Chapter 52: Chapter 51: Profound Tier Upper Grade Martial Technique, Profound Ice Break

Of course, this was an unfair match. But it wasn’t unfair for Tang Yi—it was for Tang Mingtian.

Tang Yi had spent three days slaying Demon Beasts in the Wind Moon Forest. His Level had already reached that of a Five-star Battle Spirit. How could he possibly be the same minor Battle Master he once was?

How could a mere Battle Grandmaster like Tang Mingtian possibly be Tang Yi’s opponent now?

Twenty Tang Mingtians wouldn’t be a match for Tang Yi, let alone the single one standing before him!

So, when Tang Mingtian threw a punch, Tang Yi neither dodged nor evaded. He simply extended two fingers and flicked them lightly against Tang Mingtian’s fist.

BANG!

An immense force sent Tang Mingtian flying backward.

He flew several meters before barely managing to stop himself right at the edge of the Martial Arts Arena, landing hard on the floor.

"Impossible!"

Tang Mingtian scrambled up from the floor, staring at Tang Yi in horror, his eyes filled with utter disbelief.

But the waves of numbness and pain radiating from his fist, combined with the fact that he had been sent flying several meters by a mere flick from Tang Yi, all told Tang Mingtian that this was no illusion!

Tang Yi had truly used just two fingers to shatter his punch—a punch containing fifty percent of his Power—and the resulting force had even sent him flying several meters away!

He was a Two-star Battle Grandmaster, for crying out loud!

Even though he had only used fifty percent of his Power and no Martial Techniques, it was still a blow that no ordinary Battle Master should have been able to Resist!

Yet Tang Yi hadn’t just blocked it; he had done so with only two fingers!

It was as if it had taken no effort at all.

The scene left Tang Mingtian utterly astonished. ’When did Tang Yi get so strong?!’ he wondered.

It wasn’t just Tang Mingtian who was shocked. Below the arena, the Tang Family Members were all staring at Tang Yi with wide eyes, their jaws hanging open wide enough to fit an apple. They were all completely dumbfounded by Tang Yi’s move.

"Isn’t... isn’t Tang Yi a Battle Master? When did he get so powerful?"

"I’m a Battle Master too, so why is there such a world of difference between our strengths?"

"The power Tang Yi just displayed is impossible for a Battle Master. He must have already advanced to Battle Grandmaster."

"It’s only been three days! From Battle Master to Battle Grandmaster? Are you kidding me?"

"Even a Battle Grandmaster isn’t that strong! Don’t forget, Tang Yi just used two fingers—two fingers!—to send Tang Mingtian, a Battle Grandmaster, flying!"

"And it was a head-on clash, a flick right against Tang Mingtian’s fist! This isn’t the same as just being sent flying; this is a complete domination of strength!"

"No, I don’t believe it. The useless Tang Yi from before could never be this strong. How could his power possibly crush Tang Mingtian, our Tang Family’s number one genius? You could beat me to death and I still wouldn’t believe it!"

"I don’t believe it either! It must have been a fluke, or maybe Tang Yi used some kind of trick. Or perhaps Tang Mingtian let him do it on purpose, just to make Tang Yi’s loss less embarrassing!"

"That’s right! Tang Mingtian must have held back. He was going easy on Tang Yi, that’s why he was sent flying!"

"..."

No one believed that Tang Yi’s strength could have reached such an astonishing level in just three days. So, one after another, they all dismissed his display of power, concluding it was either a coincidence or that Tang Mingtian was intentionally going easy on him.

On the high platform, the Elders were even more stirred, rushing to the railing with shocked expressions. Their own power was greater than that of ordinary disciples, so they could see things more clearly.

They knew it was a complete domination—a suppression born from absolute power. Although Tang Yi had only used a two-fingered flick, the force behind it was far stronger than Tang Mingtian’s punch. That was why he had been sent flying.

However, they also saw that Tang Mingtian had only used fifty percent of his power. This didn’t necessarily mean Tang Mingtian couldn’t beat Tang Yi.

What truly startled the Elders was that the power Tang Yi had displayed already surpassed the level of a Battle Master.

"I never thought Tang Yi would advance from a Battle Master to a Battle Grandmaster in such a short time. No wonder, no wonder he dared to fight Tang Mingtian," one Elder said, a look of sudden realization on his face.

"Now things are getting interesting. With two Battle Grandmasters, it’s anyone’s guess who will win or lose," Elder Tree Man chimed in with a grin.

’The more uncertain the outcome, the more I stand to gain. If Tang Yi actually wins, I’ll clean up on this bet!’

"It seems our Tang Family is destined for prosperity! To think that two geniuses have appeared in this generation, both advancing to Battle Grandmaster at such a young age. If we let them grow, their promotion to Battle Spirit or even Battle King will be just around the corner!" another Elder exclaimed, his eyes filled with endless anticipation, as if he could already see the Tang Family’s bright future.

"Congratulations, Clan Leader!" an Elder said, cupping his fists.

The other Elders quickly followed suit, cupping their hands and congratulating Tang Haotian.

"This is a joyous occasion for the Tang Family, a joyous occasion indeed," Tang Haotian said modestly, waving his hand.

’As Tang Yi’s father, seeing him perform so exceptionally well filled me with immense joy. It brought glory to my name as well. Who wouldn’t want a son who could bring honor to the Clan?’

’I don’t know why Tang Yi’s strength has improved so quickly, but who doesn’t have a secret or two?’

’Perhaps this is some kind of fortuitous encounter he had!’

"Hmph!"

Seeing the other Elders congratulate Tang Haotian, the Seventh Elder let out a cold snort, clearly displeased.

The thought of his own grandson, killed by Tang Yi, now suffering as a wretched ghost in the Underworld, while Tang Yi grew stronger and gained more glory by the day... the stark contrast made him burn with resentment.

As he stewed in his thoughts, the Seventh Elder’s eyes darted about, a dark glint flashing within them as he made a decision.

The duel on the Martial Arts Arena continued...

"I don’t know how you did that, but I was only using fifty percent of my power just now. You’d better be careful!" Tang Mingtian declared, refusing to accept defeat.

"Then bring it on. Attack me with your full strength!" Tang Yi said with a smile, his expression nonchalant. He was actually starting to feel a bit sleepy and wanted to end the match quickly so he could go back to bed.

"Fine! Then I’ll let you witness our Tang Family’s Profound Tier Upper Grade Martial Technique! I’ll show you what I’m truly capable of!"

As he spoke, Tang Mingtian brought his hands together and began muttering some unknown words. Then, he gripped his right wrist with his left hand and drew his right fist back slightly. Visible to the naked eye, streams of white Energy began to converge from his body into his right fist.

In the next moment, Tang Mingtian’s right fist was covered in a hazy white light.

"DIE!"

"Profound Ice Break!"

Tang Mingtian roared, raising his large, white-light-wreathed fist, and charged at Tang Yi, unleashing the deadly punch.
