Chapter 725: Chapter 373: Vine Monster (Part 3)

A brilliant blue light flashed beneath Gauss.

Soon, his body suddenly vanished, and when he reappeared, he had already reached the "rear" of the Vine Monster.

Of course, this rear was not fixed, as the Vine Monster didn’t have a front or back in the animal sense.

As soon as he appeared, the Vine Monster seemed to be aware of his arrival.

But it was teleportation after all, and the speed of appearance was too fast.

It couldn’t react in time at all.

Meteora’s Sword appeared in Gauss’s hand, slicing off its faceless head.

Dark green sap gushed out like blood from a severed artery.

"Doesn’t look dead?"

Gauss didn’t see a prompt from the Monster Atlas appear.

He swiftly slashed a few more times.

But he originally didn’t intend to kill the target so quickly.

Aaliyah seemed to want to observe and study this plant demon.

The Life Force she released merged into the ground soil, contending against the power of the Vine Monster.

"Moonlight!"

The Wooden Staff in her hand released a silvery moonlight-like band, which shone on the Vine Monster, and wisps of smoke quickly rose from its surface.

Ying and Albena also rushed over.

Soon, the vines surrounding it were swiftly cut down.

It seemed to become increasingly furious, with the severed body vines growing quickly.

Every lashing of a vine could easily tear through the land.

The enormous trees around it, far larger than it, were fragile like paper under its furious lashes.

This is the terrifying aspect of a Commander Level demon.

At this level, no matter what type of demon it is, its destructive power becomes extremely terrifying.

It can completely destroy a village in just a few tens of seconds, and if there’s no Master Level professional guarding, even a town would be razed in a few minutes to ten minutes by such a terrifying creature.

Gauss sensed the Vine Monster’s aura, realizing that attacking its body would not cause it any harm.

After all, it’s not an animal.

Gauss’s gaze turned to the ground beneath it.

"Crash!!!"

Albena seized the opportunity, swinging a giant axe, completely severing the Vine Monster at the waist.

With an invisible shriek.

The Vine Monster crashed down, and within seconds, its whole body quickly withered and blackened, becoming entirely motionless.

"Is it dead?"

Albena frowned, feeling a bit unreal.

"No, it’s still alive."

Gauss and Aaliyah said simultaneously.

"You all step back a bit."

Seeing everyone retreat to a distance, Gauss silently cast a spell.

"Water Manipulation."

Gauss conjured a blue-gold water spear in his hand while swiftly activating Tier Two Ghost Transformation.

Ghost Energy wrapped around the water spear.

With a flash of blue light, his figure suddenly appeared dozens of meters in the air.

"Monster Strength Transformation!"

"Costume Change Magic."

As the Costume Change Magic removed his clothing, he simultaneously activated the Body Multiplication spell.

Instantly, his body swelled several times over, covered entirely in Ghost Transformation armor.

His physique ballooned from nearly six feet to three meters tall.

From a distance, Albena blinked, seeing this scene with both surprise and delight.

He was astonishingly taller than her.

In the air, Gauss grasped the comparatively smaller spear in his towering "Giantification" form, the accumulated strength in his body suddenly erupting.

"Boom!"

It was as if thunder descended from the heavens.

The water spear tore through the air.

Its rapid past velocity even caused the air to produce explosive sounds.

"Bang!!!!"

The incredibly sharp water spear plunged deep into the ground, its force extended to dozens of meters beneath the surface, then surged and erupted.

The ground shook twice like an earthquake.

"Huh!"

A mournful soul wave echoed in the air.

The Vine Monster, feigning death hidden deep underground, didn’t have time to relocate and was shot dead on the spot like a falling thunderbolt by the Meteora Ghost Transformation spear.

"Commander Level Demon Vine Monster *1 has been killed"

"Commander Points *20 received"

Seeing the prompt appear, Gauss’s face lit up with a satisfied smile.

The Vine Monster thought its feigned death had fooled them, not realizing Gauss had used his teammates’ attacks to lull it.

He quickly deactivated the Tier Two Ghost Transformation and Body Multiplication spell, while using Costume Change Magic to don his robe attire.

He teleported beside his comrades using a magic door spell.

"The mission target is dead."

He shared the information with his teammates.

He suddenly noticed Albena staring at him without blinking.

"What’s wrong?"

He looked down at his clothes, verifying he wasn’t naked, then asked.

"Lord Gauss, can you do it again?"

"Huh? Do what again?"

"Your Giantification ability, Lord Gauss, do you have giant bloodline, too?"

Seeing the excited Albena, Gauss scratched his head, realizing she might have misunderstood something.
