Chapter 1758: Chapter 957: Correlon’s Defeat (Part 2)

The two tentacles, carrying a chilling aura of evil, reached straight for the arrow burning with blazing Sun Fire.

The arrow was like a meteor slicing through the darkness, carrying scorching brilliance and endless majesty, shooting directly towards Demogorgon.

Soon, the arrow fiercely struck Demogorgon’s tentacles.

Boom!

In an instant, a deafening and violent explosion resounded.

It was as if Correlon’s furious roar echoed.

The thick tentacles, in the Sun Fire erupting from the arrow, were torn and melted continuously, like paper burned by fiery fire.

The Sun Fire burned fiercely, emitting dazzling light, illuminating everything around as if it were broad daylight.

The evil aura on the tentacles sizzled under the burning of the Sun Fire, as if wailing in pain.

However, that arrow was just that.

The originally blazing Sun Fire was gradually extinguished under the direct erosion of Abyss Power.

Although Demogorgon’s two tentacles were completely destroyed in this fierce confrontation, it seemed utterly unconcerned.

There was no hint of pain on its hideous face; instead, there was a crazed and excited smile.

It seemed that the pain of being burned by the Sun Fire stimulated Demogorgon’s inner madness even more.

Demogorgon let out a world-shattering roar, echoing in the plane like the howl of a magic beast.

Subsequently, Demogorgon charged fiercely towards Correlon with a momentum of destruction.

At the same time, the surrounding Abyss Power seemed to respond to Demogorgon’s call, rapidly converging towards it.

This Abyss Power surged like a black tide, carrying an endless aura of evil and destruction.

It continuously poured into Demogorgon’s body, replenishing the consumed strength.

Under the supplementation of Abyss Power, the two tentacles destroyed by Correlon were reborn at an incredible speed.

The new tentacles were thicker than before; the strange patterns on them were clearer, exuding an even more terrifying aura.

Demogorgon’s reborn tentacles waved in the air, making a whizzing sound, as if demonstrating against Correlon.

Its blood-red eyes flashed with madness, staring intently at Correlon, as if wanting to devour him alive.

What?!

Correlon looked at this scene, somewhat in disbelief.

This was an attack that cost most of His divine power!

Originally, Correlon wanted to severely injure Demogorgon with this attack.

Though defeating Demogorgon was difficult, it should have been possible to restrain the enemy to buy time to leave.

After all, His Sun Fire was quite effective against the Abyss Evil Gods.

But right before Correlon’s eyes, Demogorgon directly withstood His attack.

And seemingly, without causing any trouble for Demogorgon.

This situation was indeed beyond Correlon’s expectations.

Moreover, it didn’t even hinder Demogorgon’s momentum towards Him.

For Correlon, after launching that arrow just now, in an instant, He had neither the time nor the strength to evade Demogorgon.

Demogorgon, like a black lightning bolt, instantly arrived beside Correlon.

His enormous body was covered with densely packed, wriggling tentacles on the back.

These tentacles seemed to have gained life, twisting madly, and with an extremely rapid and forceful manner, tightly wrapped around Correlon’s body.

Each tentacle was like a thick rope, binding Correlon tightly, rendering him immobile.

Meanwhile, Demogorgon’s head, as hideous and savage as an ape, suddenly raised.

Its blood-filled mouth opened wide, revealing sharp, chillingly glinting tusks.

Without hesitation, it bit fiercely into Correlon’s neck, the sharp tusks instantly piercing Correlon’s body.

"Ugh~"

Correlon was caught completely off guard; He never expected Demogorgon to attack so suddenly and swiftly.

At the moment when He was subdued by Demogorgon, He instinctively tried to break free.

Nonetheless, Demogorgon’s overpowering strength made Correlon’s struggle so futile.

Just as Correlon was about to gather strength to escape again, He suddenly felt an extremely terrifying power, flowing rapidly into His body from the neck where Demogorgon had bitten.

This power carried a chilling sense of oppression, pressing down on Him like the weight of a world.

This terrifying power ran rampant within Correlon, quickly eroding His body like a gale sweeping over fallen leaves.

Correlon only felt as if His body was pierced simultaneously by countless fine needles, unbearably painful.

What frightened Him even more was that the divine power within, containing His fundamental strength, unexpectedly showed fear when it came into contact with this terrifying power.

As if encountering a natural enemy, it started shaking uncontrollably, withdrawing.

For a moment, Correlon felt as though His body no longer belonged to Him.

He found His body unresponsive, even unable to self-destruct.

Meanwhile, Demogorgon did not stop the assault due to Correlon’s lack of resistance.

It continuously bit into Correlon’s body, leaving shocking wounds all over Correlon.

Only when Correlon was completely deprived of the strength to resist did Demogorgon cease its attack, tightly binding Correlon at its back with tentacles.

"This is power that should never belong to you!"

"Damn you, I will utterly destroy you soon enough!"

Having lost the power to resist, Correlon never harbored thoughts of pleading.

Although the loss of this avatar was painful, it wasn’t enough to make Correlon bow before Demogorgon.

Isn’t it just losing an avatar, the future is long?

"Hehehe..."

Demogorgon looked at Correlon with eyes full of extreme madness and violence, but forcibly restrained the desire to tear Correlon apart.

"Who knows if you’ll have another chance?"

"You really made me put in some effort!"

Noticing the malicious and dangerous gaze of Demogorgon, Correlon felt a chill spreading throughout His body.

What’s going on here?

Correlon did not understand why Demogorgon wouldn’t just kill Him outright.

What did this guy, Demogorgon, want to do?

But Demogorgon paid no mind to Correlon’s thoughts; it turned and looked towards the distant Dark Lord and other Evil Gods.

"Gentlemen, a pleasure working with you."

"You should never trust a despicable fellow like you!"

The Minotaur King Baphomet said angrily, two jets of hot air spouting from his nostrils.

"I thought you wouldn’t be surprised."

Demogorgon said, smiling.

"Demogorgon, what exactly have you done?"

The Dark Lord spoke simultaneously.

He was a thinker.

Demogorgon did something that actually summoned the direct arrival of the Abyss Will.

And, Demogorgon seemed capable of directly borrowing the power of the Abyss Will.

That can’t be possible!

Demons aren’t just Demogorgon, yet such a thing had never been heard of before.

The Dark Lord couldn’t figure it out, but He was acutely aware of the danger Demogorgon posed now.

The Endless Abyss Will to them—the Evil Gods—though a source of power, was also an object of reverence and watchfulness.

If someone could control the Endless Abyss Will, He would be the unquestionable ruler of the Endless Abyss.

However, no one had ever achieved that.

Not even Great Divine Power could.

And now, in the Dark Lord’s view, Demogorgon seemed to have taken the first step.

This truly made the Dark Lord wary.

If He had known such a situation would arise, He wouldn’t have agreed with Demogorgon’s plan to unite against the Order Main God.

If only, in hindsight, He should have allied with the God of Dawn to eliminate Demogorgon earlier,

However, the Dark Lord recognized that this was merely a thought.

With Demogorgon’s nature, there surely wouldn’t be just this one plan.

It’s time to think of a strategy...
