Military training, too, was a part of university life. How could one skip it for no reason?
He was a good student after all!
As soon as he settled in the lab, Zhang Wei walked out and said, "You’re just in time, we’re about to start two sets of experiments."
"Roughly how long will it take?"
"About an hour or so," Zhang Wei said as she began tidying up, treating Zhao Yi as a mere ’observer’.
The current project was called ’The Role of IL-1α in the Pathogenesis of Chronic Liver Inflammation and its Impact on the Body’s Immune Regulation Network’, which simply put, was researching the role of IL-1α protein.
’Chronic Liver Inflammation’ was just an ’example’, as the role of the IL-1α protein didn’t vary much across most diseases.
As part of the experiments designed by Zhang Wei, they first examined the distribution ratio of IL-1α and immune cells in mouse blood and tested some standard data.
Then, they injected a substance into the mice to increase the level of IL-1α to observe its status.
While the experiment was slow, some of the test data could be generated pretty quickly.
