Dexter only has a pitiful 75 stats in strength; the gap was almost double!
If he runs now, he could survive but the girls, his wives, would definitely die.
He had only known them for almost a week but he didn’t even know what they liked. Therefore they were basically strangers.
Not to mention Lyra’s appetite. She could eat a family of three daily meal in one sitting.
Despite taking his time to cook extra portions for her, she never thanked him.
Selene basically treats him like he was filth from the dirtiest slum and flinches when he gets close to her.
Mira is the worst of them all.
Despite taking care of her every needs, she insults and undermine his ego every chance she got even when he bathes and wash her every single day.
The three women never once expressed their thanks and treats him like nothing.
Therefore it would be unreasonably, incredibly and ridiculously stupid to risk him life for them when they are basically strangers and log weight.
However, as he saw the beast moving toward the bedroom door. Toward Mira, Lyra and Selene, time seem to slow down and every sound seem to fade in the background as he heard breathing of the three women.
He recognized Mira’s taking in a deep breathe of air as though it was her last and then exhaled.
He recognized Lyra’s footsteps as she walked towards the door, impatiently awaiting what’s to come.
He recognized Selene’s slow beating heart suddenly picking up as she whispered her longest words.
"It’s finally hear."
The three had actually accepted their death and was fully embracing it.
Dexter’s face flushed in sadness but his heart lit up in inexplicable rage!
Rage that the girls had given up after this small amount of set back!
How could they be so selfish!?
Do they know how many people were born deaf and mute?
Do they know how many was born crippled or how many was born blind or how many was born with chronic pain?
And yet, those people managed to live life to the fullest, finding meaning and happiness in this world and even managed to find love.
Yet, these three selfish princesses got to live with their senses intact for so many years.
Not only that, the three were born talented and had everything served to them on silver platter but when they suffered this set back, they actually want to take their own lives?
"How can you be so selfish!?"
Dexter roared in anger and fury!
The rage burned so hot it burned away the pain.
"Scorching Fury!"
"BOOM!"
A surge of energy struck him like a thunderbolt.
His blood literally ignited as his magma like blood flooded through every fiber of his body.
His muscles trembled and swelled as his strength increased by 50%!
His eyes seem to burn with flame, with his irises flickering with actual fire as his hair floated upward.
The Dark Hound struck at the bedroom door and its claw easily pierced a hole in the door. One more strike and it would break through.
Dexter suddenly appeared beside the massive hound and thrust its two blade right through its neck.
"Ding!"
The Hound actually turned around so fast it slashed and parried the blade attack.
Dexter felt his arm trembled and he gritted his teeth.
The beast possess 150 agility stats and despite Dexter activating [Scorching Fury] his strength and agility capped at 112.5. There was still a vast difference between the two of them!
Before he could react, the Dark Hound’s mouth opened so wide it could fit a watermelon blurred as it flashed towards him.
If he doesn’t move, his head will be chopped off! But even with Scorching Fury his speed was still too slow to react to his head being bitten off.
Dexter’s eyes widened into a panic as he watched the maws of the Dark Hound Wrap around his head.
"Flame Burst!"
30 points of mana burned and Dexter’s feet released a blast of heat wave as Dexter’s agility increased by 300% for 1 second.
"Bang!"
Dexter watched as the massive mouth of the Dark hound slow down incredibly.
Dexter didn’t retreat, instead he turned towards the side of the beast. Its mouth was still wide open but its eyes actually reacted to Dexter’s incredibly fast movement.
Dexter raised the knives and stabbed them directly through the eyes of the Dark hound with all his strength.
The beast could track Dexter’s movement but just like the previous Dexter, it couldn’t react and could only watch as the blade stabbed into its left eye and straight to its skull.

The beast froze and then collapsed in an instant.
"Ding!"
The notification barely registered but Dexter was already moving.
The two wounded Hounds from before already stood up. One was limping while the other was circling around him, snarling and circling, looking for an opening.
"Awooooo!"
"Awooooo!"
The two beasts actually let loose a loud howl. Dexter’s face couldn’t be more blacker.
He moved with incredible speed, slashing the throat of the first Dark Hound and using his momentum, he stabbed his blade through the skull of the second Dark Hound, pinning it to the wall like a decoration.
Hearing the howl, Dark Hounds began converging rapidly around the house.
Two level 6 burst through the kitchen window but before they could land, two emerald and almost invisible needle pin tore through the air like a bullet, heading for the nose of the first Dark hound and the second needle pin heading for the cheek of the second.
If hit, it will probably be non fatal. It was truly a bad throw.
But strangely, the needles changed trajectory in mid air and stabbed into the eyes of the Dark Hounds.
"Chi!" "Chi!"

The two 6-Star beast collapsed on the kitchen floor, sliding forward due to the momentum of their lunge.

Dexter didn’t care about the notification as another Dark Hound burst through the kitchen doorway. Then another at the destroyed front door.
He pulled the knife from the dead Hound’s neck and gripped it in his left hand, then picked up the broadsword beneath his feet.
The first Hound lunged.
Dexter didn’t try to dodge this time. He parried the claw strike with the broadsword as the impact sent vibrations up his arm, but Scorching Fury gave him the strength to hold his ground, then activated Flame Burst Step.
"Whoosh."
He vanished like a puff of smoke. One moment he was in front of the Hound, the next he was beside it, appearing so fast that the creature’s eyes couldn’t track him.
He slashed its head off clean.
The body dropped. The head rolled.
The second Hound came from behind. Dexter heard it and spun, bringing the broadsword around in a wide arc. The blade caught the Hound across the chest, cutting deep into its ribs. It yelped and stumbled back.
The third Hound attacked from the kitchen doorway. Dexter Flame Burst Stepped again, appearing to its left, and drove the knife into its eye. The creature shrieked and collapsed.
The fourth Hound hesitated but Dexter didn’t, in his anger, he lunged forward and attacked, his speed was fast and his momentum oppressive that the Mutated beast actually turned tail and ran but Dexter caught up with it, killing it in a two strikes.
The Dark Hound kept converging and Dexter was like a mad babarian, using everything in his asernal to kill. The more he kills the stringer he becomes!
By the time Hero’s from the Hero Association, Dark Hound corpses filled the entire house, both inside and outside of it.
