"What do you mean by inevitable?" Penelope demanded with a frown.
Octavia’s smile widened, "if you’d like to know, i suggest you stay inside today. The council meeting will soon be over, anf everything will be revealed."
Penelope gritted her teeth and grimaced. Nothing was going to feel normal again after everything her sister planned.. She glared at her and her heart thundered loudely in her chest. Dreads will her but she could not show it. She would not give her sister the satisfaction she craved.
But Octavia could always sniff the fear in her, no matter how she tried to hide it. She smiled patted her cheeks, turned and sauntered down the stairs.
After she’d gone out of sight, Penelope let out the breath she’d been holding a breathed in deeply. She tilted her head upward and blinked furiously.
She walked down the stairs aftwr a few moments of standing and as soon as she reached the foot of the stairs, the senators trickled out of the council room arguing audibly the whole palace shook.
"I really can’t believe we let that spy into the kingdom," one of the senators said.
"It wouldn’t have happened if we didn’t let them in in the first place."
"Is that right Senator Aetos, you seem to forget that your son has been gallivanting around with one of the girls that has been accused," a third man said.

Penelope’s heart stopped. Was Hera in trouble? Her heart bbeat faster in her chest as sbe walked towards the the council room, pushing past the senators without a care and earned hersself a few glares.

Inside the room, Adonis’s forehead creased and he was staring at Octavia intensely. He shook his head and stormed out.
"Wait!" Penelope grabbed Adonis’s arm as he was about to walk past her. "What happened?"
Adonis glared at her. "I wish i was never born i a family with her. She’s gone mad. Absolutely, mad, " he hissed.
"Just tell me what happened."
"She’s in there," he said and jerked his head towards Octavia’s direction."Ask her for hourself." Then he pulled his hand away violently and stumped off.
Penelope waited by the door, her heart thundering in her chest.
Octavia and their father were deep in a discussion when their eyes met. For a brief second she saw the glint in her eyes shine brightly, but her mouth stayed curled downwards in a from.
"Alright father," Octavia said, "I’ll see to it that they are promptly arrested."
Penelope held the door frame tightly, and watched as Octavia walked towards her. "Sister," she said, loud enough that their farher heard. "I didn’t expect to see you here. How are you?"
"What have you done?" Penelope asked quietly.
Octavian beamed. "Just what was necessary," she slurred.
"Who?"
Octavia chuckled. "Why do you want to know so badly?" She asked. "This doesn’t concern you."
Penelope began to shudder in fear, the suspence was killing her.
"Please," Penelope clutched her hand and whispered. "Tell me who they are."
Octavia snuck a glance at her father and then looked at Penelope. "You’ll see them soon," she grinned at her and then left.
Penelope followed immediately behind Octavia as she walked.
"Guards!" Octavia called, "arrest those criminals."
"Yes, my princess," they saluted and ran up the stair.
Penelope watched, her heart in her thoat as she watched the guards ransack the rooms and the girls began to shriek and scream.
They pulled our the first girl, Agatha, she pulled and screamed for them to leave her alone.
Then they pulled the second girl out, Hope. She stared tongue tied. Her eyes darting from one soldier to the other.
Then they pulled out Iris and penelope staggered backward. She watched as they pulled her away. They soldiers walked on both sides but did not hold her. It felt like she knew what would happen and walked on with pride.
Penelope turned towards Octavia and stared ather with tired eyes. She rushed towards her Octavia and fell to her knees.
"Please," she begged. "Whatever it is you think I’ve done, I’m sorry."
Tears welled up in her eyes and began to pour down. Penelope bowed continously, bumoung her head on the floor.
Octavia wheezed, put a hand over her mouth, then knelt on one knee to look at her face to face.
"Pen, what’s the matter?"
"Please, Octavia do not do this."
Ocatavia tilted her head to the side. "Do what?" Her eyes twinkled.
I promised you we’d have a lot of fun,"she said in a whisper, "and the fun has just began. Don’t be such a downer."
"What are you two doing?" Their father asked.
"Father," Octavia said. "it’s nothing serious. Pen hurt her knee while she was walking down the stairs. She’ll be fine."
Their looked over Penelope casually, "be more careful," he said and went on his way.
Octavia turned back to Penelope and and gave her a sinister smile. "She’s in the dungeons, if you would like to see her."
Penelope’s head rested on the floor, her eyes closed.
"I wouldn’t want to keep her waiting."
Penelope slowlt raised her head so she could meet Octavia’s eyes. "I promise you, you’ll regret this."
Octavia smirked. "You better make good on that promise."
