Tang Yin was feeling more nervous by the second. Taking so long to decide was naturally not a good thing. ’Either he has spotted a mistake, or he is contemplating something complex.’ Tang Yin thought to himself, he hoped it was the latter.
Before long, Tian Huang turned around and gave Tang Yin a deep look. Tang Yin felt naked under Tian Huang’s gaze as if all of his secrets were exposed and laid bare before the man.
"Pass." Tian Huang delivered a verdict casually and indifferently. Only he knew that he had racked his brain to no end to make this decision. This was very rare for him.
Tang Yin let out a soft sigh of relief, all of his pent-up stress and negative speculations were released with that sigh.
Scattered Soul Daoist lamented secretly, he believed that since Tian Huang had taken so long to decide, Tang Yin should have failed. On the other hand, it was quite the opposite.
Tian Huang waved his arms, everyone was enveloped in a golden light as bright as the sun before fading. When they gained their vision, they were back on the thousand-foot-large platform.
Tian Huang manifested in the air a moment later through a golden light. A small ball of white light was in his hand, attracting everyone’s attention and gaze.
Tian Huang sent the white light towards Scattered Soul Daoist.

However, he showed none of this on his face. He cupped his fist in his palm and bowed towards Tian Huang before responding, "Thank you Senior for the reward."
Tian Huang nodded towards Scattered Soul Daoist before sweeping his gaze at the remaining cultivators. He then slowly spoke in a kindly tone.
"It is very rare for so many of you to make it all the way up to the 5th trial. Even Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators have failed many times in the past. The last trial is very hard and will most likely result in death. There are only 2 ways out in the fifth trial. Either you pass or die."
"I am a kind person. Since you have made it so far, I will give you the option to leave the Tides of Chaos safely and keep your lives." Tian Huang warned everyone before commencing the fifth trial. This was out of their expectations. They had grown an impression of Tian Huang being a brutal monster.
All of the cultivators looked at each other. It was just as Tian Huang said. They had just barely passed each trial and scraped by death. Since Tian Huang was warning them of the difficulty of the fifth trial, and even giving them a way out, why should they not take it?
The scene of the 11 other cultivators who had started with them dying via a golden light was still fresh in their minds. Just recalling it made shivers run through their spine.
