Zhao Yi listed a whole series of requests.
Yan Xuelin thought it over carefully. Zhao Yi’s lab had completed such a major project, so it seemed reasonable for the institute to spend a little money to fit out two rooms. After all, what’s the big deal?
Zhao Yi’s demands were a bit high, but still within an acceptable range.
He nodded and said, "No problem, the institute will cover the cost," he said, patting his chest for emphasis, which roughly meant that the institute was not short of money.
After finishing his talk, Zhao Yi nodded to Ai Lixin and the other two before heading out for lunch.
Ai Lixin, Li Ming, and Zhu Qi all looked at Yan Xuelin and unanimously gave a thumbs up.

"The institute is really lavish and magnanimous!" said Ai Lixin, Li Ming, and Zhu Qi simultaneously, giving a thumbs up with odd expressions before turning around and walking away.
Yan Xuelin was left puzzled, muttering to himself as he watched the three leave the lobby, "What’s going on? Why are they all acting so strange? Could it be because of a major breakthrough, they’re too excited?"
