Chapter 396: Chapter 396: Don’t Talk to Me About That Bitch
Once Henry Hartwell had the camera set up, Claire Sinclair began the interview.
"Sheila Judd, do you hate your sister?"
"Hah..." Sheila Judd scoffed, spitting on the floor.
Good thing Claire Sinclair was in the interrogation room, or that glob of spit would have surely landed on her.
"Who the hell are you? Why should I answer you?"
"I’m your mommy," Claire Sinclair said with a humorless smile.
"You’re sick..." Sheila Judd cursed, then said nothing more.
Claire Sinclair continued, "I’ve looked through the private photo album on your sister’s social media page and downloaded a few pictures."
As she spoke, she pulled several photos from a file folder and showed them to Sheila Judd one by one.
They were all photos of Yvonne Judd and Sheila Judd together, looking close. In every picture, the two girls were smiling happily, their eyes pure and free of any guile.
The moment Sheila Judd saw the photos, she flew into a rage. Gripping the bars of the window, she roared, "Rip them up! Don’t make me look at that bitch! Rip them up, now!"
Claire Sinclair was unfazed. Her expression didn’t change as she said, "Right before the incident, your sister made a post asking what flavor of cake she should get to celebrate your 18th birthday."
"Shut up! Don’t talk to me about that bitch!"
Claire Sinclair ignored her and continued, "And the day before that, her post read, ’Sheila, I swear I saw him getting a room with another girl. They were really kissing. Why don’t you believe me?’ The ’him’ she was talking about... it’s this guy, isn’t it?"
With that, Claire Sinclair produced another photo—it showed a clean-cut young man locked in a passionate kiss with a girl.
At the sight of this photo, a flicker of emotion finally crossed Sheila Judd’s eyes. It started as disbelief, which was then replaced by anguish, but she remained silent.
Claire Sinclair pulled out another photo. It showed the same boy and girl from before, naked in a hotel room and engaged in an indescribable act.
"Your sister wasn’t lying. Your boyfriend really did cheat on you. But you didn’t believe her. You even suspected she liked him too and was using what you saw as despicable tactics to break the two of you up."
Sheila Judd bit her lip, still not saying a word.
Claire Sinclair then produced another picture, though this time it was just a screenshot.
It was a screenshot of a WeChat conversation between two users, "Yuyu" and "Meimei."
Yuyu: Baby, don’t be mad. I broke up with her a long time ago.
Meimei: You’re lying! I saw you holding her hand just yesterday! And you even gave her a hair clip!
Yuyu: You idiot. If I didn’t give her the hair clip, who would give us spending money? Her dumb sister has more money than sense. All I have to do is say I’m short on cash, and she immediately runs to her sister to ask for money...
The conversation was long.
Sheila Judd read through the entire thing before she realized it, her face turning ashen.
Claire Sinclair said, "I understand why your sister was so good to you. Our experiences are very similar. I also grew up in a family that lacked affection, and I desperately craved their love and care, but I never received it. That’s why your sister placed all her hopes in you.
She saw you as her whole world, but because of your own selfishness, you constantly misunderstood her. You even used her as a punching bag, inflicting all of your own inner anguish on her.
She would have torn out her own heart for you, and in return, you were nothing but cruel and ungrateful. In the end, you even called over your low-life friends and did something monstrous to her. You filmed the whole thing without flinching, and in the end, you killed her."
