I glanced over at a black haired boy on the other side of the room. He was below average in the looks department and had thick black glasses that made him appear like a nerd, Not to mention the countless pimples across his face. The reason I thought about choosing Ben was simple, Unlike the others he had two targets instead of one and they were the two girls closest to me, My girlfriend and childhood friend.
I had no idea why but I felt as if he was the right choice.

After making the selection i instantly realized that I could move my entire body again as I scanned past the two messages that popped up on the screen. At the same time something in the air seemed to change in a way that I couldn’t explain. I couldn’t see anything different but I knew that something had happened, And after a moment I heard a confused voice that wasn’t mine sounding out in the silence of the room.
"Huh?" I looked over toward the side of the classroom where I saw Ben with an expression of bewilderment.
"W~what’s this timer?" The pimple faced boy was staring at something in front of him which seemed to be exactly was I was seeing.
’Fourteen minutes and ninety six seconds’ In the corner of my vision was a timer that was slowly going down from ten minutes.
"W~what?" Ben finally looked around and I saw his pupils shrinking as he noticed that nobody was moving even an inch.
"...." He hesitantly stood up from his seat and I could see the obvious bewilderment painted across his face.
"H~hello?" Ben waved his hand a couple times across the frozen face of a girl who was sitting next to him. freeweɓnovel.cøm
"Hey!" After she didn’t react he grabbed her shoulder and shook her roughly while raising his shaking voice.
"Hello!" Ben quickly went up to another student and shook them as well before he stood back up with shock in his eyes.
"N~no way..." My classmate muttered and continued to look around as if his mind was struggling to process what was happening.
"Hahaha!" Yet it only took a few seconds for Ben to cover his mouth while breaking out into a hysterical laugh.
