Chapter 896: Lust-coded

Chapter 896 – Lust-coded

Lux looked at Sira quietly.

"But..." His voice lowered. "I know you didn’t do this because you want me stronger."

Sira laughed softly.

Sharp.

Honest.

"Ah~ You caught me."

Lux smirked faintly.

"You’re too entertained by this."

"Obviously."

She shifted slightly in his lap, her nails scratching lightly against the back of his neck.

"I want to know how far you can go after getting this blessing." Her eyes darkened with fascination. "And for me..."

Her voice lowered.

"Milking your pleasure until you completely lose composure sounds incredibly sexy."

Lux’s pulse jumped despite himself.

Because Sira didn’t flirt softly.

She flirted like a woman conducting dangerous experiments recreationally.

"I want to see what happens when you reach ultimate pleasure," she whispered. "I want to watch Greed’s perfect little prince completely fall apart."

Okay.

That sentence did things to him.

Unfortunately.

Lux’s hands settled automatically against her waist while his brain tried very hard to remain functional.

Because yes.

That sounded hot.

Very hot.

But then Sira’s expression changed slightly.

Still teasing.

Still playful.

But softer beneath it.

"Why?" Lux asked quietly.

Sira held his gaze this time.

No jokes immediately.

No smug deflection.

Just honesty.

"That frown of yours. That exhausted look you get after work." Her fingers brushed lightly against his jaw now. "That whole ’I’m fine’ act while drowning in responsibility."

Lux went still. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

Sira continued softly.

"You’re an incubus, Lux."

The music hummed around them quietly.

Warm lights reflecting against her crimson eyes.

"Most incubus drown themselves in pleasure," she murmured. "S*x. Parties. Attention."

Her fingers traced slowly through his hair.

"You?"

A pause.

"You slept in your office."

Lux looked away slightly.

Because yeah.

She remembered.

The late nights.

Coffee cups stacked around financial reports.

The way he fell asleep at his desk more than once after Zavros left him carrying Hell’s economy alone too early.

Sira’s voice softened further.

"I still remember walking in at midnight once." She smiled faintly. "You were holding an espresso like it personally betrayed you."

Lux groaned immediately.

"That memory should be illegal."

"You looked miserable."

"I was balancing three collapsing infernal trade routes."

"You were twenty."

Ouch.

Lux exhaled quietly.

Sira leaned closer until her forehead rested lightly against his.

"That pissed me off." Sira’s eyes met his directly now. "Because you looked lonely."

There it was again.

That word.

Lonely.

Dangerous word tonight apparently.

Sira’s thumb brushed slowly beneath his eye.

"So yeah," she whispered. "Maybe I do want entertainment."

A grin returned slightly.

"But I also want you happy."

The words lingered there.

Warm.

Quiet.

Dangerously sincere.

Lux looked at Sira for a few seconds longer than normal after that.

And honestly?

That alone already told her enough.

Because Lux Vaelthorn, terrifying CFO prince of greed, king of emotional repression and overwork, usually dodged sincerity like it personally offended him.

But now?

Now he just sat there with his hands on her waist, staring at her like he didn’t know what to do.

Sira smiled softer for half a second.

Then immediately ruined the emotional moment before either of them exploded.

"I don’t know how much time you have before you crawl back into that Greed cage again."

There it was.

The truth.

Hidden inside teasing.

"You’ll become Lord of Greed sooner or later," she continued. "And once that happens?" She tapped his chest lightly. "You’ll work yourself to death while pretending caffeine counts as emotional support."

Lux sighed dramatically.

"Coffee has always supported me."

"Coffee enabled you."

"Same thing."

Sira snorted.

But Lux...

Lux couldn’t really deny it.

Sooner or later, he would inherit that throne completely.

The Greed throne.

The economy.

The responsibility.

All of it.

He could delay it.

Dance around it.

Pretend this weird little mansion full of lingerie-clad women and emotional support chaos was permanent.

But eventually?

The throne would call him back.

And Greed never let go completely.

Lux leaned back deeper into the couch slowly.

Thinking.

Feeling the warmth of Sira still lingering on him.

Feeling the terrifying realization that somehow this mansion stopped feeling temporary a long time ago.

Then he smirked slightly.

"Guess I should satisfy myself while I still can."

Sira blinked once.

Then immediately laughed.

"There he is."

Lux spread his hands lazily.

"I need to enjoy the moment."

"Very Lust-coded sentence."

"Thank you."

Sira leaned closer one last time before slipping off his lap smoothly.

"But," she purred, "I’m not doing it now."

Lux narrowed his eyes instantly.

That tone meant problems.

"What did you plan?"

Sira smiled.

Beautiful.

Evil.

"Oh, it won’t be fun if we do this casually."

"Sira."

She ignored him completely and clapped twice.

Immediately...

Movement.

Like demons summoned by lingerie and bad intentions.

The girls appeared almost instantly from different parts of the mansion.

Lux blinked once.

Twice.

Then immediately grabbed his wine.

This was not survival anymore.

This was psychological warfare.

Sira spread her arms proudly.

"So."

Lux pointed slowly at all of them.

"I’m being assassinated with lingerie."

"Yes," Sira answered instantly.

"At least you admit it."

Mira crossed her legs elegantly on the couch nearby.

"You look happy though."

"I look stressed."

"You always look stressed."

Fair.

Very fair.

Sira sat on the armrest beside him now like a smug devil queen overseeing a doomed experiment.

"We have a competition tonight."

Lux immediately frowned.

"What kind of competition?"

Sira’s grin widened.

"The fun kind."

"That sentence has never once meant safety."

Lullaby raised her hand sleepily.

"It’s popular in Lust Domain."

That somehow made it worse.

Lux looked at her carefully. "Why do I feel like I’m about to become public property?"

"Because you are," Naomi said calmly while sipping wine.

Sira leaned forward slightly.

"It’s simple." Her eyes glittered. "We seduce you one by one with a time limit."

Lux stared.

Silence.

Then slowly.

"I’m sorry?"

"The winner," Sira continued smoothly, "is the one who makes you come first."

Lux actually laughed once in disbelief. "Oh, I knew it." He pointed accusingly at all of them. "I’m the toy."

Sira looked delighted. "Oh yes."

Mira nodded seriously. "Absolutely."

Rava raised her glass. "To Lux’s suffering."

Ely tried not to laugh.

Failed immediately.

Lullaby sleepily gave a thumbs up.

Yue looked away while hiding the tiniest smile.
