Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Doubling Down**

Clara woke to the sensation of lips on her neck.

"Mmmm..." She stirred, her eyes fluttering open, and felt Lucian’s warm mouth trailing down the side of her throat. His fangs grazed her skin — not biting, just teasing — sending shivers down her spine.

"Again?" she murmured, her voice husky with sleep.

"You said different positions." His breath was hot against her collarbone. "We still have a few to go."

Clara laughed softly, then gasped as his mouth found her breast again, tongue swirling around her already sensitive nipple. frёewebηovel.cѳm

"Ahhhhnnn... you’re insatiable..."

"You made me this way."

He sucked hard, and Clara’s back arched off the mattress, her hand flying to his hair. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

"Hahhh... Lucian..."

Clara sat on the edge of the bed, legs dangling, watching as Lucian stood in front of her. His body was pale and sculpted in the dim light — lean muscle, silver hair falling across his forehead.

He stepped between her legs.

Clara looked up at him, her hands resting on his thighs, her crimson eyes dark with desire. Slowly, deliberately, she leaned forward and took him into her mouth.

"Mmmmm..."

"Aaahhh..."

She worked him with her tongue — licking, swirling, sucking — her hands gripping his hips for balance. Lucian’s fingers tangled in her blonde hair, guiding her rhythm, pushing deeper.

"Schlick... schlick... mmmmph..."

"Hahhh... Clara... that’s..."

She pulled back with a wet pop, lips glistening, and looked up at him through her lashes.

"Sit down."

Lucian sat on the edge of the bed. Clara straddled him, facing him, her knees on either side of his hips. She reached down and positioned him at her entrance, already slick and ready from his earlier attention.

"Ready?"

"Always."

She sank down.

"AAAAAHHHHN—!"

The angle was different — deeper than before, hitting spots that made Clara see stars. She bottomed out, her thighs trembling, and paused to adjust.

"Hahhh... hahhh... you’re so deep..."

She started to move.

Slowly at first — rising up until only the tip remained inside, then sinking back down with a wet schlick. Each movement sent pleasure radiating outward from her core, building like waves in a storm.

"Aahhh... ahhhh... Lucian..."

Lucian’s hands found her breasts, cupping them, thumbs rolling her nipples as she rode him. Clara’s head fell back, her blonde hair cascading down her spine, her hips finding a rhythm that made them both gasp.

"Pam... pam... pam..."

"Faster," Lucian growled.

Clara obeyed.

"PAM. PAM. PAM. PAM."

"Aaaahhhhh— hahhhnnn—"

The bed creaked beneath them. Clara’s moans filled the room — raw, unrestrained, echoing off the walls. Lucian’s hands slid from her breasts to her hips, gripping tight, helping her move, pulling her down harder with each stroke.

"AAAAAHHHH— I’m close—"

"Me too—"

"PAM. PAM. PAM. PAM. PAM."

Clara slammed down one final time and shattered.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH—!"

Her walls clamped around him, pulsing, milking, and Lucian groaned as he erupted inside her — hot seed flooding her core for the third time that night. Clara’s body shook through the aftershocks, her hips grinding in small circles, prolonging the pleasure until she collapsed against his chest.

"Hahhh... hahhh... hahhh..."

Lucian wrapped his arms around her, both of them trembling.

They changed positions again.

Clara lay on her side, one leg raised, Lucian behind her, his chest pressed against her back. He entered her from this angle and Clara’s eyes rolled back.

"Oh god— ahhhhnnn—"

This was different. Intimate. Lucian’s lips found the back of her neck, kissing, sucking, as his hips moved in a slow, grinding rhythm. One hand reached around to cup her breast, the other slid down to her clit.

"Hahhh... Lucian... that feels..."

"Schlick... schlick... schlick..."

He rubbed her clit in tight circles as he thrust, each movement synchronized — in, rub, out, rub — building a pleasure that was almost unbearable in its intensity.

"Aaaahhhnnn... don’t stop— don’t—"

"Pam... pam... pam..."

Clara’s leg trembled. Her hand reached back, grabbing Lucian’s hip, pulling him deeper.

"Harder—"

He gave her harder.

"PAM. PAM. PAM. PAM."

"AAAAAHHHHHH—!"

She came again — not as explosive as before, but deeper, a rolling wave of pleasure that made her entire body clench and shudder. Lucian followed seconds later, burying himself to the hilt and filling her once more.

"Hahhh... hahhh..."

Lucian stood at the edge of the bed, Clara’s legs wrapped around his waist, her back pressed against the wall. Her arms were around his neck, her blonde hair stuck to her sweaty forehead, her crimson eyes hazy with exhaustion and pleasure.

"How many times is this?" she breathed.

"Lost count."

He thrust upward.

"AAAAAHHHHN—!"

This position was deep. Clara could feel him in her stomach, stretching her to her limit, hitting places that made her vision blur. Her legs tightened around him, pulling him closer, deeper, more.

"PAM. PAM. PAM. PAM."

"Aahhh... ahhhh... Lucian— "

He increased his pace, slamming into her with vampiric strength that would have broken a normal human. The wall cracked behind Clara’s back. Plaster dust rained down on their shoulders.

"AAAAAHHHHHH—"

"PAM. PAM. PAM. PAM. PAM."

"Hahhhnnn— hahhh— I’m—"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH—!"

They crashed over the edge together — Clara screaming, Lucian groaning, their bodies locked together as the orgasms ripped through them simultaneously. Clara’s nails carved gouges in his shoulders that healed before the blood could flow.

Lucian’s legs gave out.

They slid down the wall together, collapsing in a tangled heap on the floor, the blanket that had been on the bed now wrapped around them both.

Silence.

Heavy breathing. Thundering heartbeats. The creak of settling plaster.

Clara lay sprawled across Lucian’s chest, too exhausted to move, her body still trembling with aftershocks. Lucian stared at the ceiling, one arm around her, his chest rising and falling rapidly.

"Lucian," Clara whispered.

"Yeah?"

"I can’t feel my legs."

He laughed.

Clara lifted her head and looked at him. His silver hair was a mess, his pale skin flushed pink, his crimson eyes soft and unguarded.

She’d never seen him look like this. Vulnerable. Human.

"I love you," she said.

The words came out before she could stop them.

Lucian’s laughter faded. He looked at her — really looked — and for a moment, something shifted in his crimson eyes.

Then he kissed her forehead.

"I know."

Clara frowned. "That’s not—"

"Clara." His voice was quiet. "I’m not good at this. I don’t know what love is supposed to feel like. But I know that when you kissed me before the helicopter, I wanted to survive. And when I thought you might die from the virus, I—" He stopped. His jaw tightened. "I turned you because I couldn’t let you go. That’s not love. That’s selfishness."

Clara stared at him.

Then she smacked his chest.

"Ow."

"You idiot." Her eyes were wet. "That is love. Wanting someone to live so badly you’d break every rule to keep them. That’s the most Lucian thing you could possibly do."

She rested her head back on his chest.

"So shut up and hold me."

Lucian was quiet for a long moment.

Then his arms tightened around her.

"Okay."

They lay there on the floor of the dusty bedroom, wrapped in a blanket, the world ending around them, and for a little while, neither of them thought about zombies or viruses or the apocalypse.

Just this.

Just them.
