Chapter 125: Crimson Coral

All of this was listed on the first jade token Tang Yin bought.

The content on the second jade token talked about Blue Pearl City. Blue Pearl City was owned by a powerful sect in the south zone called Deep Pearl Sect. The Deep Pearl sect was a Rank 3 Organization with a peak Qi Transformation Realm cultivator in charge.

The Deep Pearl Sect also supposedly housed one more Qi Transformation Realm cultivator. But this was just a rumour, nobody knew if it was true.

The Deep Pearl Sect owned 3 cities, one of them was Blue Pearl City. A peak Spirit Vein Condensation Realm cultivator was a City Lord of each city, including Blue Pearl City.

The third jade token Tang Yin had bought talked about any recent events which had taken place in the south zone. Tang Yin brought this jade token because it was cheap and would provide him with enough information about his surroundings.

After thoroughly reading the jade tokens, Tang Yin crushed them. He then headed to a nearby inn. He rented out a room for 10 Low-grade Spirit Stones for 2 months. He was not going to stay in Blue Pearl City for long.

The room he rented was simple, but it was filled with luxurious furniture. Tang Yin did not care though, he just needed a place to stay.

Tang Yin spent a few hours contemplating his future plan, Xiao Fei sat beside him, she was holding his arm.

Tang Yin spent the night meditating and devouring some of the useless Artifacts in his storage ring. He recovered from his remaining injuries and reached his peak condition that night.

During the whole duration of his meditation, Xiao Fei refused to let go of him, she even snuggled into his embrace. Although Tang Yin did know why she was acting like this, he did not mind. Xiao Fei was his loved one, unless she betrayed him, he would not mind any of her actions.

The next morning Tang Yin got up and left the inn with Xiao Fei. He wandered around Blue Pearl City. His goal was to obtain more information from the various intelligence stores in the city, as well as to observe any new items he had never seen before.

The things available in the Devil Sea Region were plenty, many concepts and items were new to Tang Yin. They piqued his curiosity, and Xiao Fei’s too. freёweɓnovel.com

Tang Yin did not buy anything for himself, but he bought Xiao Fei whatever she wanted. Xiao Fei acted like a spoilt brat, anything she found interesting was bought for her by Tang Yin.

Tang Yin had plenty of Spirit Stones, the prices were not a problem.

....

A week passed.

During the week, Tang Yin walked through the whole of Blue Pearl City. Xiao Fei had already become bored of the city, she was not nearly as enthusiastic as before.

Tang Yin collected tons of information about the Devil Sea Region. His understanding of the region even surpassed some of its inhabitants. Tang Yin fully caught up on all the recent events of the south zone and even some of the other zones excluding the north zone.

Tang Yin had nothing left to do in the city. Hence, he decided to leave. He did not forget his top priority, to condense more spirit veins and advance his cultivation base.

Strength always had a voice. It could speak louder than words in any situation. If Tang Yin had the strength, the woman who had forced him to use the Teleportation Stone would not have dared to attack him.

This time Tang Yin decided not to Devour Spirit Veins, this would attract more powerful cultivators to investigate the disappearance of multiple families and sects. Tang Yin did not have another Teleportation Stone, he would find it difficult to escape if another Qi Transformation Realm cultivator pursued him.

He instead chose a slower alternative, this would not lead to any power cultivators pursuing him. This new method was to hunt down sea beasts.

Sea beasts were Demonic Beasts who lived in the ocean. Therefore, they were referred to as sea beasts by cultivators.

The main reason why Tang Yin had chosen this method was because of a special herb he had discovered during his trip around Blue Pearl City. This special herb was called Crimson Coral.

The Crimson Coral was a special herb which held a fatal attraction to sea beasts. The scent emitted by this herb could attract powerful sea beasts from anywhere the scent travelled.

The distance the scent could travel to, and its potency depended on the Crimson Coral’s age.

Most cultivators ignored this herb, attracting powerful sea beasts to themselves was akin to courting death in their eyes. However, to Tang Yin, this was a herb which could make his life much more convenient and allow him to increase his strength fairly quickly.

During the past week, Tang Yin had swept clean Blue Pearl City of all of the Crimson Corals it was selling. Since nobody bought them, they were fairly cheap and had plentiful stock.
