The struggle presented by the Rank 3 sea beasts allowed the Void Chains to sap away at their vitality and Qi even quicker, this only reinforced the sturdiness of the Void Chains. At this rate, Tang Yin would not even need to do anything before the Rank 3 sea beasts were sucked dry of their lives.
But Tang Yin did not have the time, he could feel much stronger ripples in the ocean. A larger and stronger wave of sea beasts was rapidly approaching him. All of this was due to the large commotion created by the battle between Tang Yin and the tide of sea beasts.
Tang Yin swiftly decapitated the struggling Rank 3 sea beasts, without delay, he devoured their corpses. Without even looking at the Rank 2 and Rank 3 Demonic Beasts almost upon him from all directions, he charged up towards the surface of the sea. Xiao Fei was his only way out.
From Tang Yin’s calculations, the battle between Xiao Fei and the golden hawk should have already been concluded. He believed Xiao Fei would be triumphant, this confidence stemmed from the ten treasures he had given her from the Gambling Stones. Each and every one of those treasures was powerful.

When Tang Yin poked his head out of the ocean’s surface, he saw a vast azure sky filled with pearly white clouds. There was no sign of Xiao Fei. But with their connection, he sensed that she was nearby.
Tang Yin turned around, wielded the Abyssal Sword, and charged towards the wave of sea beasts chasing after him. He needed to stall for time and wait for Xiao Fei to sweep him up into the sky.
Rivers of blood coloured the ocean crimson, there were thousands of sea beats ranging from Ranks 1 to 3. A Rank 4 sea beast had yet to appear. But that would change as the scent of blood in the ocean increased.
The only reason why Tang Yin could conduct such a massacre in the ocean was because the Void Chains could restrict all of the strong sea beasts which would otherwise prevent him from devouring the corpses of the sea beasts he had killed, this allowed him to replenish his Abyss Qi and heal his injuries. But Tang Yin could not avoid the mental fatigue accumulated from this endless slaughter.
Suddenly a deep roar along with the intimidating presence of a Mid-tier Rank 4 Demonic Beast rang out from thousands of feet below. Tang Yin’s expression changed drastically, before controversially changing once again to surprised delight.
He swam as fast as he could back to the surface of the ocean, he felt Xiao Fei’s call through their connection. When he poked his head out of the ocean, he saw Xiao Fei’s large 100-foot-tall body in the sky.
The moment Xiao Fei spotted Tang Yin, she swooped down at her fastest speed. She braced her talons and clawed at Tang Yin, he did not dodge but reached out towards her.
Tang Yin latched onto Xiao Fei’s talon before she sped away into the distance.
The roar from the Mid-tier Rank 4 Demonic Beast continued to reverberate in the ocean before eventually fading away...
