Yue Yue finally returned to the room with Cang Yuze and Han Soi. The moment they stepped inside, she saw Xing Luoye gently rocking the two griffin cubs in his arms.
The cubs had woken up again and were crying loudly. Their small bodies shook with sad chirps.

Even little Xiao Bai looked very tense. He was trying hard to get the attention of his younger brother and sister, but the griffin cubs would not even look at him. They kept crying sadly.
"They are crying because they could not sense their mother," Xing Luoye said.

"How could something like this happen?" he asked. His question was the same as everyone else’s. "That room is supposed to push back the darkness and pollution. The orb’s main task is to keep the entire Sea Empire safe. How could it be filled with so many parasites?"
