Chapter 14: With Your Mouth

Liam’s POV:

What did she just ask me to do?

I stared at her in confusion, because why in the world would she break her glass intentionally and ask me to clean it?

She broke it on purpose, it was not any kind of accident.

I quietly nodded and strolled to the box of napkins that was left on the glass table and took a couple of them before walking closer to Anastasia.

I gulped when her pheromones overwhelmed me, I even closed my eyes in an attempt to hold myself together before kneeling on the floor almost between her legs, starting to wipe the wine.

I did not dare to raise my gaze and look at her because I already could feel her staring at me.

I don’t know why she decided to stare into my soul all of a sudden.

After I finished gathering all the glass pieces in the napkin, I was about to stand up to leave because her scent and stares were driving me nuts which is why I don’t think I can keep my sanity any longer.

I gulped thickly before hesitantly lifting my gaze toward her eyes, holding eye contact with her.

My body slowly started to calm down and almost melted down because of her touch.

All this while we are still holding eye contact.

I started coughing and my eyes watered a bit when her fingers almost reached my throat.

A smirk formed on her lips as she watched me coughing and trying to breathe properly again.

I hated that look on her face and hated the fact that she was disappointed in me.

This does not feel good at all.

This time I did not gag, I controlled my breathing as held eye contact with her again and I could see how her smirk widened a little bit.

" That’s good." She paused to ask "Do you want to see how much you can actually take?"

My eyes automatically moved to look down at her lap.

I know for a fact she can see hesitation in my eyes.

I’m not hesitant because of that reason, I’m just scared I might expose myself and she would pick up my scent and find out I’m her mate.
