Chapter 383: Chapter 383: The Astonishing Truth
Harrison Lynch said he had found crucial evidence at West Suburbs Park and urged her to come over at once.
The drive took nearly 40 minutes, and Claire Sinclair finally arrived at West Suburbs Park.
When she arrived, she saw Harrison Lynch’s portly frame slumped on the grass from a distance, and she couldn’t tell what he was doing.
Claire Sinclair walked over and asked, "President Lynch, what are you doing?"
Harrison Lynch flinched and slowly turned his head. "Reporter Sinclair," he said, his voice hoarse, "I found the hair clip I gave Yvonne."
As he spoke, he held up a tarnished silver hair clip and slowly got to his feet.
Claire Sinclair frowned. "A hair clip isn’t enough to be used as evidence."
"..." Disappointment filled Harrison Lynch’s eyes.
Claire Sinclair added, "President Lynch, let’s find a place to sit down. Tell me everything you know."
Harrison Lynch nodded, and they moved to a quiet bench in the park.
As soon as they sat down, Harrison Lynch began to speak, recounting everything he knew in detail.
According to Harrison Lynch, Yvonne Judd was just a high school student he had met by chance. He knew he shouldn’t harbor improper feelings for a minor, but he couldn’t control himself and fell for her at first sight.
However, Yvonne Judd was so kind and innocent that he never dared to voice his sordid thoughts. Instead, he fabricated a lie, telling her he was her late father’s former boss.
Their relationship remained platonic and harmonious, like that of a father and daughter. They never crossed any boundaries.
Then one day, Yvonne Judd discovered his lie and wanted to break off all contact with him. However, his wife, Mrs. Carson, found out about them and beat Yvonne up.
After that, they cut off all contact. But Harrison Lynch could never forget her. For the sake of his family, he resisted the urge to seek her out.
That is, until one day, Harrison Lynch received a call for help from her. She said she was being followed and was terrified. Suddenly, she screamed, and the call disconnected. When he tried calling her back, the line was dead.
After that, Yvonne Judd vanished completely from his life.
But a month later, Yvonne Judd suddenly called him for help, crying that she no longer wanted to live.
Harrison Lynch was terrified. He rushed to the hospital rooftop that very night, and it was there that he finally heard the brutal truth from her...
It turned out that on the night she disappeared, she had been dragged into this very park by several thugs and gang-raped. She had become pregnant, but she didn’t know who the father was and couldn’t even remember everyone who had assaulted her.
Yvonne Judd was in absolute despair, crying and wanting to die. Fortunately, Harrison Lynch managed to talk her down and stayed by her side, never leaving her for a moment.
Unfortunately, this peace was short-lived. Soon, his wife tracked them down, beat Yvonne Judd up again, and threatened to expose her on the internet for being a pregnant mistress.
His wife didn’t know that Yvonne Judd had been raped, but the threat was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
In the end, Yvonne Judd couldn’t withstand the pressure and committed suicide. Harrison Lynch’s wife later learned the truth and, consumed by guilt, divorced him.
After Yvonne Judd’s death, her adoptive parents confronted Harrison Lynch, demanding compensation. They also fabricated and spread rumors online, claiming he kept multiple mistresses...
Of course, Harrison Lynch refused to pay. He remembered Yvonne Judd telling him that her adoptive parents treated her horribly and were often abusive.
Then, sometime later, he accidentally overheard her adoptive parents reveal a shocking truth.
