Chapter 1284: Chapter 85: Reclaiming Lost Ground (Part 3)
"Bologue?"
"Bologue!"
Like a virus spreading, one Furya greeted him, and then all the nearby Furyas turned to him one by one and waved hello.
Bologue felt like a star in a performance, waving and greeting his fans one by one.
"Who is this?"
"Haven’t seen them before?"
"Hello!"
The Furyas noticed Aimou beside Bologue, and then they gathered around like little chicks, chirping.
"So exquisite," one Furya whispered.
"Yes, such a delicate puppet."
Aimou looked expressionless at the approaching Furyas, sighed helplessly, and then changed her posture, her Steel Body replacing the flesh.
The Furyas were momentarily stunned, then one by one, they panicked.
"Ahhh! It’s transformed! Transformed again!"
"How strange, it’s both like a human and like a puppet?"
The Furyas shifted their attention from Bologue to Aimou, maintaining a distance, their curious gazes flickering, followed by a soft question.
"Can I touch it?"
Aimou helplessly covered her head and raised her arm, allowing them to explore while she introduced herself, "Hello everyone, I’m Aimou."
"Hello, Aimou."
"So interesting, Aimou."
"So, what exactly are you, Aimou?"
The Furyas bombarded her with questions, and Aimou suddenly felt enormous pressure, even a bit breathless. That’s when Bologue stepped in to stop them.
"There’s plenty of time to get to know the new friend later," Bologue felt like he was babysitting, "but for now, you should focus on your work, can you meet the deadline?"
When it came to the deadline, the Furyas appeared tense, and after a brief hello to the two, they turned to join the crowd, continuing to issue orders.
"What do you think?" Bologue asked.
"The little helpers are... a bit too enthusiastic," Aimou was not good with passionate people, let alone a group of them, "they remind me of Belli."
"Oh, that’s pretty bad for you, then."
Bologue and Aimou stood side by side, looking ahead, "But I think it’s fine; they’re still learning. See, those Furyas over there seem much more composed."
Following Bologue’s finger, Aimou could spot the more distinctive Furyas among the group. To call them distinctive, the difference was merely that they wore conspicuous red hats.
They acted like foremen, directing the other Furyas and staff. Everyone was busy at the Outpost, and with their efforts, the Outpost had undergone a significant transformation, such as the elevator door that led to the Ruins District.
Now, the elevator door had become a wide-open gate, with tracks laid upon it, stretching into the murky darkness.
Bologue said, "Before being assigned to various departments, the Furyas’ primary task is to rebuild the Ruins District."
"And what about Hart?" Aimou didn’t see Hart’s figure.
"He’s over there."
Bologue pointed to the other end of the crowd. Aimou squinted her eyes, barely making out the tall figure among the Furyas, carrying steel beams and helping build the passage with others.
"In the eyes of the Furyas, Hart is a living person. The Furyas really like this big guy, so Mamo sent Hart to communicate with the Furyas about work."
Bologue commented, "After all, communicating with humans is always more reassuring than with all sorts of strange things."
Aimou nodded half-understandingly, while Hart in the crowd looked quite disheveled.
