Chapter 2606: Chapter 79: Return to Europe
From the moment Molly Wellington entered the private room, Abraham Redington’s gaze never left her.
She had changed a lot, her black hair had grown longer, her features had become colder, and those once-laughing almond-shaped eyes skimmed over him as if he didn’t exist, without pause.
Abraham Redington sat there, waiting for when Molly Wellington would notice him.
But, after waiting for a long time, he saw her almost taken advantage of, saw her being protected by Charles Taylor in his embrace.
He saw her calmly face it, her pretty face no longer showing the panic of her childhood.
It was as if she had matured immensely overnight, becoming... someone who no longer needed his protection.
"If Royal Palace wants to acquire Stellar Haven, it must have my approval." Abraham Redington said this in a deep, magnetic voice for reasons unknown.
Upon hearing his words, Molly Wellington finally turned her head to look at him.
Those sharp almond-shaped eyes paused on his face for a moment.
Immediately after, Abraham Rich saw Molly Wellington turn and say to Charles Taylor beside her, "Mr. Taylor... I suggest we let go of Stellar Haven."
Charles Taylor: "..."
Molly Wellington glanced at him, "What, does Mr. Taylor have any objections?"
"No, no, Miss... Secretary Wellington’s suggestion is very good. So, now we..."
Aren’t we supposed to at least greet Abraham Redington?
Charles Taylor didn’t dare to say what he was thinking.
After all, they were relatives and acquaintances, having not seen each other for years, it wouldn’t be good to pretend not to know each other in such a sudden encounter, right?
But Charles Taylor was aware of the ’old affection’ between Abraham Redington and Molly Wellington.
Though he feared Abraham Redington, he had also ’endured a lot of hardship’ under Molly Wellington over the past two years, and even if given ten chances, he wouldn’t dare to offend this lady.
"Since there’s no business talk, why stay in this smoky place." Molly Wellington, with a cold expression, glanced meaningfully at the young girls dressed skimpily in the corner.
Ray Mckinley couldn’t bear it and wanted to explain, "Miss Wellington, those are all arranged by Sophie..."
Molly Wellington paid no attention to Ray Mckinley’s explanation, effectively ignoring Abraham Redington and everyone he brought along.
She walked straight out.
Seeing Charles Taylor standing there, not daring to move in the face of Abraham Redington’s gloomy expression, she furrowed her brows, "Charles Taylor, let’s go."
"Oh, coming... coming..." Charles Taylor nodded at Abraham Redington, then made a gesture to Ray Mckinley, indicating that he should say something good on his behalf and mediate the situation, before finally stepping out.
Before long, the private room, which had been extremely lively earlier, suddenly became quiet.
Abraham Redington sat there expressionless, his whole being seemingly shrouded in shadow.
Suddenly, the man stood up, strode over to the tea table, and picked up the equity transfer agreement.
"Young master, what shall we do now?" Ray Mckinley saw that Abraham Redington’s gaze was on the equity transfer agreement in his hand, his expression unpredictable, leaving one guessing, and dared to speak up reluctantly.
Abraham Redington ignored him, simply furrowing his brows slightly, something flickered across the blue depths of his eyes.
After a moment, he handed the equity transfer agreement to Ray Mckinley, "Prepare, we’re heading back to Europe tomorrow."
"Huh?" Ray Mckinley showed a surprised expression.
They had just arrived, why were they going back so soon... didn’t the young master say that they came this time to develop deeply in H city?
Seeing Abraham Redington about to walk out of the private room, Ray Mckinley quickly asked: "What about Sophie, should she sleep here or be sent back?"
Upon hearing Ray Mckinley’s words, the man stopped.
He suddenly turned his head back, using a somewhat sinister look to glance at Sophie, who was sleeping on the sofa like a dead log.
