Chapter 674: Do Not Fight The Princess
Kaelvar stared at Alira in disbelief. "What do you mean, stronger than us? She’s still a kid."
Several others clearly agreed.
Iris crossed her arms. "Exactly. No matter how talented she is, she’s still just a child."
Alira sighed as if she had already expected this reaction. "Yeah, she is."
She glanced toward Giselle. "Unfortunately for all of you, she’s a God Gym kid."
The group fell silent.
Alira continued, "More importantly, she’s Garion’s daughter. Of course she’s stronger than you."
Feron’s mouth twitched. "That explanation doesn’t make sense."
"It will after you stay here long enough," Alira replied flatly.
She looked over the eight candidates again. "If we’re only talking about cultivation realm, then yes, some of you are higher than her."
Giselle immediately frowned.
Alira quickly added, "Don’t look at me like that. I’m talking about realm, not actual strength."
Giselle’s expression relaxed again.
Alira continued, "When it comes to real strength, though? She’s definitely stronger than all of you."
Azton narrowed his eyes. "You’re certain?"
Alira nodded and answered without hesitation. "I’ve seen it with my own eyes. If you don’t believe me, that’s fine. You’ll see it for yourselves later."
Varka’s grin widened. "Now I really want to test her."
Feron immediately looked at her. "Please don’t start a fight with the child in our first minute here."
Giselle tilted her head. "I don’t mind."
Feron’s expression stiffened.
Alira rubbed her forehead. "Enough."
She turned toward Giselle. "Giselle, these are the people joining the hidden ultimate training. Take them to your father."
Giselle looked over the eight newcomers again, then nodded seriously. "I see."
She turned around and waved one small hand. "Okay, new bugs. All of you, come with me."
Kaelvar’s mouth twitched again.
Iris looked openly annoyed.
Varka laughed loudly.
The rest simply stared at the little girl.
Giselle started walking toward the temporary base without waiting for anyone.
Alira watched the group and sighed. "Well? Go."
The eight candidates exchanged brief looks before finally following the little girl.
Alira joined them from behind as well.
She already had a bad feeling that this group was going to become a problem sooner or later, and Paren had specifically told her to stay nearby and keep an eye on things.
Knowing God Gym, that was probably the right decision.
---
As Giselle led the group toward God Gym’s temporary base, a familiar booming laugh suddenly came from ahead. "Hahaha! There you are!"
Everyone looked over.
Rovak was walking toward them with two other people beside him.
The moment he noticed Giselle, he raised one massive hand. "Little princess! I heard the people joining the hidden ultimate training were arriving today."
His eyes moved toward the group behind her. "Are these the ones?"
Giselle nodded proudly. "Yes, Uncle Rovak."
Rovak looked over the eight candidates one by one.
His grin slowly became strange. "Damn. There are five women here."
His eyes suddenly stopped on Varka.
Rovak froze.
A second later, both Drakhor grinned at the same time.
Rovak pointed at her. "There’s even another Drakhor here!"
Varka laughed. "What? Never seen a female Drakhor before?"
Rovak laughed even louder. "Of course I have! I’m just surprised one came all the way here for training."
His gaze moved across the rest of the group again. "Still, why are most of you women?"
Giselle tilted her head. "I don’t know."
She shrugged casually. "I don’t care either. They came here to train, so training is what they’ll get."
Rovak nodded as if that made perfect sense. "Good point."
He looked back at the group and grinned. "Alright, then. I’ll take them from here."
Giselle immediately nodded. "Okay."
She turned toward the eight candidates and pointed at Rovak. "Listen to Uncle Rovak."
Several expressions immediately changed.
Kaelvar looked slightly uneasy.
Azton became more cautious.
Feron’s mouth twitched.
Even Iris raised an eyebrow.
Varka, however, looked even more excited than before.
Giselle did not care about any of their reactions. She simply waved one small hand. "I’m going to play."
Rovak laughed. "Go ahead, little princess."
Giselle happily ran off, leaving the eight candidates behind with Rovak.
Rovak watched Giselle run away before turning back toward the group. "Alright, before we go meet Garion, there’s something else you should know."
He pointed toward the two people standing beside him. "These two are also joining you."
Everyone finally looked at them properly.
Slifera and Elisa looked half-dead.
Slifera’s metallic silver skin had lost some of its usual shine, the glowing blue energy patterns beneath his arms and neck were flickering weakly, and his expression made it look like he had not slept properly in days.
Elisa was in slightly better condition, but only slightly. Her long white hair was messy, her calm silver eyes looked exhausted, and even her normally graceful posture seemed strained.
The eight candidates stared at them.
Kaelvar blinked. "These two?"
Rovak burst out laughing. "Hahaha! Don’t worry too much about how they look. They’ve just been training hard these past few days so they can join the hidden ultimate training too."
Slifera slowly turned toward him. "Just... training?"
Rovak ignored him. "These two are my friends, Elisa and Slifera. Since I already went through the hidden ultimate training, how could I let them stay behind?"
His grin widened proudly. "Besides, the three of us were among the first people to know God Gym. Naturally, they got priority when it came to joining the hidden ultimate training."
No one seemed to hear the rest of his explanation.
Their attention remained fixed on Elisa and Slifera, and several expressions clearly darkened.
Erlin reacted the strongest.
Her calm eyes stayed fixed on Elisa.
As another member of the Moon Elf Race, she could immediately tell just how exhausted Elisa really was.
Erlin quietly asked, "What kind of training did she go through?"
Elisa slowly looked at her.
For a moment, neither Moon Elf said anything.
Slifera suddenly muttered, "Leave while you still can."
Rovak immediately slapped him on the shoulder.
BAM!
Slifera nearly collapsed.
Rovak laughed. "Hahaha! Ignore him. He’s just tired."
Everyone became even more cautious.
Rovak waved one massive hand. "Alright, enough standing around. Follow me. It’s time to meet Garion."
He started walking toward the temporary base, then glanced back at Alira. "You coming too?"
Alira nodded without hesitation. "Of course. Paren specifically told me not to let this group cause trouble."
Rovak looked over the eight candidates, then laughed. "Fine, fine. Come along."
The entire group followed him toward God Gym’s temporary base.
