Chapter 537: The Wedding bells [1]

Three Weeks Later

The Holy Land had never been busier.

News of the upcoming marriage between Kael, the Goddess’s chosen companion and Princess Amelia Bleaufort of Eurasania had spread like wildfire across the continent.

Preparations were in full swing.

In one of the grand private chambers of the Goddess’ Residence, Amelia stood on a raised platform in front of a full-length mirror, surrounded by a team of the finest tailors and seamstresses from both Cene and Eurasania.

She wore a breathtaking wedding gown in progress with layers of pristine white silk and sky-blue accents.

The dress was elegant yet modest, with flowing sleeves and a long train.

Amelia stared at her reflection and she turned slightly, watching how the fabric moved with her.

Freya stood nearby looking at her with a proud, slightly emotional smile.

She had taken charge of many of the preparations, ensuring everything is perfect.

"You look stunning," Freya said softly, stepping closer to adjust one of the sleeves. "The blue accents really bring out your eyes."

Upon hearing her words, Amelia smiled shyly, "It feels like a dream... I never imagined I would be marrying him in a place like this."

Freya’s expression softened. She placed her hands on Amelia’s shoulders from behind, meeting her eyes in the mirror.

"You deserve this," she said gently. "You’ve grown so much."

Amelia’s cheeks turned pink and she glanced ather Aunt "We could have marred him at the same time, but you refused."

Freya chuckled and kissed the top of her head.

"It’s alright. You can marry him... I will just be his concubine."

Meanwhile, in another wing of the residence, Brandon stood on a balcony overlooking the city.

He was dressed in formal attire, wearing a black suit with sky-blue embroidery matching Amelia’s gown.

His expression was thoughtful as he gazed at the bustling capital below.

Rheanne stood beside him with her arms resting on the railing.

She wore a simple white dress, her long hair flowing freely in the breeze.

She had been unusually quiet since the vision, but she had thrown herself into helping with the wedding preparations, wanting to support Brandon.

"You’ve been distant lately," she said softly, glancing at him. "Is it because of the wedding... or because of what I saw that night?"

Brandon turned to her, "Both. wedding is important. But the vision you had... it’s been on my mind too."

Rheanne nodded slowly, looking out at the city.

"I keep thinking about it too."

Brandon reached out and gently took her hand, intertwining their fingers.

He squeezed her hand and spoke with a small smile "Amelia... she’s over the moon. She keeps asking if the dress will be ready in time."

Rheanne’s lips curved into a faint, warm smile.

"She’s a sweet girl. And you deserve to have this moment and be happy with her."

Brandon looked at her for a moment and asked quietly "Are you alright with this? With me marrying her?"

She was silent for a few seconds. Then she leaned her head against his shoulder.

"I am. What right do I have to stop you from enjoying your life or the decisions you make? As long as you don’t forget me... I’ll be happy for you."

Glancing at her, he let out a chuckle "How could I ever forget you?"

She giggled and lifted her head slightly to look athim "Mhm. If you ever forget me. I will beat you into a pulp, you rascal."

Brandon laughed softly and cupped her cheek with one hand "I’d deserve it."

"But you don’t have to worry about that. You’re irreplaceable, Rheanne. No matter how many people come into my life."

Rheanne closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the warmth of his words.

She leaned into his touch, her hand coming up to rest over his on her cheek.

"I know," she said quietly.

"It’s just... strange sometimes. Watching you build a family and future with others."

"I never imagined myself feeling this way. I... am happy for you, but also... a little scared of being left behind."

Brandon pulled her fully into his arms, hugging her tightly against his chest.

He rested his chin on top of her head, swaying with her gently in the cool breeze. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

"Don’t say things like that. We’ve built too much together. And no matter what happens with Amelia, or Freya, or anyone else... you and I will always have this. Our bond."

Rheanne let out a soft sigh and wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing her face into his neck.

At that moment, the balcony door opened.

Freya stepped out, looking stunning in a deep emerald gown that hugged her mature figure elegantly.

She paused for a second, lookingat the sight of Brandon hugging Rheanne so closely.

A playful smile curved her lips.

"Well, well," Freya said as she walked closer. "The groom is out here hugging another woman just minutes before his wedding. How scandalous."

Brandon chuckled softly and Rheanne stepped back from his arms.

Freya walked straight up to Brandon and slipped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a warm, affectionate hug.

Her body pressed against his as she rested her chin on his shoulder.

"Husband..."

Brandon wrapped one arm around Freya’s waist "I could have married both of you at the same time, you know. It wouldn’t have been a problem for me."

Freya pulled back just enough to look at him, shaking her head with a fond laugh.

"No. This is Amelia’s moment. Let her savor it. She’s been dreaming of this day for so long. I don’t want to take even a little of that joy away from her."

She licked her lips "Besides... we have our own way of being together. There’s no need to rush everything at once."

As she spoke, she leaned forward and kissed his lips.

Seeing this, Rheanne shook her head helplessly ’I should leave them alone.’

A faint, complicated smile touched her lips.

But before she could move far, Brandon reached out and gently caught her hand.

His fingers intertwined with hers, refusing to let her slip away.

He gave her hand a light squeeze, pulling her back toward him.

Rheanne looked down at their joined hands, then up at Brandon’s face.

She sighed in her heat and squeezed his hand back, her fingers tightening around his fingers as she stayed.

’You rascal...’

Freya smiled and kissed his cheek once more before stepping back slightly, "We should get ready."

"Amelia is probably nervous. We don’t want to keep the bride waiting too long. Also, come downstairs."

With that, Freya quickly left the place.

Rheanne watched her go, then turned back to Brandon with a fond expression.

She stepped close again, adjusting the collar of his formal attire.

"You really are a lucky man," she teased lightly. "Two women who love you enough to share you."

"I know," he murmured with a smile. "And I don’t take it for granted."
