Yara Ross was furious at Eleanor Bishop’s words, but she couldn’t show it.
Eleanor Bishop reached for a towel, casually wiped her face, and walked out of the restroom.
She didn’t return to her room. Instead, she left the house.
Seeing Eleanor about to leave, Yara Ross followed close behind and asked uneasily, "Eleanor, where are you going?"
"Mom, I’m just going out for a walk to clear my head." ’If I stay in this house any longer, I’ll go crazy.’

"Come back early, then. We still have to go to your grandfather’s house tonight," Yara Ross said, worried.
"I’m not going to Grandfather’s."
"Eleanor, it’s your grandfather’s seventy-third birthday. Isn’t it rude for you not to go?"
Eleanor Bishop sneered and retorted, "Mom, Grandfather didn’t even invite us to his birthday party. Isn’t it a bit tactless for us to just show up uninvited?"
Hearing Eleanor Bishop’s words, Yara Ross’s hands clenched into tight fists as she fought the urge to rush over and slap her.
"Eleanor, it’s your grandfather’s birthday. Does he really need to send a formal invitation? Of course we have to go."
"Go by yourself. I’m not interested," Eleanor Bishop said coldly before turning and walking out the door.
Once she was out the main gate, Eleanor Bishop finally let out a sigh of relief, feeling as if she had come back to life.
