Chapter 157: Don’t Tell Me You Awakened Too?

Theodore was still shocked and did not move from his position, which was when Madeline and Neville entered through the gap that appeared to search for Theodore inside the dome of the ruins.

"Did you do that, Madeline?" Theodore pointed at the open gap.

Since Neville couldn’t have made the gap because it wasn’t his power and there was only Madeline, Theodore assumed it was Madeline’s power. It’s just that Theodore didn’t know that Madeline also had powers.

"Indeed, who else can do it if not me?" Madeline rolled her eyes and glanced at Theodore sarcastically.

"I didn’t know you were also one of the awakened humans. Have you found a vehicle for us?" Theodore immediately asked about the vehicle they needed.

"I did. That’s why I came here and found this boy almost crying. It was because he heard something falling from inside the ruins," Madeline explained while pointing at Neville, who looked like he was about to cry.

"Are you alright? I heard you fall from upstairs," Neville replied quickly, looking worried about Theodore.

"I’m fine. I actually found a car here too." Theodore pointed at the car, which was not far from their current position. "You don’t mind if we use a separate car, do you?" Theodore continued, pointing at Madeline.

"If you want to do that, I have no problem." Madeline also nodded her head. No problem this time.

"Then, can I ask you for a favor to widen the gap so that I can get this car out of this place?" Theodore also tried to ask Madeline for help.

"Gosh, you’re so demanding!" Despite saying something like that, Madeline walked towards the gap she had made and began to widen it so that the car Theodore had found could get out of there.

Seeing that, Theodore walked quickly towards the car he found. Fortunately, there was a key in the dashboard. Theodore immediately started the car engine, and after a while, he drove it to get out of this ruin.

With Madeline’s help, Theodore was able to get the car out smoothly. Finally,. Finally, he brought out the car; now they can travel in it. After successfully getting out of the ruins, Theodore got out of his car.

"Thank you for your help." Theodore also approached Madeline and Neville, who hurriedly walked out of the ruins.

"No problem. Consider it my apology for putting you in danger yesterday," Madeline replied while looking away.

"Then would you like me to take you to where your group is gathered?" Theodore offered Madeline a ride so that they could also continue their journey.

"That’s fine; let’s go now." Madeline nodded, accepting Theodore’s invitation.

With that, Madeline and Neville got into the luxury car that Theodore found. Once inside the vehicle, Madeline directed Theodore to where her group was. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com

Fortunately, the whereabouts of Madeline’s group members were not too far away, so Theodore only needed to drive the car for a short time.

When they saw an unknown car approaching them, the people brought by Madeline were already preparing to shoot the vehicle Theodore was driving.

To prevent this, Madeline opened the window and stuck her head out to warn her men not to shoot at the car. After they saw Madeline, they lowered their weapons.

When Theodore stopped the car, the three of them got out of the car to discuss their trip this time.

"Boss! Why are you with her?!" frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

"Don’t ask too many questions. We’ll continue our journey in a bit. Since Theodore also found a car, we will be traveling separately." Madeline explained the condition of their group.

Neville secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He was still not used to the existence of Madeline and her men. That’s why he was delighted when Neville heard that they would travel.

Although Madeline heard Neville’s relief, she remained silent and continued her sentence because she still had something to say.

"Since the only ones who know the location of the warehouse are you and this boy, then we will follow you from behind," Madeline continued, letting Theodore lead their journey.

Because Madeline was sure that the boy Neville would refuse to go with her, she could only allow Theodore to take over this trip. However, Madeline only lets Theodore take charge of the travel matters.

"Are you sure you want to let me lead our trip?" Theodore could not believe what Madeline was saying.

"Just for this time. Don’t get big-headed just yet, when we get to our destination my group and I will take over," Madeline explained calmly.

"Ah, that’s it. Then we can leave now; we’ve wasted too much time here," Theodore replied while looking at the sky above them. The sun was already shining high in the sky at this time.

"You’re right. Get ready then!" Madeline immediately invited her men to return to the car they found.

Meanwhile, Theodore himself invited Neville to return to their car. Theodore could see Neville was more excited now than before. He knew the reason was that they were about to part with Madeline and her men.

"You seem very happy to part with them," Theodore said when they were already in the car.

"Of course I am! Aren’t you happy?" Neville glanced at Theodore with a big smile still hanging on his face.

"I’m the same way. At least we can relax without them, don’t forget you still have the job of guiding me to the warehouse," Theodore said later.

"Take it easy, I can easily guide you if the conditions are conducive like this," Neville replied calmly this time.

"I’ll leave it to you then." Theodore replied with a chuckle.

Theodore waited until Madeline and her group were ready. When they were ready, he started the car and began their delayed journey.

They started their journey smoothly. Only a few zombies were seen wandering the main road. Theodore drove the car fast; as he said before, they had wasted too much time.

Now, they had to take back the time that had been wasted, so Theodore drove his car at high speed.

"I think you should slow down," Neville said suddenly.

"Why is that?" Theodore gave Neville a questioning glance.

"Besides them having a hard time catching up to us, I sense a large wave of zombies ahead. It looks like we need to turn around to find another way," Neville explained while pointing at Madeline’s car behind them, which seemed to be struggling to catch up with Theodore’s car.

After hearing Neville’s explanation, Theodore slowly slowed down his car speed. Honestly, Theodore ignored the car behind him. He didn’t know Madeline, and her group had trouble catching up with him.

"Then, which road is safe for us to take at this time?" Theodore immediately asked Neville, next to him, for an alternative road.

"Up ahead, turn right. It’s a forked road but it’s much safer than going through a huge wave of zombies," Neville explained as he pointed to the intersection ahead.

Theodore obediently obeyed Neville’s words. He trusted Neville’s hearing, so there was no way he would mislead them.
