Chapter 615: Chapter 348: Giant Dragon Corpse in the Starry Sky (Double Length)
Then, he entered the Starry Dragon City.
This Starry Dragon City, although simplistic, still had the same large gate restrictions as before.
However, these restrictions clearly couldn’t stop Rogel nowadays, as he could easily enter without needing any bloodline verification.
Upon entering the Starry Dragon City, Rogel released his spiritual power once more, quickly taking in everything around him.
With a shift in movement, Rogel appeared beneath the central tower of the Starry Dragon City.
There, the area was also filled with some Starry Parasites.
But Rogel had no time to deal with them, and with a thought, a black terror emerged, devouring them one by one.
Meanwhile, Rogel’s attention was fixed on the corpse of the giant dragon coiled around the tower.
Giant Dragon Corpse
Explanation: A giant dragon corpse tainted and killed by unknown forces.
After investigating, Rogel confirmed the identity of this corpse.
It was indeed the Giant Dragon Artisan "Brickmo" that Uvie Muzhe had previously mentioned.
It seemed his direction was correct, but Brickmo had perished under the starry erosion.
Apart from Brickmo, a dragon egg was also placed inside the tower.
However, this dragon egg, like Brickmo, had lost its vitality and was already lifeless.
This caused Rogel to furrow his brow slightly.
Moments later, he sighed softly, "Let’s give it a try, hope your soul hasn’t completely faded away."
He planned to use the Secret Technique of spirit summoning.
This also came from Doyle; his methods were indeed quite useful at times.
For Rogel, barely enhancing it with his own power or the Power of Faith could have a huge impact.
Rogel’s body slowly rose, approaching the dragon corpse of Brickmo, extending a Black Tide tendril to lightly tap the almost decomposed dragon skull.
Moments later, faint radiance circulated, and scattered soul fragments began to gather.
This made Rogel sigh slightly with relief; such a reaction naturally indicated the success of the secret technique, showing that Brickmo’s soul hadn’t wholly dissipated.
Shortly thereafter, under the reinforcement of Rogel’s power, Brickmo’s soul was temporarily reshaped by Rogel.
"Brickmo,"
Rogel called out.
Upon hearing his voice, Brickmo’s soul state consciousness gradually awoke, eventually gaining some awareness after a period of confusion.
"Who are you? Where am I..."
Brickmo’s response was very weak, his voice laced with confusion.
Rogel briefly explained his origins and purposes, and then directly asked, "Brickmo, why did Dragon Village command the second batch of giant dragons to guard the Starry Dragon City in space?"
He wanted to understand what changes had occurred among them.
"...I don’t know." Brickmo’s soul was unstable, and his voice also extremely weary, "...The Ancient Dragon Nest’s summon order was very urgent."
It seemed there was an emergency...
Brickmo clearly knew little, so Rogel no longer expected to glean the truth from him.
"...Where is the Starry Dragon City guarded by your Dragon Village Clan Leader?"
Rogel inquired.
He planned to directly visit the Starry Dragon City where the Dragon Village Clan Leader was situated, hoping it might provide him with some crucial information and clues.
Of course, that depended on Brickmo knowing the location.
Unfortunately, it was evident he was unsure.
However, Brickmo seemed to regain a bit of clarity and said, "...I do not know the Clan Leader’s location, but when I first entered the starry sky, this tower emitted a pull, guiding me over there..."
After speaking, Brickmo pointed out a direction for Rogel.
Upon listening, Rogel nodded, quietly gazing at him.
"Thank you, Brickmo."
Hearing Rogel’s words, Brickmo paused slightly, later realizing something and chuckled bitterly, "...No problem, if it’s possible, could I trouble you Rogel..."
Brickmo seemed to have something to say.
But he hesitated for half a beat without figuring it out, ultimately only capable of sighing.
"...Please pass my Dragon Fang to my son..."
Rogel nodded, stepped forward, removed a dragon fang from the dragon corpse and stowed it away.
"Thank you..."
Upon finishing his words, Brickmo’s soul turned his sight away, gazing at the silent starry sky and gradually fading into invisibility.
When Rogel mentioned coming to the starry sky, Brickmo’s eyes were filled with hope.
However, his hope was destined to go unanswered...
Rogel remained silent momentarily, then gazed in the direction pointed by Brickmo.
For Brickmo, a guard of the hurried empty city, to not know its news was indeed normal.
Luckily, he provided Rogel with some information, although it’s uncertain if this is the right direction, Rogel planned to check it out anyway.
After all, if he didn’t head in this direction, Rogel would only return to the Main World, seek the location of other Starry Dragon Cities and make the journey once again, quite troublesome.
Rogel began advancing directly.
To conserve energy, he didn’t even use the Authority of Mystery’s teleportation ability.
This allowed Rogel to observe the environment of the starry sky in detail.
Initially, he thought the starry sky should contain some unique creatures.
However, as it turns out, he was mistaken.
The entire starry sky seemed boundless and limitless.
Yet, within this vast space, there was no adornment, every inch revealed lifelessness, coldness, and darkness, causing immense oppression.
Most importantly, life seemed extinct here.
Forget about special species; even creatures like Starry Parasites were unseen by Rogel.
"Looks like only the surroundings of Starry Dragon City have those things... is it the handiwork of Extreme Night Stars?"
Rogel pondered.
This journey was exceedingly long.
Yet, Rogel wasn’t bored, as he simultaneously rushed and monitored the situation within the faith territory.
Thus, time gradually passed.
Some time later, Rogel finally halted amidst the vast starry sky.
"I’ve arrived."
Rogel gazed ahead.
It was an exceptionally grand Starry Dragon City, floating in the air, fortified with high walls, its interior housing magnificent palaces with numerous Judgment Eyes silently levitating.
Regardless of its grandeur or internal structure, this was an exceptionally unique Starry Dragon City.
"Lulululu..."
A distinct starry creature beside him confirmed Rogel’s thoughts directly.
This seemed to be another Starry Parasite, but pieced together like multiple ones into a stronger entity, and not just one.
Rogel glanced over, his body utterly motionless.
The Black Tide emerged from the air, Nuduri’s Prison Lock blasted forth, under Rogel’s control, clattering the monsters into submission and destruction.
These monsters merely looked threatening yet were simply a finger-lift’s task for Rogel.
Though he had no intention to lift a finger unless necessary, saving energy whenever possible.
After resolving the monsters encircling the Starry Dragon City, Rogel directly approached the massive portal of the Starry Dragon City.
On both sides of the massive portal sat a giant dragon statue.
Glimpsing at the verification black stones in the air, Rogel withdrew his gaze.
He intended to go in directly.
Yet, just as he approached the massive portal, the giant dragon statues on both sides suddenly trembled, their stone shells shattering, unexpectedly coming to life!
"Roar——" A colossal roar almost formed sound waves with destructive force.
"Just the guardian statues possess angelic strength... seems my direction is correct."
To this, Rogel appeared unfazed, even boldly surveying the two statues with spiritual power.
The Dragon Village Clan Leader should be guarding within this Starry Dragon City.
Bang——
As Rogel contemplated, a gigantic dragon claw slammed where he had just stood.
Rogel was about to dismantle these entities but suddenly frowned slightly, withdrawing his hand.
These giant dragon statues were formidable combat power, dismantling them was truly a shame, taking them back to Dragon Village would be a fine choice.
With this thought, Rogel called forth Nuduri’s Prison Lock once more, swiftly soaring toward the two dragons.
A cacophony erupted and the two giant dragon statues were firmly bound, their struggles futile.
