Chapter 471: The Forbidden Rite
[The Obsidian Throne — Togas’s Domain]
Deep within the Fourth Realm, sitting upon a throne of jagged obsidian, Togas leaned forward. His eyes were fixed on a massive, floating screen of shimmering mercury that displayed the battle in the Unknown World.
"This kid is indeed strong, I am impressed." Togas muttered, his voice a low, gravelly rumble that made the shadows in the room tremble. He watched Lucian’s effortless display of power with the gaze of a predator evaluating prime livestock.
"Maybe if I kill him and eat his body, I can gain his law and powers... But, what will that Sunny think?" He grinned, revealing rows of unnaturally sharp, silver teeth. "He sent his children all the way to my realm, to locate that beast... If I kill them here, how would he know I did it? And that Water Beast... If I absorb her core, I will gain its powers, then the other realm Rulers won’t be able to harm me."
He nodded his head, the cruel logic of a tyrant settling into place. "Once they’re done with this show, I will take care of these Commandments, and capture all his children. Slowly, I will eat their flesh and make them watch." He laughed, a hollow, terrifying sound that echoed through his silent domain.

[The Unknown World.]
"This?" The eight remaining Commandments were dumbfounded, their formations crumbling as they stared at Lucian in surprise. The sheer physical dominance he had shown against the Second was an insult to their status.
"You are indeed strong... Third, Fourth and fifth... Teach this brat a lesson." The First Commandment ordered, her voice sharp with agitation.
"Yes!!"
The three women blurred into motion, red swords made of condensed, crystalline blood manifesting in their hands. They moved in a triangle formation, their blades humming with a lethal thirst.
Lucian frowned, his golden eyes narrowing. He pointed a lazy finger at the First Commandment. "Are you deaf or something?! I say come at me together! Gosh, this is why I hate fighting enemies without a brain." He said with a long, exhausted sigh, as if the battle was a chore he couldn’t wait to finish.
"You child, you aren’t even twenty, and you’re already this arrogant. At least stop my three Swords fighters, then we will see." The First Commandment said with a smirk, convinced that three elite specialists would be enough to bleed the boy.
"If that’s what you want, ok." Lucian’s demeanor shifted. He clenched his fists, and the air around him began to crackle with an ozone-heavy pressure. He raised his hand high over his head.
"Destruction Lightning!!" He yelled.
".....?!!"
The very sky turned a violent, bruised crimson. Feeling the absolute, terminal energy pouring from the gathering clouds, the three charging swordswomen skidded to a halt. They looked up, their faces pale with disbelief. freёwebnoѵel.com
"This is too powerful, we need to retreat!!" one yelled. But the moment she tried to leap back, her eyes widened in horror. She discovered her feet were frozen to the ground, encased in a layer of absolute-zero ice that had crept up from the earth.
"This?!" They were trapped between heaven and hell.
"Die!!"
Lucian dropped his hand. A massive bolt of red lightning, shaped like a colossal, multi-headed snake dragon, roared down from the heavens.
"No!!!" The First Commandment yelled in shock as the dragon-bolt smashed into the three women. There was no blood, only a blinding flash of annihilation. The lightning shattered them into microscopic pieces, which instantly disintegrated into grey dust carried away by the shockwave.
The First Commandment gritted her teeth so hard they nearly cracked. She snapped her head toward Treasure, who was calmly lowering her hand, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"What? You are underestimating my big brother, so I wanted them to feel his power." Treasure said with a shrug, her icy support having ensured the kill.
"You!" The First Commandment reached out to summon her scorpions, but her heart sank as she realized the connection was severed; they had been vaporized in the blast.
’This is bad, we already lost four commandments... If this continues, my strength will be greatly reduced.’ She thought, a cold sweat breaking out on her brow. ’This kid might look lazy, but he has the law of destruction in him... Not to mention those two, this is annoying.’
She took a deep breath and exhaled, her eyes turning a murderous, dark crimson. "Okay, it seems we truly underestimated you..." She raised her hand, and before the group could react, she plunged her hand right into her own chest with a sickening squelch.
"...?!"
The five Commandments behind her didn’t flinch. They nodded in eerie unison and mirrored the action, plunging their hands into their own chests and ripping out their still-beating, glowing hearts.
"What are they doing?" Jinx asked, her daggers manifesting in her hands, her instincts screaming that something foul was approaching.
"I don’t know, this is really strange." Nammu added, her aura rippling in distress.
"Strange? That’s disgusting!" Treasure snapped, rolling her eyes, though she stepped closer to her siblings.
The six remaining Commandments raised their hearts toward the bleeding sky like macabre offerings.
"Restoration Forbidden Technique!!"
They yelled in a haunting harmony. A pillar of pure, sanguine light erupted from the zenith of the sky, smashing into the six hearts. The collision sent massive waves of concussive force across the landscape, shattering the nearby boulders into pebbles.
"This?" Lucian showed a hint of genuine shock, his lazy expression finally breaking. He leaped backward with a single bound, landing beside Jinx.
"Big sister Jinx, this energy." He said, his tone turning dark and heavy.
"Yes, it’s close to your dad’s, but it’s hundred times weaker." Jinx answered, her expression turning deadly serious.
"Hahaha! You actually made me take my true form."
A voice, melodic and terrifyingly beautiful, resonated from the center of the red beam. The six Commandments had vanished, merged into a single entity. From the light, a woman walked out. She had cascading hair the color of fresh arterial blood and eyes that held the depth of a dying star. She wore a flowing dress of crimson silk, and a jagged, red crescent moon hovered like a halo behind her head.
"She... She is actually the Blood Moon Goddess!! A half Realm Ruler!!" Nammu exclaimed in horror, her voice trembling as the sheer weight of the Goddess’s divinity pressed down upon them.
