Chapter 1042: Chapter 1040: The Pretentious Western God

The entire world was shocked by the actions of the Western Gods.

However, the East was different, directly cursing.

"Damn it, what kind of bullshit Western Gods are those? The Saint Heavenly Master hasn’t killed any ordinary person, yet they killed many people building the Saint Master Hall. Clearly, they’re jealous of the Holy Master."

"The Western Gods are too hypocritical. When Foreign Ghosts appeared in the West, who knows how many cities were destroyed, how many people were killed? Did they appear then? Now they show up when the Saint Master Hall is established in the West? Really good at timing."

"Truly hypocritical. I even suspect, are they really the Western Gods?"

The internet is powerful, and what occurred in the West quickly spread to the East.

Eastern people naturally became furious, and everybody condemned those Western Gods.

"Once the Holy Master steps in, none of those Western Gods will escape."

"Exactly, waiting for the Holy Master to smack them in the face."

On Mount Olympus, ordinary people can’t see the temple on that high mountain.

Inside the temple, are the "gods."

"Zeus, what now?" a woman of boundless charm looked at Zeus at the highest point of the temple.

Zeus, a tall, majestic man, standing seven to eight meters tall, an absolute giant, sat on the throne in the center of the temple.

With silver long hair draped over his shoulders, a chiseled face, crowned with a golden headpiece, he exuded authority.

Zeus said coldly: "The gods of Mount Olympus have been absent from the mortal sight for too long. Mortals are almost forgetting us. A Saint Master Hall popping up to replace the gods is laughable."

"I heard this Holy Master is formidable, the strongest among Eastern humans," a beautiful woman said.

Zeus looked at the woman and said, "Athena, what do you think is the strongest?"

Athena pondered and said, "A strong heart."

Zeus said, "Wrong. The strongest is belief. Endless belief keeps us gods eternal from ancient times. Without belief, our power would greatly diminish."

The middle-aged woman who spoke earlier, incredibly sexy with long brown hair, was Hera.

"Zeus, are you saying that the Holy Master also seeks belief?"

Zeus nodded and said, "He intends to seize belief and eradicate us."

Zeus said, "Times have changed. I believe you all have felt that our divine power has no longer reached its limit and can ascend to a higher level."

The gods below nodded, each standing five to six meters tall, emanating divinity.

Zeus’s gaze flickered with fire, "The Netherworld has also disappeared. I’ve lost contact with Hades. They must have closed the gates of the Netherworld. Thus, our chance to dominate has arrived."

The gods’ eyes brightened.

"Zeus, are you implying that the Titan Gods of the Netherworld can no longer restrain us?"

Zeus nodded and said, "Correct, the era of the gods has arrived."

Zeus looked at Apollo and said, "Apollo, go down to the mortal world and destroy the Saint Master Halls across the globe."

Apollo responded excitedly, "Yes."

Zeus continued, "So, the gods will no longer live in seclusion. This is our era."

With golden hair cascading and wearing a tall, handsome appearance, he was the Sun God of Western mythology, Apollo.

Apollo prepared to depart, boarding the Sun Chariot, ready to ride it to various places worldwide, to destroy the Saint Master Halls.

Without belief, the Western Gods would destroy themselves.

This was their secret: belief sustained them from ancient times to now.

The chariot soared into the sky.

On the way, Apollo suddenly sensed a black wind passing by at great speed.

Apollo exclaimed, "What was that?"

Curious, Apollo quickly pursued it.

When he caught up with the black wind, he saw a giant Ghost Ant Queen.

Apollo was overjoyed, "If I can tame it as a mount, that would be so cool."

Apollo prepared to act.

However, the Ghost Ant Queen suddenly turned its head and charged at him.

Apollo was ready to subdue the Ghost Ant Queen, a "Divine Power" appeared in his hand.

Suddenly, a terrifying aura approached Apollo.

On the back of the Ghost Ant Queen, a young man appeared, with arms folded, looking at Apollo coldly.

Apollo was secretly surprised, does the Ghost Ant Queen have an owner?

However, even if it has an owner, Apollo still wanted it.

He didn’t hesitate, unleashing the Divine Power in his hand.

But when nearing the Ghost Ant Queen, the young mortal on its back punched out.

The divine light was pierced through, and a terrifying energy wave roared towards the chariot.

"Boom."

Apollo abandoned the chariot, watching it be destroyed, infuriated.

"Damn mortal."

Upon hearing that he’s called a mortal, Chu Hao felt even more displeased.

If it wasn’t for knowing your identity, I might really think these guys were gods.

"A mere ghost dares to act arrogant in front of this Holy Master? You’re seeking death."

Chu Hao gestured and puffed his cheeks, spewing out a massive fireball.

Apollo sneered, Divine Power from his body exploded, becoming radiant like the sun, absorbing the incoming fireball entirely.

Chu Hao was taken aback.

He could feel that the so-called Divine Power of his opponent was essentially Soul Force, with a sacred aura mixed in.

Chu Hao’s expression was peculiar, could these guys truly be the Twelve Principal Gods from Western mythology?

A bunch of ghosts?

Apollo stood in the void, teasingly looking at Chu Hao, "Mortal, this god fancies your Ghost Ant Queen, this is your honor, you can leave now."

How dismissively he treated Chu Hao?

Directly stating his desire for the Ghost Ant Queen.

Chu Hao calmly said, "What are you, daring to call yourself a god?"

Apollo sneered, spreading his arms, "You have no idea who you’re facing."

"The light of the sun, envelops the earth."

Instantly, a powerful ray of light burst from Apollo’s body, bright and dazzling.

This sunbeam directly enveloped Chu Hao and the Ghost Ant Queen.

Apollo lowered his hands and said indifferent, "This mortal is quite capable, but now he’s reduced to ashes."

However, when the sunbeam disappeared, the huge ant in front flapped its wings, completely unharmed.

On its back, Chu Hao looked at Apollo coldly.

"Ding... The host has successfully shocked with pretentiousness, acquiring ten thousand Pretentiousness Points."

"How is that possible!" Apollo’s face was full of shock.

Chu Hao calmly said, "The Ghost Qi condensed Soul Force, bursting out like sunlight indeed looks like sunbeams."

"But! Using Soul Force like that is a complete waste. Doesn’t the West have a complete Ghost Cultivation system?" Chu Hao said.

Apollo exclaimed, "Who are you really?"

Chu Hao, with arms behind his back, exuded elegance and commanding presence, calmly said, "Aren’t you gods looking for me? I am the Holy Master."

This man is the Saint Heavenly Master?
