Chapter 210: Clean Up
After the others also agreed that they should do something about Celia’s bloodied body, Theodore thought of cleaning the girl’s body first before they continued their journey.
Because this city was not without zombies, if they wanted to get out of this city D, then their border with City H would have many zombies, and the scent of blood emanating from Celia’s body could do them harm.
"But where can we clean this girl’s body?" Roxanne was confused because, honestly, she also intended to take a shower, but she didn’t know how many days it had been.
"I don’t know, I don’t know if there are any houses here that have water." Theodore shook his head, not knowing.
"It looks like we don’t need to find a house that we can break into. Bathing in a river or lake seems like something to consider," Geoffrey said as he looked back at Roxanne and Celia.
"Although bathing outside is a little difficult, it doesn’t matter right?" Roxanne turned her head this time to look at Celia, who had been silent for a while.
"Yes, I have no problem with that. There are actually several rivers around this town, it’s just that I don’t know where exactly they are located," Celia replied uncertainly.
"No problem, I can find one close to our current location," Geoffrey replied, immediately working on the tablet in his hand.
While waiting for Geoffrey to find the exact location of the river they were going to, Theodore retook the wheel and ran their car leisurely.
Geoffrey needed more time to find their destination. He did not expect it to be this difficult to find something. If the internet could still be used today, Geoffrey would not have this kind of difficulty.
"You haven’t found it yet?" Theodore glanced briefly at Geoffrey while frowning in confusion.
"Not yet. It was quite difficult to find," Geoffrey replied with an annoyed face, but he still tried to find the river.
Theodore had to stop the car several times when he felt human footsteps approaching their vehicle; he didn’t want the previous incident to happen again to them; it was better to stay away from humans in this city.
Until finally Geoffrey managed to find a river not too far from their current location. Theodore immediately drove his car in the direction where the river was located with directions from Geoffrey.
Before letting Roxanne and Celia bathe in the river, Theodore made sure that the area had no zombies and was also quiet. Theodore didn’t want them to be suddenly attacked by those crazy people with drugs.
"You guys wait here," Theodore said to Roxanne and the other two while he looked for a spot that was closed enough for the others to clean themselves in peace.
"Where are you going?" A confused Roxanne stopped Theodore from asking.
"I’m going to find a safe place for you guys, so just wait here and watch the car," Theodore replied briefly, then continued on his way.
In addition to finding a safe place Theodore also wanted to provide water from the river in the sacred dimension for them, he was still afraid of the water in the river here, considering that the water could have been contaminated with the zombie virus.
So, after finding a safe location, Theodore took out a fairly wide but not too high water tank from the sacred dimension and filled it with water from the spring in the sacred dimension.
After making sure that everything was ready, Theodore returned to his friends.
"I have prepared it behind that small hill, you can use the water in the tank. Don’t drink water from the river. We don’t know if the river is infected or not." Before letting them go, Theodore reminded them not to drink water from the river.
"Alright, I’ll keep that in mind. By the way, can you get my bag that was in our car earlier? I need the change of clothes that was in that bag," Roxanne said, asking Theodore to take out her bag.
Theodore rolled his eyes lazily when he heard that, but he did it anyway and took out the bag Roxanne was referring to from inside his sacred dimension.
"Here, now go help Celia clean her body. You can also use this time to take care of yourself," Theodore said before Roxanne and Celia left.
Roxanne just nodded with a face full of smiles. Theodore thought that Roxanne seemed quite happy with their free time.
After Roxanne and Celia disappeared behind the small hill around the river, Theodore was again disturbed by Geoffrey, who also whined to join the bath.
"Brother! Then, what about me? I want to take a bath too? Do you know how many days I haven’t washed my body? Do you see my clothes are full of blood too?!" Geoffrey babbled, railing at Theodore to let him bathe as well.
"Gosh, why are you making so much noise!" Theodore covered his buzzing ears after being asked various questions by Geoffrey.
But Geoffrey did not stop asking Theodore to take him to bathe in the river as well. Because it was like this Theodore finally gave in and took Geoffrey to bathe there too but in the opposite place.
"You can stop whining like that. I’ll take you to bathe too, come on!" Theodore walked in the opposite direction, and Geoffrey eagerly followed him.
While looking for their own place Theodore and Geoffrey could see that the water in this river was already quite murky and seemed to be unsafe to use.
"Is the water in this river contaminated?" Geoffrey also looked at the river strangely. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"It could be like that. I’m sure the water was originally clear, but now it has turned into this," Theodore replied, feeling that it was a pity that the river could not be saved.
"I hope Roxanne and that girl are okay. It would be dangerous if they got contaminated because of the water in this river," Geoffrey replied as he sighed softly.
"Don’t worry, I warned them. If they still do it then they’re fools." Theodore shrugged his shoulders indifferently.
Fortunately, they found a relatively enclosed location, so Theodore took out another water tank and let Geoffrey bathe in it.
"You’re not bathing?" Geoffrey looked at Theodore questioningly when he saw that he had no intention of taking a bath.
"I’ve already bathed, so you can use the water as you like," Theodore replied, choosing to climb a nearby tree to monitor the situation around them.
Since Theodore had said so, Geoffrey was no longer reluctant and immediately washed his body with the abundant fresh water.
