Chapter 471: Chapter 82: Black Prison Race Front Line, Nano Silicon-based Life (Part 2)
One became two, two became four, four became eight...
The combat strength of these silicon-based lifeforms was beyond anything Lince had ever imagined.
And then, in the very next instant...
Lince witnessed a terrifying number of nanomachines gather together, coalescing into a Metal Beetle on par with the Divine Level.
The entire beetle was a brilliant gold.
It blazed with a magnificent light, its wingspan stretching over six thousand kilometers.
As soon as the Divine Level beetle finished coalescing, Lince instantly sensed a look of profound intelligence in its metal eyes.
Its hate-filled gaze locked onto the Deity from the Black Prison Race.
With a roar, it fired a terrifying beam that swept across nearly a tenth of the battlefield in an instant.
Unfortunately...
This beetle, at best, only possessed the Power of a Pseudo-God.
The super-beetle lacked a Divine Format, and it certainly couldn’t wield the Power of Law.
So, even though its attack had killed a massive number of High Tier and even Saint Tier members of the Black Prison Race...
...the Black Prison Race Deity transformed into an Elemental State—a streak of black light—and pierced the entire Golden Beetle with a terrifying ray of Black Flame.
The Golden Beetle disintegrated with a single strike.
Lince thought that was the extent of the Golden Beetle’s abilities.
But what happened next left him stunned.
Just as the Black Prison Race Deity, in its Elemental Body form, struck and pierced the Golden Beetle...
...the disintegrated Golden Beetle’s remaining nanomachines, at an incredible speed, transformed into something resembling flowing golden sand and completely enveloped the Black Prison Race Deity!
The member of the Black Prison Race, whose body resembled a Two-Horned Demon, roared in fury.
Its entire body erupted in terrifying Black Flame.
But the nanomachines, which should have been instantly melted, underwent a bizarre transformation.
Brilliant golden lights began to flare up from the bodies of the nanomachines.
The golden light continuously counteracted the corrosive Black Flame, while the nanomachines began to frantically devour the Deity’s body.
No matter how the Deity changed, even transforming back into its Elemental State...
...the nanomachines clung to it like maggots to a bone, impossible to shake off.
Throughout this process, countless nanomachines were incinerated to ash by the Deity’s Black Flame.
But just as many had already chewed through the Black Prison Race Deity’s outer Divine Power Barrier.
And so, very quickly, under Lince’s stunned gaze...
...amid the panicked roars of the Black Prison Race Deity, this being of only Weak Divine Power was instantly devoured by the swarm of golden nanomachines.
After devouring the Black Prison Race Deity, the golden nanomachines multiplied even further.
Having devoured the flesh and blood of a Divine Body...
...the bodies of the nanomachines underwent another change. To Lince’s eyes, at least, the newly born nanomachines were now all covered in black markings.
Then, when these new nanomachines coalesced once more...
...a new figure appeared, one that resembled the previous Two-Horned Demon from the Black Prison Race.
Its body was an intertwining mesh of gold and black patterns, giving it an incredibly bizarre appearance.
Although this Metal Deity took action, Lince still couldn’t sense it using any form of Magic.
However, its own resistance to Black Flame, and even to Magic, had been massively amplified.
"What in the world...?" ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
’Can this be considered an artificial Deity?’
Lince watched the scene unfold, thinking that the vast universe was truly full of wonders.
Nano-silicon lifeforms.
Artificial Metal Deities.
’These guys really have found a way to defeat Deities with technology!’
Moreover, from this mere sliver of the battlefield, it wasn’t hard for Lince to deduce...
...that the civilization clashing with the Black Prison Race was undoubtedly the most powerful in the nearby World Community.
They were also the primary enemy of the Black Prison Race in this region.
Therefore, Lince had reason to believe that the main army of this nanomachine civilization was far more powerful than the small legion he was witnessing now.
The battle here ended quickly.
There wasn’t even any suspense.
This small legion of the Black Prison Race had only three Deities.
And all of them were only at the level of Weak Divine Power.
