Chapter 370: The Summit Above The World

[Night Time.]

[Galaxy Tower.]

The chilling, high-altitude winds whipped across the observation deck of the Galaxy Tower. Standing thousands of feet above the sprawling metropolis, the tower served as the architectural and magical pinnacle of Galaxy City. Below them, Galaxy City was a breathtaking ocean of glowing neon lights.

"Big Sister, do you think they’ll come?" Carl asked, staring at the city below. His aura was completely suppressed, blending into the quiet night as his mind calculated the odds of their invited guests actually showing up.

Mirabella stared at the sweet in her hand, then looked up at the clear night sky: "I don’t know." She said. Her tone was calm, betraying no emotion.

"Um... Big Sister, I have a question, why did you reveal your badge to us? I mean, the first time." Grace asked, sitting quietly on the circular bench behind the two.

"Well... The badge shows I am now someone related to the Dragon Empire. It also shows I won’t betray the empire in the future... I showed them the badge, so they will see where I stand." She turned around to face Grace, casually resting her back on the reinforced iron railing around the tower.

"Each of those kids from Galaxy Fall has families, this way, it makes things easier." She said, acknowledging the deep-rooted aristocratic bloodlines and clan politics that governed the native inhabitants.

"Big Sister, I thought you only want those from Earth?" Carl asked, his gaze fixed in the distant, starlit horizon. He remembered their initial mandate to unite the awakened players from Earth.

"That was my initial plan. But later, I discovered I also need people from this world... I don’t know what will happen in the future. As I said, we might lose the right to enter this world... At least, we should have some people here who will continue our goal." She said, slowly licking her sweet.

The connection between Earth and Galaxy Fall was fragile, subject to the whims of the creators. Securing native allies was a vital insurance policy.

"And what is our goal?" Carl asked again, turning his body to face her fully, his expression turning entirely serious:

"What’s your goal?" He added.

At the shift in tone, Cupcake opened her eyes from where she rested on Mirabella’s shoulder, also staring at Mirabella with deep curiosity.

"My goal." Mirabella closed her eyes, a genuine, ambitious smile forming on her lips:

"I only have one goal. And that’s to be the strongest in the whole world... In every world, I want to be the strongest." She raised her left hand, staring intensely at her clenched fist, visualizing the absolute peak of the cosmic hierarchy:

"I want to build a force strong enough to face any enemy... I don’t know if this is a sufficient goal, but this is what I am after." She smiled softly, fully accepting the monumental weight of her own desires:

"Maybe I’m a power hungry psycho, I don’t care... I just know one thing, I must become the strongest." She said, casually licking her sweet. To protect her friends, Cupcake, and her own freedom, absolute supremacy was the only logical path.

"So you want to rule this world?" Carl asked again, his question pausing Mirabella in place.

"If that is your goal, you will surely clash with the three empires, and even those four people we saw in the competition." He added, referencing the unfathomable Overseers who regulated the dimensional laws.

"You misunderstood me." She said, continued licking her sweet, completely unbothered by the prospect of such terrifying enemies:

"I said, I want to be the strongest in the world, I didn’t say I want to rule the world... Those are two different things. For example this world. I want to be the strongest here, but I don’t have the time and energy to rule over millions of people. If it comes to ruling, I might accept the throne, but I won’t be the one ruling..." She turned around, staring deeply at the glowing city below:

"Ruling people will hold you down in one place. I don’t want that."

Carl slowly nodded his head, perfectly understanding her philosophy. Supreme power guaranteed absolute freedom. "Is there anything we need to know? Maybe your plans."

Mirabella stared at the vast sky for a moment, weighing the immediate threats, and exhaled softly: "I plan to rescue Jessica, and..." She looked cautiously over her shoulder, sensing the energies in the air:

"I will tell you more later, this isn’t a good place."

Carl, and Grace slowly nodded their heads in understanding. The walls of Galaxy City had ears, and Master Nadia was likely already hunting for them.

"Sorry, we’re late."

The three turned their attention to the only reinforced metal door leading to the observation tower, watching as Precious and Daniel walked confidently towards them, stepping out of the stairwell shadows.

"Seems I am late."

".....?!"

Grace jumped and violently turned beside her, seeing Hitachi, sitting perfectly still on the bench right next to her, hugging his sword.

"Huh? How did you get here?" Grace exclaimed in shock, clutching her chest.

Hitachi simply nodded respectfully, not saying anything to explain his ghostly entrance.

"I expect everyone to be here, except you. Why did you come?" Mirabella asked, backing Hitachi, her gaze now fixed on the mesmerizing city lights.

"You seem to know a lot of things, and have a lot of ways to get stronger... I want to get stronger." He said truthfully, swallowing his clan’s pride to follow the apex predator of their generation.

Mirabella slowly nodding her head: "I can indeed help with that."

"I hope we can also get stronger."

Everyone turned back to the door, seeing the noble twins, Austin and Aurelia, walking out from the door. Rose silently followed behind them, her eyes scanning the perimeter.

Over the next few moments, the shadows shifted as the rest of the invited prodigies arrived. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

In less than five minutes, a total of 12 people were on the tower, namely; Mirabella, Carl, Grace, Hitachi, Rose, Austin, Aurelia, David, Kent, Daniel, Precious, and Casey. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com

"Okay..." Mirabella moved her gaze slowly over the twelve individuals sitting before her, the sweet still in her mouth. This diverse group of Earthlings and Galaxy Fall natives represented the absolute peak of dragon empire’s younger generation’s potential.

"I formally want to welcome all of you into Ghost."
