Chapter 322: Chapter 313: The Old Man (Part 2)
BAM!
He fell flat on his back.
The pig-headed man didn’t even have a chance to speak again before he felt that same pain a dozen more times.
It felt like every bone in his body had been shattered, or even broken!
Agonized grunts escaped the pig-headed man’s mouth.
"You detestable human, you lowly human, how dare you—"
Before he could finish, CRACK, CRACK. CRACK, CRACK.
The pig-headed man could no longer move his legs at all.
A heart-wrenching scream made the other figures that had appeared in the courtyard suddenly shudder.
Then they turned to look at the pig-headed man being dealt with by Wen Ying.
Suddenly, an older man who looked human ran toward Wen Ying.
He had a fawning smile on his face, his eyes narrowed into slits. He clearly wasn’t a good person.
"Such a capable little girl, hahaha! How about you play with me?"
Hmm, he seemed a bit deranged.
Wen Ying looked at the old man who had appeared before her. "Alright. What should we play?"
"Let’s play knucklebones!"
The old man looked smugly at Wen Ying. ’This little girl probably doesn’t even know what knucklebones are, does she?’
"Okay, let’s play knucklebones. But where are the knucklebones?"
The old man glanced triumphantly at the person crouching in front of a flowerpot. "Number Five, get over here!"
The figure, crouching in front of the flowerpot with a lowered head that obscured their form, suddenly shuddered at the sound of that voice.
They nearly collapsed onto the ground.
"Hurry up! You hear me?!"
The person crouching in front of the flowerpot suddenly stood up and turned around.
[Holy shit! First a pig-headed man, and now a Sheep-legged Man? What the hell are these things in this mental hospital?]
[Do monsters like a pig-headed man and a Sheep-legged Man really exist in the world?]
[I remember watching a TV show as a kid. In it, a man abducted a little boy and raised him like a monkey, even sewing a monkey’s tail and fur onto the boy’s body, including his ears, mouth, and so on. Back in those days, people were so ignorant they actually believed someone like that could exist. The little boy suffered terribly and died later on.]
[That reminds me of a news story I saw. It said that some abducted children have their limbs cut off and are then forced to beg in crowded places. It’s so tragic.]
[This Doctor Wen couldn’t be involved with those human traffickers, could she? Oh my god!]
[To the person above, if you’re not using your brain, I suggest you donate it, okay? How can you show your face in public while spouting such filth?]
[What time do you think this is? You haters are everywhere! If the Fog really descends and devours the places we live, you should be grateful to Doctor Wen for showing you what’s inside it! You people have no conscience or humanity!]
[Is the Fog filled with these kinds of bizarre creatures? I’m scared just watching through the screen. If I ever met one in real life, I’d probably be the first person to die of fright!]
[Doesn’t this just go to show how great Doctor Wen is? For timid people, watching Doctor Wen’s stream today can help build courage. It might even save your life someday.]
[Don’t worry, everyone. I’m recording today’s stream. I’ll upload the video online later, so be sure to follow me.]
The person with two sheep legs and hooves walked toward the old man, their face filled with anxiety.
Their pace was slow, each step covering just a tiny distance.
They were clearly terrified.
The old man shot the Sheep-legged Man an impatient look. With just that one glance, the Sheep-legged Man scurried over as if he’d been shot up with a stimulant. Two streams of tears, however, rolled down from the corners of his eyes.
The old man was very displeased. He reached out, grabbed one of his legs, and flipped the Sheep-legged Man a full one hundred and eighty degrees.
"Stop dilly-dallying. I’m just taking some knucklebones from you."
As he spoke, everyone in the live stream chat witnessed an extremely bloody scene.
The old man’s technique was swift and clean. He’d already severed one of the Sheep-legged Man’s feet.
Fresh blood soaked the ground like a small stream. The old man’s hand was like a blade.
The Sheep-legged Man grimaced in unbearable pain, but he didn’t dare make a single sound. His body just kept trembling uncontrollably.
Even through the live stream, everyone could feel his bone-deep agony.
[This old guy is a ruthless one! That move... he’s not a butcher, is he?]
[Bullshit! I’m a butcher too, and I could never do something so cold-blooded. Besides, that technique doesn’t look like any of ours.]
[Could this old guy be a hidden boss? Why else would this Sheep-legged NPC be so afraid of him? Something feels off.]