They were far weaker than the force garrisoned in the Shadow World.
Lince had reason to believe this Black Prison Race legion was likely just a reconnaissance force.
A reconnaissance force running into a combat force was an obvious disadvantage.
After all, as the two legions clashed, Lince’s gaze pierced into the dark void farther away, where a massive fleet lay hidden.
The fleet’s scale far exceeded his expectations.
A rough sweep with his Divine Vision revealed...
...no fewer than a million Starship Level units!
’Now that’s a grand legion!’
They had clearly come prepared.
Compared to the Star Empire...
’Alright, the current God of Intelligent Machinery, Anita, doesn’t quite live up to her title.’
Even though, with the Pantheon’s help over the years, the God of Intelligent Machinery, Anita, had installed numerous Divine Power Crystals on her "mount"—a thirty-six-tentacled Octopus...
...and even used materials forged with the Power of Divine Kingdom Law to construct its body, it could still, at best, contend with a single being of Weak Divine Power.
Compared to this small legion before him, which possessed the Power to annihilate Deities...
...Anita was still far behind.
As for the scale of the Intelligent Mechanic Legion under Anita’s control?
The scale was certainly large.
Across more than a dozen worlds, Anita had built an Intelligent Mechanic Legion of nearly thirty million Starships.
But that was merely a matter of quantity.
Facing a Deity, or even this Nanomachine Legion, they would probably be annihilated in an instant.
After all, while Anita had made her own breakthroughs in nanotechnology, her nanomachines were incapable of devouring everything in their path like these were.
Nor did they possess the Power to divide and multiply.
Ultimately, this was the classic gap between a silicon-based lifeform and a purely technological civilization.
Breakthroughs for a technological civilization don’t happen overnight.
Even with assistance from the mystical side, every aspect of development still required time to progress gradually.
After all, not everyone was Lince. Not everyone could transform from an ordinary person into an Authority Level Deity in a mere two thousand years.
However, now that he had seen these Nanobots...
...Lince had no intention of letting this opportunity pass.
These Nanobots were simply too promising, and far too threatening.
Their terrifying ability to reproduce and evolve was no different from having a cheat code.
Although the Star Empire currently had no conflict with this civilization...
...since he’d seen them, it couldn’t hurt to capture some for Anita to study.
And so, with a mere thought...
The next moment, amidst the Nanomachine Legion cleaning up the battlefield, a Starship Level Nanoparticle Aggregate unit suddenly vanished without a trace.
In that same instant, enveloped by Lince’s Space Cage, the entire Starship was frozen solid, like a sculpture sealed within solidified Space.
’No matter how powerful these nanomachines are in the Material Realm...’
’...their inability to wield Law Power will always be an insurmountable weakness.’
’So what if they can devour any Element or matter?’
’How can they possibly chew through the unseen, untouchable Power of Space Law?’
Even if the nanomachines were as small as microscopic particles, as long as they existed in the Material Realm, they could be restrained by the Power of Space.
And that was to say nothing of the fact that Lince was an Authority Level Deity.
Acquiring some for research was, therefore, almost laughably easy.
It was impossible for them to even send out a message.
Having done all this, Lince used a spatial anchor to quickly transport the nanomachines back to the Star Realm of the Crimson World.
Intelligent Mechanism Anita received the news immediately and, unable to wait, directed a large number of Intelligent Mechanisms to receive the precious research materials.
However, to ensure she could study them safely...
...Intelligent Mechanism Anita ultimately requested the help of a Main God Level Deity.
Anita’s request was simple: she wanted the Main God to help move the nanomachines into a Divine Kingdom and use its power to restrain them so she could study them at her leisure.
Of course, Lince paid no mind to these matters.
After sending the nanomachines back, he set off again, quickly warping toward other nearby Fixed Star Systems.
He knew he must be close to the Black Prison Race’s main battlefront in this Star Realm.
After Lince departed, the million-strong Nanomachine Legion was left behind, on high alert and in a state of anxious confusion.
