Facing the oncoming tearing windstorm, the three of Hakushi showed no intention to dodge.

Ayane moved first, leaping into the air and disappearing from the scene, she appeared above the controlled Hidden Cloud Village Ninja, reaching out her hand and striking downward fiercely.

The Chakra palm strike launched from her palm directly pierced through the barrier of the air, landing on the back of the Hidden Cloud Ninja.

Boom!

The Hidden Cloud Ninja, having suffered a potentially fatal blow, fell silent, and the windstorm striking the rocks ceased. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

A massive crater appeared on the ground, and the Hidden Cloud Ninja lay motionless, surrounded by ground and walls stained with blood that spattered from his body.

The force of the palm strike not only disrupted the exterior of the Hidden Cloud Ninja, but also destroyed his Chakra System within.

With the channel for transmitting Chakra lost, the dark consciousness-imbued purple-black Chakra naturally could no longer control the body of the Hidden Cloud Ninja for battle.

All around, other ninjas controlled by Moryo's power also began to move, letting out sounds unlike human voices, rushing toward Ayane.

They were shrouded in a deep, dark aura, their eyes blood-red, in a state of bloodthirsty frenzy.

Like beasts, they became predators hunting in the most primitive way.

"What a nuisance."

Despite saying this, Ayane's lips curled into a slight smile, her palms gathered Chakra, and her body began to spin intensely.

"Revolving Heaven!"

A massive Chakra Ball manifested in the narrow cave path, stirring up a terrifying storm that automatically swept these controlled ninjas into the Chakra Ball.

Then came the sound of bodies being torn, and at some point, the blue Chakra Ball was stained with a layer of scarlet, appearing extremely eerie.

The spinning body slowly came to a halt, her clothes and hair settling, and Ayane gently exhaled, the ninjas that besieged her all fallen on the ground.

The bodies of these ninjas were in tragic states, none intact, their faces twisted in agony then stiff in death, as if they had experienced something utterly terrifying, their expressions written with dread.

Seeing Ayane had finished dealing with the ninjas, Hakushi walked over nonchalantly, squatted down, and began inspecting the corpses of the ninjas, deep in thought.

"Although their Chakra was enhanced, they seem to have lost their original combat consciousness. As experimental subjects, they should be pretty decent, right?"

The power of a ninja cannot be determined solely by the amount of Chakra.

Indeed, ninjas with vast amounts of Chakra have certain advantages in many battles.

Nevertheless, battle isn't that simple.

Combat awareness and the types of jutsu can also decide the outcome of a fight.

Moryo... doesn't seem to understand or isn't accustomed to using humans for battle.

However, to Moryo, humans are plentifully available, indifferent to quality differences; they are nothing more than subjects to dominate.

In that respect, Moryo truly treats humans with indifferent equality.

"Let's go, to the sealed location in the shrine."

After dealing with the ninjas blocking their path, the three of Hakushi continued onward.

The further they went, the clearer they could feel a certain creature's heavy and powerful heartbeat, echoing throughout the cave, unending.

The Dark Power grew stronger, a force distinct from the ninja's Chakra System energy, able to stir the most primal desires within people, thus achieving the control of the human mind.

If someone lacks strong enough Chakra or consciousness, the moment they come into contact with this Dark Power, they would likely become playthings in Moryo's hands.

Lucky for them, Moryo's power now only affects a very small range.

Were his power to continue expanding until it pervades all across the Ninja Realm, it would truly be beyond salvation.

The Ninja Realm would become a dark kingdom in Moryo's grasp, an earthly hell.

Violent, scorching air continuously blew from deep within the cave, soon reaching the end of the path, revealing before the three of Hakushi an enormous natural cavern, spacious enough for two armies to fully engage in battle.

And at the cavern's bottom was blistering magma, bubbling and within it, faintly visible, a colossal shadow hidden, quietly slumbering in the magma.

Within the magma, there were intersecting and crisscrossing narrow stone paths, allowing for walking on them.

These stone paths seemed to have weathered considerable erosion over time, now dilapidated, causing one to doubt if walking on them would immediately lead to a collapse, plunging into the magma below.

Hakushi's eyes briefly scanned and noticed a beautifully sacred figure standing on a nearby stone path, gazing directly toward a certain point.

This sacred figure's owner was none other than the Witch Mire of the Land of Demons.

This was one of the rare times Hakushi saw the true form of Mire.

Most of the time, his conversations with Mire were through an intervening veil, talking from afar.

The direction Mire gazed toward was a place about a hundred meters away from her.

There stood an intact stone chair, and sitting on it, rather than a human, was a malevolent creature maintaining a human shape, but whose true form was unknown.
