The girl behind me was Izzy.
She was actually quite popular even with the kids in the higher grades, And it wasn’t really surprising when you looked at her. Beautiful confident girls with a big chest were every guys dreams and every girls envy. I had known Izzy for longer than Charlotte and there was even a time when I used to have a crush on her, Although I would never admit that since Charlotte might murder me in my sleep.
Izzy had a mixed reputation.
Most thought she was nice and outgoing but if you listened around you’d hear some pretty nasty stuff. Like the fact she’s a girl who’s easy, Or the rumor that she had lost her virginity to a college student. Of course I didn’t believe any of that stuff, I knew very well that rumors were nothing more than that. I mean most people thought Charlotte was cold but I knew that once you got to know her she was gentle and warm.
’They were probably just made up by some jealous girls’ I thought while the class filled up until every seat was filled with someone.
"Alright everyone"
Eventually Mister Thomas walked into the classroom and closed the door behind him. He was a middle aged man who was pretty handsome, He had thick black hair that was filled with gel and wore a pair of stylish black glasses. He also wore a pair of black dress pants and a black vest that made him look professional.
"Today will be a simple day" He stood in front of the class with a commanding presence that drew everyone’s attention.
"Izzy" Mister Thomas paused before looking in my direction or more specifically to the desk behind mine.
"Put it away" He said sternly and I looked back to find Izzy still fiddling with her nails.
"Yes sir" Izzy didn’t make trouble and smiled as she put the nail filer away.
"Thank you" Mister Thomas wasn’t the type to get hung up on small things which made him very likable.
"Now"
"I’ll be playing a movie for the rest of the period" He said making a lot of the kids in the class smile.
"For your homework I want a three page essay about Its plot and how it relates to you" But the all disappeared the second he continued his sentence.
"Ugh"
"No way"
"Not again"
"Kill me!"
Voices mixed with agony and displeasure sounded out and I couldn’t help but let out an annoyed sigh of my own.
Lucas and Jace were no different while Izzy, Charlotte, And Alice seemed unfazed.
"Is there a problem Ben?" Mister Thomas asked a particular student who was banging his head against the desk near the window.
He was a young man with short black hair that was combed to the sides with a part down the middle. He wore thick black glasses on his face that made him look nerdy and had pimples on his cheeks, He definitely wasn’t the best looking guy but you could tell that he was trying to be fashionable by his hair and clothes, Although it wasn’t working.
"...N~no" Ben shrunk back as half the class looked in his direction and muttered with a stutter. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
"Good" Mister Thomas nodded and proceeded to head to the light switch.
The room instantly turned dark before Mister Thomas put a movie on the projector. I leaned back in my chair and stared at the screen with my arms crossed. I could see from the side of my eye Jace already lying his head in his arms and Lucas trying to discreetly look at his phone, I knew he was definitely reading something questionable on the internet.
The movie was actually pretty interesting, It was about the First World War from the prospective of a solider. Writing an essay about it wouldn’t be difficult but I was left clues on how I was supposed to relate it to my own life, I guess waking up every morning for school made me feel as if I was heading off to a war zone. I snickered and leaned even further back in my chair but suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my head. freewebnσvel.cøm
"Mn" I groaned feeling as if i was poked in the brain and closed my eyes before reaching up and rubbing my temple.
’Damn’ I muttered while rubbing in a small circle for couple of seconds before I opened my eyes again.
The second I did my entire body froze.
’W~what the fuck?’ Right in front of my eyes was a rectangular screen about two length that was light blue in color.
’Am I hallucinating?’ I blinked in pure confusion and turned my gaze toward the people around me.
Everyone was either watching the movie or slacking off with normal expressions, They obviously didn’t see anything which made me think i indeed was hallucinating. I looked back forward once again seeing the blue screen right in front of my eyes, Even in the dark room it was easy to see and there was a string of words right in the center.
