Chapter 452: Chapter 307: Supreme Su Ze (2)

In their minds, their safety would be guaranteed as long as they could get back to the city.

And that was indeed the case. With so many refugees flooding into Vita City, they were bound to cause a commotion. Once the news got out, even the Evolution Divine Teachings would find it difficult to attack them in broad daylight.

Besides, the crucial factor was the group of refugees Mr. Ya was escorting. If the Evolution Divine Teachings failed to intercept that truck, then killing all the refugees here would be pointless.

Su Ze’s gaze swept over the refugees and landed on a sharp-looking young man. He took out a cell phone, handed it to him, and said, "On your way back, as soon as you get a signal, start a live stream immediately. Remember, don’t use a platform from Luofan Country. It’s best to choose one from Dongli or the Great Desert Kingdom."

The live stream would draw more public attention to the situation, making it even harder for the Evolution Divine Teachings to make a move.

The young man nodded repeatedly, committing Su Ze’s words to memory.

There were several transport trucks at the Evolution Divine Teachings’ stronghold, so Su Ze had the refugees board them and set off toward Vita City.

He sent a clone to escort the refugees to Vita City while his main body contacted Mr. Ya to determine his approximate location.

Mr. Ya had been waiting for Su Ze, so to speak, letting the truck travel at its normal speed without any "boosts." As a result, he wasn’t too far away, and Su Ze would be able to catch up quickly.

As the refugees were about to enter the city, they were obstructed and harassed by the Vita City guards.

The city guards were officials of Luofan Country, and since the government of Luofan Country was in cahoots with the Evolution Divine Teachings, they would naturally help cover up their crimes.

Su Ze took down the soldiers from a distance. Once the refugees were safely inside the city, he stopped paying attention and departed as a streak of green light.

...

The flying speed of a Venerable was an entire tier faster than that of the level below. In just a moment, Su Ze had caught up with Mr. Ya.

Mr. Ya was sitting on the roof of the transport truck’s cab, leisurely enjoying the breeze.

Su Ze slowly descended beside him. He was, of course, holding back, using his Flying Skill to support his weight. Otherwise, he was heavy enough to flatten the truck.

"Boss, you’re..." Mr. Ya’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the cyan light of evolution surrounding Su Ze.

’How has he been gone for just a short while and already completed his fifth evolution to become a Saint-level Venerable?’

Su Ze smiled. "I’ll explain later. For now, let’s give the truck a speed boost. I expect people from the Evolution Divine Teachings will be after us soon."

Their movements weren’t exactly covert. Sooner or later, the Evolution Divine Teachings would discover their location and catch up.

"Alright!" Mr. Ya nodded, then called out to the driver and refugees inside, "Everyone, hold on tight! We’re about to pick up speed!"

With that, he grabbed the transport truck with one hand, activated his Flying Skill, and lifted the entire vehicle into the air.

Just like that, he took flight, carrying the transport truck with a single hand.

Mr. Ya’s flying speed had always been exceptionally fast; even now that Su Ze was a Venerable, he was still slightly slower.

However, flying with such a behemoth, not to mention the twenty-plus people on board, significantly hampered his speed.

Su Ze didn’t offer to help. Even if he did, they couldn’t possibly out-speed a Venerable Powerhouse traveling light. It was only a matter of time before they were caught.

He was already prepared to be overtaken. Once the powerhouses from the Evolution Divine Teachings caught up, a major battle would be inevitable.

He urgently needed to increase his strength to prepare for the coming fight.

As a newly minted Venerable who had just completed his fifth evolution, Su Ze didn’t consider himself weak, but he wasn’t arrogant enough to think he was so powerful he could disregard other experts of the same rank.

After all, since becoming a Venerable, he hadn’t upgraded any skills or absorbed any extracts.

Making last-minute preparations wasn’t ideal, as improving one’s strength takes time. However, he happened to have items on hand that could offer a quick boost.

The Palm Bone Marvel could upgrade one of his skills.

The silver brick, condensed from Silver-gray Energy, could strengthen his physique and increase his size.

Both of these items could give him a significant power boost.

"Mr. Ya, I’m leaving things to you for a bit. I’m going to work on my recent gains," Su Ze said, sitting cross-legged on the truck’s roof, ready to absorb the two items as quickly as possible.

"Alright," Mr. Ya replied. He slowed down slightly to give Su Ze a more stable platform and positioned himself in front to shield him from the rushing wind.

"By the way," Su Ze suddenly recalled, "has the half Bloodline Crystal been extracted from the Invisibility Mushroom’s body yet?"

"It has. It was also half of a golden Bloodline Crystal. I’ve finished absorbing it. Now, my ’Void’ skill is finally complete," Mr. Ya said with a wide grin.

Su Ze nodded and said no more. He first took out the fifth-tier Palm Bone Marvel.

From his previous experience absorbing marvels to upgrade skills, he knew that each one required a special method of absorption.

And this method was often related to the skill it was meant to upgrade.

’Which of my skills will this Palm Bone Marvel upgrade?’

Su Ze pondered, trying to figure out which of his skills was compatible with the Palm Bone Marvel.

’This Palm Bone Marvel has three fingers, and each one stores an ability.’

’The known abilities are ’Shadow’ and ’Nether Fire,’ neither of which seems to match any of my skills. Could the key lie in the unknown third ability?’

He was about to test the ring finger’s ability when a flash of inspiration struck him... ’A single marvel that combines three skills... isn’t that remarkably similar to my "Strongest Punch" skill!’
