As a result, property prices in the area ranked among the highest in the city.
Emerald Horizon Tower was one of the most prestigious residential complexes in the entire district.

"I’m the owner," he said casually. "Also, let your property manager know I’ve arrived. I need to discuss a few things with him."
The guard accepted the certificate and glanced down at it.
A second later, his eyes widened.

The entire building.
He looked back at Luca, then at the stack of documents still sitting inside the compartment.
For a moment, he honestly wondered whether every unit deed in the tower was sitting in that box.
"Of course, sir."
His attitude immediately became more respectful.
The barrier lifted, and Naomi guided the Porsche smoothly into the residential complex.
Meanwhile, the property management office received the call.
The manager nearly jumped out of his chair.
Ever since news had spread that someone had purchased the entire building the previous day, everyone in the office had been curious about the mysterious buyer. Now that person had actually arrived.
Daniel Mercer quickly straightened his suit and hurried toward Building No. 6.

The renovations exceeded expectations.
After viewing several layouts, Naomi finally stopped inside an apartment on the twenty-second floor.

Luca glanced around and nodded.
"Good choice."
A few minutes later, the elevator doors opened again.
A man in a tailored suit was already waiting outside.
"You must be Mr. Hale. I’m Daniel Mercer, chief property manager of Emerald Horizon Tower. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you."
Before he could continue, Luca stared at him for a second and suddenly laughed.
"Daniel Mercer? No way."
Daniel blinked.
Then he got a proper look at Luca’s face.
His eyes widened.
"Luca Hale?!"
Now it was his turn to be stunned.
When the security office had informed him that the building’s owner had arrived, he had imagined some middle-aged business magnate.
Never in his wildest dreams had he expected to see an old university classmate stepping out of the elevator.
For a few seconds, Daniel simply stood there.
The two of them had graduated from the same university only a few years ago.
Most of their classmates were still working ordinary jobs, building their careers one step at a time.
Yet Luca now owned the entire building they were standing inside.
The difference was so absurd that Daniel struggled to process it.
His gaze shifted toward Naomi.
She stood quietly beside Luca, elegant and stunning enough to make even seasoned celebrities seem ordinary by comparison.

Honestly, they looked perfect together.
"Luca..." Daniel finally said. "You really own this whole building?"
"Yeah."
Luca answered so casually that Daniel almost laughed.
"You’ve become ridiculous."
Luca chuckled.
"We can catch up later. I actually called you over because I need someone to handle leasing."
Daniel immediately became serious.
Luca explained that he intended to keep the apartments between the twentieth and twenty-fifth floors for personal use while leasing the remaining units.
Without much discussion, he handed management of the rentals directly to Daniel’s department.
Daniel’s heart skipped a beat.
This wasn’t a small contract.
It was a huge opportunity for both him and the company.
"Don’t worry," Daniel said firmly. "I’ll personally oversee everything."
"I know you will."
After finalizing the details, Luca and Naomi left the building together.
Daniel watched them disappear into the distance before finally letting out a long breath.
Some people really did seem to win at life.
The moment he returned to his office, he pulled out his phone and opened their old university group chat.
Daniel Mercer: "Guess who I just ran into today?"
Barrett Vance: "A celebrity?"
Natalia: "Some esports champion?"
Daniel Mercer: "One of our classmates."
