"I feel better." Alpha Thor muttered as he stepped out of the room and I swallowed, recoiling at the end of the room while hoping they would never take notice of me.

The doctor walked in, smiling as he bowed his head. "Alpha, I brought a few drugs which can help. I don’t think it’s advisable for you to be standing and using up your strength..."

"I’m fine." Alpha Thor announced and he was taken aback.

"What?"

"He’s okay... He regained his strength today but go ahead and take a test, we need to be very sure." Alpha Ryker added and the doctor nodded, shock shock visible in his eyes.

I was stunned too to hear the news and the doctor made a series of observations before he finally spoke.

"Wow. This is the fastest you’ve healed, Alpha, it’s like a miracle, you’re as good as new." He joked and Ryker nodded.

"Let’s leave. We’ve spent too many days away from the pack." Alpha Thor suggested and he nodded, their eyes resting on me as I buried my head immediately.

"I’ll take my leave now. I hope you stay safe, Alpha." The doctor muttered before walking away.

Both men stood before me in no time and I swallowed, ready to speak as they shifted into their wolf forms.

I was thrown on Ryker’s back and I held on dearly for my life, terrified to death at the kind of journey we see fight to have in the forest.

It was late already, the moon was the only light that illuminated the path we took. The moment he began racing, I wrapped my hand around his serve neck, scared that I might drop onto the ground and get eaten by the ravenous beasts.

We ran for hours, my body shook, water poured out of my eyes as I gritted my teeth, shivering at some period but after what seemed like a lifetime, we found the gate.

The strong, tall gate stood in front of us and I jumped down just as the guards were about to open the gate.

My feet hurt from jumping so high but I gave no expression, standing behind them as I put a little distance between us.

The guards were excited to see the alphas, they bowed and commended the alpha while I slowly crept into darkness, making my way to my room.

I collapsed on the bed, shifting my eyes as I tried to go to sleep but I frowned when I caught a whiff of Alpha Thor’s scent.

It was masculine, strong and intense, making me peel my eyes open with terror, hoping he wasn’t in my room.

"Oh." I muttered as I was met by total darkness, there was no way he’d enter my room without passing through the door.

I shut my eyes again but this time, images from the house flashed in my head, images of how I had my hand moving up and down his length.

I was disgusted with myself for being reminded of such, if there was a way to take that memory out of my head, I wouldn’t hesitate to do that.

I forced my eyes shut, blocking and pushing out every distraction that came, determined to go to bed.

I walked into the kitchen to see Rose arranging the Alpha’s dishes. Her smile suddenly disappeared when she saw me.

"The goddess must love you so much for you to be able to escape everything. It’s great that you’re alive." They squealed and I smiled, bowing my head softly.

"Thank you so much, you’re all so kind." I muttered. For people whom I thought hated me, they were surprisingly nice.

"Oh please, stop acting like she did anything. The guards who died are the heroes, I’m sure she just hid around a corner and watched the alphas fight." Rose interrupted and I scoffed.

"Or maybe the alphas were nice enough to rescue her. They’ve not used their money’s worth yet so it’ll be a waste if she dies." Rise continued, glaring at me with a vicious smile.

I scoffed. "Must you always have a problem with me? I’ve never done anything to deserve this cruelty from you, why can’t you act like I don’t exist?" I demanded and she raised a brow at me.

"I’m a maid, I won’t exchange words with a lowly slave like you who was purchased to be pleasured for pleasure. You belong in the den, sucking dicks, the only thing you know how to do best, not in this kitchen with your filthy body!" She spat out and I was about to attack her when Nikolai walked inside, making everyone go silent.

"Brielle, come with me." He ordered and I turned around. I mouthed "bitch." At Rose before walking away.

"Am I in trouble again? It’s barely a day." I muttered sadly and he said nothing. I shut my mouth, trying to think of a better way to strike a conversation but my ability to reason has suddenly vanished, making me an idiot. freewebnøvel.coɱ

I bowed my head immediately I walked into the alphas chambers, swallowing saliva when Nikolai stepped out, leaving me with the alphas.

"What are you?" Alpha Thor asked and I was perplexed. Was he joking? Was he trying to make a fool out of me?

"I... I don’t understand, Alpha." My lips quivered as I stammered.

Alpha Thor rose as he walked towards me, making my knees buckle as I tried to remain standing.

"Why did I recover so fast? I was injured, it was deadly and even the doctor had no solution but you stepped in and everything changed, why?" He demanded and I swallowed, trying to think of how to carefully answer his question.

"I... I think it’s your wolf... He healed after you were pleasured for a while. I heard pleasure calms the wolf." I answered and he chuckled.

"Not this time around, there’s something about your blood you’re not saying." He announced.
