Su Li was caught off guard. Her hands were full, and in an instant, Yang Xiangyun snatched Little Tang Mo away.
Yang Xiangyun let out a shrill cry. She clutched Little Tang Mo tightly, pushed past the other wives in the living room, and ran outside with him.

"No! I can’t give him to you! I can’t let you take Momo away!" Yang Xiangyun replied, gently laying the delirious, feverish Little Tang Mo on the patient bed.
Her face filled with loving tenderness as she stroked Little Tang Mo’s hair. "Don’t be afraid. Aunt Yang will protect you."
She tucked Little Tang Mo in before walking to the door to address the still-pounding Su Li.
"Stop banging on the door. I’m not going to open it. And I won’t let you take Momo away and put him in danger."
"Once Little Mo is better, I will personally return him to Captain Tang."
Yang Xiangyun gritted her teeth. "Sister-in-law, this is the last time I’ll call you that. You’ve disappointed me so much. I never thought you were such a vicious person."
Su Li was about to lose her mind. She threw her weight against the door.
"Yang Xiangyun, are you insane?! Open the door!"
"Don’t bother trying to break it down; you won’t succeed. No matter what, I will not give Momo to you."
Gritting her teeth, Yang Xiangyun backed away. She picked up Little Tang Mo from the bed, kissed his forehead, and whispered, "If you don’t want him, I do! If you won’t cherish him, I will!"
Su Li slammed against the door twice before Doctor Yang and the other military wives who had followed caught up and restrained her.
Grandma Cui arrived with them, her entire body trembling. "Su Li, don’t panic."

Doctor Yang snorted, shot Su Li a contemptuous look, and spoke to Yang Xiangyun through the door.
"Go ahead and give him the fever-reducing injection."
"Okay," Yang Xiangyun immediately agreed from inside.
"You’re insane! You’re all insane!" Su Li was on the verge of a breakdown.
Doctor Yang scoffed. "You’re the insane one. We’re just responsibly saving a patient."
"Open the door. I’m taking Little Mo home," Su Li said, her anger reaching its peak. "If you don’t open this door, I’m calling the police."
"Hah, calling the police? If the police come, they’ll be the ones arresting you."
Miao Zhi couldn’t help but sneer from the side.
"Exactly. We didn’t react fast enough, but Nurse Yang did. How could we let her just walk off with Tang Mo? Who knows where he’d end up dead."
Another wife chimed in, her gaze hostile.
Grandma Cui watched anxiously from the side, repeatedly pleading, "Please, don’t be like this," but no one paid her any mind.
Several of the wives spontaneously surrounded Su Li.

"Get out of my way!" She pushed past a few of the women and saw a supervisor hurrying over.

He glanced at Doctor Yang. "You wait here."
He led Su Li a few steps away from the crowd before speaking in a low voice.
"Su Li, you and Tang Yuanxiao are divorced," he reminded her.
Su Li frowned.
The supervisor didn’t look at Su Li, continuing his point. "You said you want to call the police. Have you considered this fact?"
Su Li felt as if she’d been plunged into an icy abyss. "What... what do you mean?"
The supervisor sighed. "I don’t mean anything by it. I just wanted to remind you of the facts. It wouldn’t be good for this to blow up and get the police involved."
He shook his head. "You can trust Doctor Yang’s medical skills. Just let him treat the boy."
Su Li shook her head. "I can’t trust him. I don’t trust him."
The supervisor shook his head again. "Su Li, I know you’re very worried about Tang Mo, but... you two have no legal relationship anymore."
