Yue Yue walked into the sacred room alongside Cang Yuze and Han Soi. The heavy doors closed quietly behind them.
In the center, the purified orb floated gently in the middle of the air. It looked beautiful and magnificent, glowing with soft white and blue swirls inside the crystal.
Cang Yuze looked around carefully but did not see anything wrong. He stepped aside and let Yue Yue pass beside him.
The moment Yue Yue stepped fully inside the room, she stopped suddenly. Her breath hitched.
The orb was indeed beautiful, but crawling all over its glowing surface were countless small black parasites.
Their thin, slimy strands moved slowly as they circled and climbed over the crystal. Some were even inside the orb, wriggling through the cracks.
And it was not just on the orb, the entire room was filled with them. Countless parasites covered the floor, the walls, and even floated in the air like dark dust.
Yue Yue’s face immediately hardened. She turned quickly to Han Soi and Cang Yuze and said in a firm voice, "You two stay back."
Just as she spoke, the parasites on the ground sensed the living energy nearby. They started crawling toward them at once, thin strands reaching out hungrily.
But the moment they sensed Yue Yue, they shifted direction. They ignored her completely and targeted only Han Soi and Cang Yuze.
Yue Yue’s expression became even more stunned. There were so many of them, yet the two men could not see anything.

"Cang Yuze," Yue Yue said urgently, "there are countless parasites inside this room."
Cang Yuze’s expression stiffened. He could not see them, but he trusted Yue Yue completely.
He immediately reached out to pull her back. "Yue, let’s go. Don’t step inside there. There are many of them."
He tried to move her away from the center of the room, worry clear in his voice.
Yue Yue did not move. Her hand glowed brightly with green purification energy. She raised it and blasted the green light forward in a wide wave.
The moment the green energy touched the parasites, many of them suddenly became visible.
They appeared out of nowhere right in front of everyone’s eyes, disgusting black insects with countless wriggling strands, crawling and leaping toward Han Soi and Cang Yuze.
Han Soi and Cang Yuze’s expressions turned shocked. They finally saw the horrifying sight.
The floor was covered with the creatures. Some were still trying to reach them even as the green energy burned them.
Yue Yue kept blasting more green energy, purifying as many as she could. It was almost exhausting.
There were still many left, but every time her purification energy touched them, the parasites became visible and then dissolved with a small puff, leaving behind only a faint disgusting odor.
Cang Yuze and Han Soi stood ready, protecting her from any that tried to get too close. Their faces were filled with horror as they watched the scene.
After several minutes of continuous purification, Yue Yue finally lowered her hand.
She was breathing a little heavily, but most of the visible parasites were gone. The room felt slightly cleaner, though the orb still had a visible crack.
Yue Yue turned to the two men and explained in a straightforward tone, "Cang Yuze, I think these parasites are the reason the orb has cracked. They have been feeding on its energy and weakening it from the inside."
Both men were stunned. Cang Yuze stared at the damaged orb, then back at Yue Yue. Han Soi’s eyes narrowed as he looked at the few remaining black spots that were still trying to hide.
"So that is why the polluted zone appeared so suddenly and grew so fast," Cang Yuze said quietly, his voice heavy.
"The parasites damaged the orb, and the protection failed."
Yue Yue nodded. "They were hiding perfectly. Only my purification energy can force them to show themselves and destroy them. That is why you could not see them before."
Han Soi stepped closer to the orb, staying careful. "We need to purify the rest of them and find a way to repair the crack. If more parasites are inside the orb, the entire Sea Empire will stay in danger."
Yue Yue looked at the floating crystal. A few tiny black strands were still moving slowly near the crack. She raised her hand again and sent another gentle wave of green energy toward the orb.
The remaining parasites hissed and tried to run, but they became visible and dissolved one by one. The black energy leaking from the crack became much weaker.
Cang Yuze watched her with deep concern and admiration. "You are the only one who can do this, Yue. Thank you for staying and helping us."
Yue Yue gave a small smile, though she still looked tired. "We cannot let this spread. I will keep purifying until the room is clean."

By the time they finished, the sacred room felt much lighter. The orb still had the crack, but the dark energy around it had almost disappeared.
Cang Yuze looked at Yue Yue with serious eyes. "You have done enough for now. You need to rest. The cubs are waiting, and you have used a lot of energy."
Han Soi and Cang Yuze’s expressions were filled with pain as they looked at her working so hard. She was such a frail female, but she was working so hard.
