Chapter 479: Chapter 479: Say I Love You From This Moment On (79)

Mae Lynch wiped away her tears and began to speak. "Penny was your biological aunt. She passed away when you were still very young, so it’s perfectly normal that you don’t remember her."

"My aunt? I have an aunt?" Tristan Grayson looked at his mother in surprise.

"Yes. Back in the day, your aunt was the most beautiful and talented woman in all of Tridell. She was proud and aloof, and always treated everything with an air of nonchalance."

Listening to Mae Lynch’s words, Caleb Grayson clenched his fists and shot up from the sofa. "That’s enough. Don’t say another word about all that. Tristan, I called you here today to tell you something. Your aunt has a son who is still alive."

"Dad, what do you want me to do? Find him?"

Caleb Grayson said, his voice thick with emotion, "There’s no need to look for him. He’s already back. What’s more, we’ve all met him."

"We’ve met him? I’ve met him too?"

"Yes, Tristan. How can there be such a coincidence in this world? Archie Summers... he’s your aunt’s biological son."

’Archie Summers? Archie Lockwood? How could it possibly be him?’

Tristan Grayson’s expression turned grim, his eyes filled with a complex mix of emotions.

"I saw Archie Lockwood today. He’s definitely Archie Summers! I just can’t believe it. The son our in-laws adopted turns out to be your aunt’s biological son."

"Dad, are you sure you didn’t get it wrong? How could Archie Lockwood possibly be my aunt’s son?" Thinking of the kind of person Archie Lockwood was, Tristan felt a sense of reluctance.

’I can’t stand Archie Lockwood. That guy is always trying to break Mika and me apart.’

"How could we be wrong? Julius Lockwood’s son is Archie Lockwood, and Archie Lockwood is your aunt’s son! Even if we made a mistake, that bastard Julius Lockwood couldn’t possibly be mistaken!" Caleb Grayson continued angrily. "Tristan, I didn’t call you here today just to tell you this. I also need you to investigate someone for me."

"Who?" Tristan Grayson asked in a cold voice, suppressing his unease.

"Jason Lockwood!"

"Jason Lockwood? Why do you want to investigate him?"

"I suspect he wants to harm Archie."

After Tristan Grayson agreed, he went upstairs.

When he got to his room and saw Rory, he was suddenly struck by an amusing thought...

’Before, this child was completely unrelated to me. Now, all of a sudden, we’re related in some small way.’

He furrowed his brow and glanced at the woman lying on the bed reading a book. He didn’t know if he should tell her.

’He could barely believe it himself...’

Mika Summers placed her book on the nightstand and looked up at Tristan Grayson, asking with concern, "How did it go? Are your parents done fighting?"

"Yeah, they’re not fighting anymore." Tristan Grayson walked over, sat down beside Mika, and simply stared at her in a daze.

Mika flushed, feeling a little uncomfortable. She smiled and said, "What is it? Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Just admiring how beautiful my wife is."

Hearing this, Mika blushed and crossed her arms, feigning anger. "Don’t be ridiculous. Tell me the truth, are you hiding something from me?"

"Ahem, you saw right through me," Tristan Grayson admitted sheepishly, rubbing his nose in embarrassment.

"Come on, tell me. What’s wrong? Why were your parents fighting?"

"It’s nothing major, really. It’s just... I suddenly have a cousin."

Mika furrowed her brow. "A cousin?"

"Yeah. And he’s... probably... possibly... your brother."

"What? Tristan, are you sure you’re not joking?"
