After being shoved into the car, Amelia Avery saw the two women she had just beaten up in the restroom.
One of the women shot her a vicious glare. "Amelia Avery, I told you. Our people are all outside. There’s no escape for you."
"Heh..." Amelia Avery’s lips curled into a cold smirk. She wasn’t the least bit afraid.
She simply crossed her arms over her chest and calmly leaned back against the seat.
Seeing Amelia Avery looking so composed, the woman was instantly infuriated and raised her hand to strike her.
The man shot out a hand and caught the woman’s wrist, ordering coldly, "Stop it."
The woman angrily retracted her hand.
Amelia Avery watched the woman’s thwarted expression, and the smile on her lips grew wider. Her eyes, however, held a complex and chilling glint.
They drove Amelia Avery to an abandoned cement factory.
The car door opened, and the man grabbed Amelia Avery, forcibly yanking her out. Once she was out of the car, Amelia powerfully wrenched her arm from his grasp and said coldly, "You don’t have to bother. I can walk on my own."
"Heh, quite the personality. Well then, Miss Avery, let’s go." The man chuckled, releasing Amelia’s arm.
Amelia followed them into the factory. The moment she saw the woman sitting inside, it all made sense.
The woman got up and strode quickly toward Amelia. Just as she drew near, she abruptly swung her hand toward Amelia’s face. Amelia reacted instantly, raising her own hand to clamp down on her attacker’s arm. "Gia Miller, are you fucking looking to die!" she snarled.
"Amelia Avery, you’re not dead! You’re actually not dead!!!!" Gia Miller furiously tore her arm from Amelia’s grasp, her eyes bloodshot as she raged.
At her words, Amelia sneered. "If you, Gia Miller, are still alive, why on earth would I be dead?"
"Amelia Avery, today is the day you die!" Gia’s entire body trembled with rage.
’Amelia Avery isn’t dead. She’s actually not dead. After turning me into this, she’s still alive...’
’Why? Why is a woman like Amelia Avery even allowed to live in this world...’
Gia clenched her fists. "Tie her up! I’m going to make her experience every single thing I suffered! Amelia Avery, you owe me, and today, I’m collecting it all!"
The words had barely left her mouth when the other men moved to hold Amelia down.
Amelia struggled against them, shouting furiously, "Gia Miller, you psycho! If you dare to lay a finger on me, I’ll kill you!"
"Amelia Avery, I forgave all your unreasonable tantrums in the past because you were young and didn’t know any better. But... you... how could you be so vicious? Getting me hooked on drugs... forcing me to do all those disgusting things..."
Every time Gia thought back on those painful memories, she was filled with a murderous hatred...
"Gia Miller, cut the crap. You think I don’t know about those disgusting ideas of yours?" ’Cassian might have been fooled by her, but I see her with perfect clarity.’
Gia Miller raised her hand. SLAP—! A heavy blow landed squarely on Amelia’s face. "I never thought about doing anything with Cassian."
