Chapter 648: Alira’s Biggest Surprise Yet
Rovak had already healed quite a bit and finally managed to stand up, leaving the deep crater behind before sitting beside Garion. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
Garion looked at Rovak and grinned. "So, what kind of abilities did you use against me? Especially the one that made me so agitated."
Rovak was still breathing hard, but he grinned. "Oh, you mean [Drahm Khar], the roar ability I used?"
Garion nodded. "Yeah. And also those words. What did they mean?"
Rovak explained the first meaning calmly. "It means Blood Roar. Basically, when I roar, all blood on the battlefield answers me and returns to heal my body."
Then his grin widened as he continued. "At the same time, it disrupts the enemy’s blood, shakes their mind, and ignites their brutal battle instinct."
Garion rubbed his chin. "I see. So that’s the reason why I suddenly wanted to smash your skull."
Rovak laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Yeah! It drags out the violence inside the enemy. Some people panic, some go berserk, and some lose control." freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
Garion grinned weakly. "Yeah. Against normal people, that ability would be really disgusting. Then did you have another ability?"
Rovak grinned. "Yeah. Another one is [Gor Vrak], and it means Body of War."
He slapped his chest. "It means the more I fight, the stronger I become. The bloodier the battle gets and the more injuries I take, the more my body adapts."
Garion nodded slowly. "So it’s not just injury amplification."
Rovak shook his head. "Not really. It’s more like battle growth. Every wound teaches my body how to survive better. Every hit makes my body harder. Every clash sharpens my instincts."
Garion stared at him for a long moment before laughing. "Damn. Your divinity is basically all about fighting."
Rovak threw his head back and laughed too. "Hahaha! Of course it is!"
Garion shook his head. "And with that, you actually managed to almost push me."
Rovak’s grin became proud. "Almost beat you."
Garion laughed hard. "Don’t get too cocky, bastard. Almost is still almost."
Rovak chuckled. "Still, I made you use serious power."
Garion smiled and did not deny it. "Yeah. It was frightening. I’ve never seen someone at my level manage to push me that hard."
He then crossed his arms and asked, "So? What’s your comment about the [Divine Pod]?"
Rovak’s grin widened. "The best."
Garion raised an eyebrow.
Rovak looked at his own fists, then clenched them tightly. "For us Drakhor Race, our only real downside is that we don’t have good cultivation arts. We rely on bloodline, body, battle, and age."
His eyes burned brighter. "But with this... we can grow even stronger. We don’t have to only wait for bloodline maturity anymore."
Garion’s grin slowly widened.
Rovak looked at him and laughed. "Congratulations, Garion."
Garion blinked. "For what?"
Rovak pointed at him. "It seems you’ll be having a lot more customers from my race later."
Garion stared at him for a second before laughing loudly. "Hahaha! Good! I love working together."
---
Not long after Garion’s and Rovak’s battle ended, a silver ship slowly descended through the stormy clouds above God Gym’s planet.
The violent wind and thunder around the planet crashed against the ship’s barrier, but the silver ship remained steady as it landed near the temporary base.
A moment later, the hatch opened.
Alira stepped out.
Her expression was calm as usual, but the moment her boots touched the ground, she immediately frowned. "This planet is still ridiculous."
Alira looked around, then soon saw Dahlia sitting on a broken boulder nearby.
Dahlia noticed her and raised one hand lazily. "Oh, you came."
Alira walked over. "I came to check on your master."
Dahlia raised an eyebrow. "Master?"
Alira nodded. "Yes. After the tournament, God Gym became troublesome in more ways than one. Paren asked me to come see if Garion had already destroyed his own base or caused another problem."
Dahlia snorted. "Not yet."
Alira paused. "Not yet?"
Dahlia grinned. "Give him time."
Alira sighed, then her gaze shifted.
Not far away, she noticed two people she had never seen before.
One was a beautiful woman with long pink hair, a strong muscular body, and a gentle but powerful aura.
The other was a young pink-haired girl sitting proudly on a stone platform like a tiny queen.
Alira narrowed her eyes. "Who are they?"
Dahlia glanced back. "Them?"
Alira’s hand slowly moved closer to her weapon. "Customers?"
Dahlia immediately shook her head. "No. Both of them are family."
Alira froze. "Family?"
Dahlia nodded and pointed at Rachel. "That one is Elder Rachel."
Rachel looked over and smiled gently. "Hello."
Dahlia continued calmly, "She is Master Garion’s wife."
Alira’s expression cracked. "His wife?"
Then Dahlia pointed at Giselle. "And that kid is Giselle. Master’s daughter."
Giselle lifted her chin proudly. "Correct. I am Father’s daughter and God Gym’s princess."
Alira stared at Rachel.
Then at Giselle.
Then back at Dahlia.
"What the hell?"
Dahlia laughed. "That was my reaction too."
Alira frowned deeply. "Since when did Garion have a wife and daughter?"
Dahlia shrugged. "From the old world."
Alira’s eyes widened slightly. "You mean the same lower world you came from?"
Dahlia nodded. "Yeah."
Alira slowly looked at Rachel and Giselle again. "And they suddenly reunited with him here? In this wide Cosmic Universe?"
Dahlia nodded again. "Pretty much."
Alira went silent.
The chance of that happening was so absurd that she did not even know what to say.
After a while, she finally muttered, "Your master’s life is really abnormal."
Dahlia smiled proudly. "Of course."
Then Dahlia suddenly remembered something and looked at Alira. "Oh, right. Can you help Master with their identities?"
Alira looked at her. "Identities?"
Dahlia nodded. "They came from our old world, so they don’t have proper cosmic records yet. Master will probably need official documents or registration for them."
Alira rubbed her forehead. "Of course. More paperwork."
Rachel smiled apologetically. "Sorry for the trouble."
Alira looked at Rachel for a moment.
Despite the absurd situation, Rachel’s attitude was polite and calm, which made Alira’s expression soften slightly. "It’s fine. I can help later."
Giselle raised one small hand. "Then make mine look important."
Alira blinked. "Important?"
Giselle nodded seriously. "I am God Gym’s princess."
Alira stared at her.
Dahlia laughed loudly.
Alira sighed again. "This family..."
Then she turned back toward Dahlia. "Fine. We’ll handle that later. Let’s check on Garion first."
Dahlia jumped down from the boulder and grinned. "Good timing."
Alira narrowed her eyes. "Why?"
Dahlia pointed toward the distant battlefield. "Master just finished fighting Rovak."
Alira’s expression changed. "Rovak is here too?"
Dahlia’s grin widened. "Yeah. And he’s different now."
Alira suddenly had a bad feeling. "What did Garion do this time?"
Dahlia only laughed. "You’ll see."
