Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Until I Am Dead
While the outside world was in a total frenzy, Yue Yue was just lazing around the High Priest’s house.
She was incredibly thankful that Feng Yanshen had not come back yet. The entire day after the ceremony had passed, and she had done nothing but eat and feel depressed.
She was starting to feel like a prisoner. Han Soi was still not back, and she wasn’t allowed to step a foot outside because the Orcs had gone completely crazy. She had so many thoughts running through her head that she felt like she might die from overthinking.
But the most pressing issue was her belly. She could feel it moving and shifting.
According to the system, she was going to give birth tomorrow. Every time she felt a ripple of movement, her face turned red.
She secretly hoped the High Priest would stay away for another day so she could lay her egg in peace without him catching her.
Being a first-time mom in a strange world was terrifying. She finally couldn’t hold it in and talked to the system.
"System, is it going to hurt to have this baby?" she asked nervously. "I haven’t even seen a doctor! How am I supposed to give birth alone? Shouldn’t I at least tell someone?" fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
She was genuinely worried. She had no knowledge of how to give birth to an egg, and she had no idea what precautions to take once the egg actually came out.
The System’s robotic voice immediately replied, [Host, you do not need to worry about anything. Everything will be managed by the System from the delivery to the post-birth care of the egg. You just have to be present. As for the childbirth pain, the System will block 100% of the sensation. This is a built-in feature to assist the Host.]
The System continued, [The System is here to help you in every aspect, including winning the villain’s heart. This child is a key part of breaking the plot and winning over the Villains. Therefore, the System will provide all necessary medical support so the Host can remain calm.]
Yue Yue let out a massive sigh of relief. She had heard stories about females screaming in pain for hours during childbirth, and she had been sweating buckets just thinking about being alone and in agony.
Knowing she wouldn’t feel a thing made her feel like a huge weight had been lifted off her chest. At least she wouldn’t have to explain her screams to the temple guards outside.
As the sun began to set, Wei Han arrived with a tray of delicious dinner. Yue Yue ate every single bite, knowing she needed to keep her strength up. She didn’t know how tomorrow would fare, but she wanted to be as ready as possible.
After finishing her meal, she crawled back into the large, soft bed. Her body felt heavy and tired.
As she closed her eyes, she whispered a small prayer that everything would go smoothly. Sleep quickly took over, her body resting deeply before the big day arrived.

Han Soi finally reached the temple, his heart pounding with anxiety. But the moment he tried to enter, he was blocked. The temple guards and servants stood in his way, their faces firm.
"You cannot enter," a servant said. "The situation is far too dangerous. No one is allowed to interact with Lady Yue Yue right now."
Han Soi flew into a rage. His eyes turned dark, and his SSS-rank aura exploded. He almost killed the servants where they stood, but suddenly, a much more powerful pressure slammed into him. His aura was crushed instantly.
Han Soi looked up and met the High Priest, Feng Yanshen, for the first time in the temple.
A strange sensation filled Han Soi’s heart. He felt a deep enmity coming from the priest, as if the man wanted to kill him. Han Soi was confused; he had never interacted with this man before, so why did the High Priest hate him so much?
Han Soi forced himself to bow. "High Priest, I am Yue Yue’s husband. I would never harm her. Please, let me meet my wife."
Feng Yanshen looked at him with such coldness that Han Soi felt like a hole was being burned into his head.
The High Priest didn’t answer for a long time. Han Soi stiffened, realizing that the temple really had no intention of letting him in.
Suddenly, the High Priest chuckled. It was a dark, mocking sound. "What is so good about you?" he asked.
Han Soi’s gaze hardened. He knew the High Priest was looking down on him.
Feng Yanshen stepped closer until they were face to face. "You are nothing but a weakling," the priest whispered in a mocking, mysterious tone. "I really do not know what she finds so good in a man like you."
Han Soi’s heart skipped a beat. Is he talking about my wife? His eyes glared with fire.
"High Priest!" he said in a warning tone. He would never allow anyone to speak about his wife with such familiarity. "Where is my wife?"
"Your wife?" Feng Yanshen said, his voice dropping to a threatening level. "Until I am dead, she can never be yours."
Han Soi finally realized the truth. The look in the High Priest’s eyes wasn’t just coldness...it was the look of a male who wanted the same female. The High Priest was actually fancying his wife!
Han Soi’s teeth gritted together. He forced a fake, sharp smile. "It seems the High Priest has forgotten. You are the one who bound us together. Under your gaze, we swore to the heavens and became husband and wife." ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
He was directly challenging the Priest’s authority. But Feng Yanshen only laughed. "So you are relying on that bond? What if I annul it? After all, I was the one who performed the ceremony. I can take it away just as easily."
The tension between them was so thick it felt like the air would explode. The temple servants were getting incredibly anxious.
They had never seen the High Priest so angry or so humanly jealous. They wanted to drag Han Soi away, but they knew Han Soi was the strongest of the young generation. They were no match for him.
Only the High Priest was arrogant enough to call a powerful Orc like Han Soi a "weakling."
After all, Feng Yanshen was the most powerful existence in all four empires. No one had ever dared to cross him until today.
