Chapter 259: Chapter 259 Three Days Too Long

Christina’s POV

Hudson gestured toward the cherry-red convertible with a grin.

"Ours," he corrected, opening the passenger door for me.

"Like it? Consider it an early wedding gift."

I slid into the buttery leather seat, admiring the polished dashboard. "When did you have time to arrange this?"

"I have people," Hudson replied mysteriously, sliding behind the wheel. His large frame fit perfectly in the driver’s seat.

The engine roared to life, turning heads along the Paris street.

"So, tell me what really brought you to Paris," I said, watching his profile. "Because I know it wasn’t just to rescue me from annoying fashion people."

"Can’t I surprise my mate?" His lip quirked.

"You’ve never done anything without multiple reasons," I countered, adjusting my sunglasses. "Tell me."

"Fine." Hudson accelerated as we merged onto a wider boulevard. "The court ruled on Franklin’s case this morning."

I sat up straighter. "My father? Already?"

"Seven years," he stated flatly. "Embezzlement, tax fraud, forged records. It’s official." frёewebηovel.cѳm

"Seven years?" My stomach twisted.

Hudson nodded. "The Vances are scrambling to sell the house just to cover the lawyer’s fees."

I stared at the passing buildings, processing the news.

My father, the man who’d controlled every aspect of my life, who’d disliked me, was going to prison.

"How do you feel?" Hudson asked, his voice gentler.

"I honestly don’t know." I sighed. "Relieved? Happy? But not exactly... satisfied."

"That makes sense." Hudson reached over to squeeze my hand. "The important part is they can’t hurt you anymore. Caroline’s moving away. That Chapter is closed."

Hudson’s eyes flashed protectively. "No one threatens our Luna."

I laced my fingers through his. "Thank you."

"For what?" He frowned. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop thanking me for doing what’s right?"

"Right. Sorry." I smirked. "Old habits."

Looking around, I realized we weren’t heading toward our hotel. "This isn’t the way back."

"Because we’re not going back." Hudson’s mouth curved. "I booked us somewhere else."

"What was wrong with the perfectly lovely hotel Fabrizio arranged?"

"Everything." His jaw tightened. "I want a place that’s just ours."

I rolled my eyes but couldn’t help smiling. Possessive Alpha behavior was part of who Hudson was.

"You know normal people call ahead before changing plans," I teased.

"When have we ever been normal?" he countered.

The car pulled up outside a stunning limestone building with ornate iron balconies and a sleek black awning.

"This doesn’t look like a hotel," I observed, taking in the upscale entrance.

"Boutique hotel." Hudson handed the keys to a uniformed attendant. "Top floor suite."

The elevator carried us upward in comfortable silence, though I could feel the tension building between us.

The elevator opened directly into our suite. Hudson barely waited for the doors to close before pushing me against the wall, his mouth finding mine in a hungry kiss.

"You hung up on me last night," he growled against my lips, teeth grazing my lower lip. "Time to finish that conversation."

His chin felt rough against my skin as his lips moved to my neck.

"Three days shouldn’t feel this long," I breathed as his hands gripped my waist.

Hudson lifted me effortlessly, and I wrapped my legs around his hips, feeling how much he wanted me. "For an Alpha separated from his mate, three hours is torture."

He carried me to the bedroom, his eyes turning that stormy blue.

"Goddess your eyes," I whispered, tracing his cheekbone. "If I could turn them into gemstones, they’d be worth more than the Hope Diamond."

Hudson stopped, then laughed softly. "That’s what you’re thinking about right now? Jewelry design?"

"Occupational hazard," I grinned. "Your eyes are incredible."

"Want to know what I’m thinking about?" His voice got rougher.

"Tell me."

Instead of answering, he pressed his hips against mine, the message unmistakable.

"Take your clothes off," he commanded softly.

When an Alpha used that tone, resistance was futile, not that I wanted to resist.

"You’ll have to put me down first," I said, licking my lips.

He laid me on the bed with surprising gentleness, then covered my body with his much larger frame. His kiss deepened, tongue exploring my mouth with confident strokes.

The mint of his toothpaste mingled with my champagne from earlier, creating an intoxicating taste. My hands moved to his jacket, pushing it off his broad shoulders.

Hudson pulled back just enough to help me unzip my dress. The material whispered down my body, followed by my bra. His gaze traveled over me, possessive and hungry.

I tugged at his shirt impatiently, popping a button in my haste.

"You need sturdier buttons," I muttered against his chest.

"I’ll tell my tailor," he replied with amusement, lowering his head to take my nipple into his mouth.

His tongue circled the sensitive peak while his hand cupped my other breast. The contrast between his soft lips and slightly rough hands sent electricity through my veins.

I fumbled with his belt buckle, unzipping his pants and pushing down his boxers. His erection sprang free, hot and heavy against my thigh.

Before I could touch him, he shifted down my body, parting my thighs with purpose.

"My turn first," he insisted, his eyes never leaving mine as he slipped a finger inside me.

I gasped at the sensation, arching my back when he curved his finger just right.

"Already so wet for me," he murmured appreciatively.

"Hudson," I pleaded, pulling at his hair.

He didn’t let me finish, replacing his fingers with his mouth. I nearly came undone immediately, my legs trembling as he worked me with his tongue.

"Goddess—" I moaned, clutching the sheets. The pressure built rapidly, crashing over me in waves. I came with a cry, my body shaking uncontrollably.

Hudson disappeared briefly, returning with a condom that he put on quickly.

"Wait," I panted, still sensitive from my orgasm.

"You want me to stop?" His voice was strained, his control hanging by a thread.

"Just give me a second." I took a deep breath, then hooked my legs around his waist. "Now."

He thrust into me, filling me completely. I cried out, pleasure shooting through me like electricity.

My fingers dug into the dimples at the base of his spine.

He went rigid for a second, shuddered, then moved faster, his rhythm turning urgent.

His eyes glazed over, hot and unfocused.

Sounds I didn’t recognize came from me, urging him on, harder, deeper.

When he finally came, I followed immediately, the world blinking out momentarily as stars exploded behind my eyes.

"I love you, Christina," Hudson whispered into my ear as we both caught our breath.I don’t know if I responded.

Everything was a blur, I can’t remember a thing.
