Chapter 468: Chapter 468: From This Moment On, I’ll Say I Love You
’That woman said she knew me, but I don’t remember her at all.’
Eleanor Bishop shook her head, forcing herself to stop thinking about it. No matter what, that woman had saved her.
She hurried to the road, hailed a taxi, and left.
The next day, when Leon Warren and his men woke up, they discovered Eleanor Bishop was gone.
The men were furious and frustrated, but they didn’t dare tell the Baron. If they told him, they’d be dead meat.
Gia Miller watched them seething, kicking tables and arguing. A cold smile touched her lips. She picked up the pack of cigarettes from the table, sat on the bed, and started smoking one after another.
Leon Warren seemed to realize something and whirled around to face Gia Miller. "You little... slut... how can you be so calm?"
They had lost the person the Baron wanted, yet Gia Miller could just sit there smoking so calmly.
Gia Miller tossed her cigarette butt onto the floor. In a cold voice, she said, "What’s there to be afraid of? The Baron wouldn’t dare do anything to us."
"Oh? So you’re not afraid?"
"He won’t lay a hand on us until we’ve finished the job for him."
"That’s true," Leon Warren said, nodding with a cold smile. He also pulled out a cigarette and lit it.

Eleanor Bishop had gotten home late last night, so Yara Ross hadn’t waited up for her.
The next morning, however, Yara Ross saw the shoes by the door and immediately started yelling in the living room.
’This is getting ridiculous. How dare she come back and not wake me?’
Hearing the yelling outside, Eleanor Bishop endured the pain wracking her body and sat up. She saw that Rory, sleeping beside her, had also been woken up. Forcing a smile, she shook her head and said, "It’s okay, Rory. Lie down and go back to sleep."
"Mommy, what happened to your face?" Rory peeked out from under the covers, reaching up with a small hand to touch Eleanor’s face as she asked fearfully.
"Mommy’s fine." At her daughter’s words, Eleanor’s eyes welled with tears as she spoke, her voice thick with emotion.
"Mommy, did someone hurt you?" Rory asked, starting to cry. "Does it hurt?"
"It doesn’t hurt. If Rory gives Mommy a kiss, then it won’t hurt anymore." The thought that she had almost been unable to return to Rory made Eleanor break down in tears. She hugged Rory tightly, her voice a choked laugh as she spoke.
"Okay, Rory will give Mommy a kiss. Then Mommy won’t hurt. Mommy, don’t cry." Rory sobbed, puckering her lips to kiss Eleanor’s cheek.
Eleanor hugged Rory tightly. "You’re such a good girl. As long as Mommy has you, nothing hurts."
Yara Ross had been yelling outside for a while. When her daughter didn’t come out, she stormed into the room in a huff. The first thing she saw was Eleanor and Rory, wrapped in each other’s arms, crying on the bed.
Her anger flared. "Eleanor, what is this? Are you fed up with me now?" ’She’d only said a few words, and here her daughter was, hiding in her room and crying.’
"Mom, that’s not it. I just wanted a little more time with Rory."
Yara Ross suppressed her anger and asked, "You were gone for so long yesterday. What happened? Did Jason agree to help us?"
"Mom, Jason Lockwood... he’s even more cruel than I ever imagined. He won’t help us. I’m never going to him again." ’He even sent people to kidnap me.’
"Eleanor, how could Jason not help us? He’s always liked you the most." ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
"How could he possibly like me? Mom, please don’t say things like that ever again."
