Chapter 362: Chapter 362: Bringing the Fight to Their Doorstep

Having broken through to a Tier Three Demon Beast and survived the Celestial Punishment, Little Ape’s strength was now not to be underestimated. Coupled with its heaven-defying bloodline, its combat prowess was nearly on par with Lin Yun’s.

Facing this group, Little Ape completely unleashed its tyrannical side. Anyone it got its hands on was either sent flying with a single punch or had their limbs snapped.

Lin Yun had said it was fine as long as it didn’t kill them. Now capable of human speech, Little Ape naturally knew who Lu Bingning and Lan Xi were—they were its sisters-in-law. The way these men had treated the two women had infuriated Little Ape as well.

Instantly, the area was splattered with blood. This group stood no chance against Little Ape. Even when they attacked, Little Ape would either dodge their blows or simply blast them away.

In the first exchange alone, Little Ape sent two men flying with two punches and then proceeded to snap the limbs of five more. Staring up at the over three-meter-tall creature, the men were terrified. ’This is a peerless, ferocious beast!’

Reveling in the thrill of bloodshed, the bloodthirsty look on Little Ape’s face intensified. To the Direct Disciples, the scene had already become a one-sided slaughter.

Little Ape’s dominance sent a chill down their spines. Not daring to fight it, four or five of them turned their attention to Lin Yun. To them, Lin Yun, who was only at the Sixth Layer of Primordial Ocean Realm, seemed like a much easier target than Little Ape.

Without a second thought, the four or five men charged at Lin Yun, little knowing they were rushing toward someone even more terrifying than Little Ape.

An icy smile bloomed on Lin Yun’s face; his methods were even more brutal. As one of the men threw a punch, Lin Yun grabbed his arm and, with a vicious yank, ripped the entire limb clean off his body.

Blood gushed out like a fountain. Casually tossing the severed limb aside, Lin Yun said impassively, "You should be thankful this is the Flawless Palace. Otherwise, all of you would die today."

With that, Lin Yun went on the offensive. He charged into the middle of the five men and proceeded to rip their arms off, one by one—wrenching each limb from its socket.

"AHHHH—!" Bloodcurdling screams echoed nonstop. The Lin Yun of this moment was utterly savage, showing absolutely no mercy.

It was no time for mercy. ’If I held back now, after they bullied my women like this, I wouldn’t be a man,’ Lin Yun thought. ’It seems I wasn’t vicious enough last time.’

Hiding in a nearby corner, Puzhu’s maid watched the blood-splattered scene, her face turning deathly pale. She never would have imagined that the seemingly handsome and cheerful Lin Yun could be so cruel when enraged.

Lin Yun’s methods were more agonizing than death. Just imagine: what would it feel like to have both of your arms ripped clean from your body?

Under the ferocious assault of Lin Yun and Little Ape, the dozen or so Direct Disciples were quickly crippled. The ones handled by Little Ape got off easy—they only had their arms broken. As for those who faced Lin Yun, their entire arms were torn off, and numerous severed limbs now lay scattered carelessly around him.

More than ten men lay on the ground, too broken to even whimper. From the start of the fight to its end, they never even had a chance to beg for mercy before they were all crippled.

Standing amidst the carnage, Lin Yun was utterly impassive. He was thoroughly enraged this time; their actions had crossed his bottom line.

Lu Bingning and Lan Xi heard the fighting and screams from outside. They emerged from Lu Bingning’s courtyard together, and the first thing they saw was a field of severed arms and men lying half-dead on the ground.

When they saw Lin Yun, both women ran to him. Looking at them, Lin Yun pulled them into his embrace and said guiltily, "I’m sorry."

"It’s not your fault. They were completely lawless," Lu Bingning said, shaking her head.

"As long as you’re both all right," Lin Yun said, nodding with a small smile.

Then, without giving the men on the ground a second glance, Lin Yun went with Lu Bingning and Lan Xi into their courtyard.

Sitting on a stone bench, Lin Yun looked at Little Ape. "Aren’t you going to greet them?" As he spoke, a rare smile graced his features.

Hearing this, Little Ape looked at Lu Bingning and Lan Xi. To their utter astonishment, it spoke, "Sisters-in-law."

Lu Bingning and Lan Xi were astounded that Little Ape could speak. They had never heard of a Tier Three Demon Beast that was capable of human speech.

After a long moment of shock, Lu Bingning and Lan Xi finally recovered. The group chatted for a while longer, during which Lin Yun told the two women he would be leaving for some time.

Hearing this, both women urged him to be careful and to take care of himself while he was away.

Since he still had things to attend to, Lin Yun left Lu Bingning’s courtyard shortly after. Once he was gone, Lu Bingning turned to Lan Xi with a hint of reproach. "Why didn’t you let me stop him? He’s definitely gone to find those guys."

Hearing this, Lan Xi smiled and replied, "What good would stopping him do? You know his temper. All we can do is trust him. Besides, after what happened, any man would be furious, let alone him. If we tried to stop him, wouldn’t that just disappoint him?"

"But what if he gets into serious trouble?" Lu Bingning asked, still worried after hearing Lan Xi’s words.

"He won’t," Lan Xi replied confidently. "And even if something does happen, do you really think the Main Seat Elder can do anything to him?"

Both women were exceptionally sharp and naturally knew what Lin Yun was off to do, but they didn’t stop him. For any man, not just Lin Yun, to not retaliate after something like this would simply make him a coward.

Just as the two women had guessed, Lin Yun had arrived at the gate of Senior Brother Zhang’s courtyard. He was dragging one of Senior Brother Zhang’s subordinates, whose arms had both been ripped from his body.

"Is this the place?" Lin Yun asked impassively.

"Yes, yes, Senior Brother Zhang is inside," the man replied, nodding in terror. He was only now realizing who—or rather, *what*—Lin Yun was. ’This guy is a devil who could kill without batting an eye!’

"Good," Lin Yun muttered to himself. Then, he kicked the courtyard gate wide open.

The instant the gate was kicked open, Senior Brother Zhang was in his courtyard with a young woman on his lap. It was obvious the two had just been intimately engaged.

Seeing Lin Yun stride in, Senior Brother Zhang didn’t panic. He unhurriedly straightened his clothes, while the young woman scrambled to cover herself.

Tossing the man he was holding aside, Lin Yun looked at Senior Brother Zhang, then glanced at the young woman. Judging by her attire, she was likely an Inner Sect Disciple.

"Get out," he snarled at the woman.

Hearing him, the woman felt the killing intent radiating off Lin Yun. After a glance at the armless disciple he had tossed aside, she didn’t say a word and scrambled out of Senior Brother Zhang’s courtyard.
