With this in mind, Qiao Xixi ran out of the shelter, muttering an incantation under her breath.
"Wind."
A great gust of wind swept through, driving the rain so fiercely against their faces that they could barely open their eyes.
"Xixi, why did you come out?"
Jin Ling’s sharp eyes spotted Qiao Xixi, and he quickly spun around to her side.

Originally, Jin Ling’s group had planned to wait for the rain to subside before departing, but now they had to reach Beast King City before Yu Ye and his subordinates.

Jin Ling held Qiao Xixi as they sat atop Kunlin. Qiao Xixi closed her eyes, her hands forming an incantation seal.
