Chapter 356: Chapter 356: I’ll Beat All Comers Today

Lin Yun waited right there, showing no sign of leaving. At his feet, the lanky man and his cronies wailed in agony, each clutching their mouths.

More and more Direct Disciples gathered to watch, until nearly thirty of them were observing from a short distance away.

Lin Yun’s expression was calm. For him, dealing with this group was nothing to be proud of. He was waiting for the ones who sent them—they were the ones who truly deserved a beating.

He waited for less than fifteen minutes before a group of five men swaggered over menacingly. The leader wore a cold expression, and it was clear from his face that he was extremely displeased.

The watching Direct Disciples parted, clearing a path for the group of five. The leader, a man in his twenties with plain looks—neither handsome nor ugly—stopped directly in front of Lin Yun.

"Kid, you dare injure my men?" the man demanded as soon as he arrived, looking as if he wanted to eat Lin Yun alive.

"So, they were your errand boys?" Lin Yun asked casually. His gaze flickered to Lu Bingning and Lan Xi before he continued.

"Lu Bingning and Lan Xi are my women. I hear you’ve taken an interest in them. But today, I have something to tell you: stealing someone else’s beloved is hardly the act of a gentleman," Lin Yun said, his tone unhurried.

"Oh, I was wondering who this was. So you’re the coward who’s finally decided to come out of his shell." After hearing Lin Yun’s words, the man glanced at Lu Bingning and Lan Xi, a lustful gleam flashing in his eyes. He then turned back to Lin Yun and chuckled.

This guy had a reputation for being ruthless among the Direct Disciples. While not part of their top tier, he was considered someone that no one outside that elite group dared to provoke.

Facing Lin Yun now, he showed no fear whatsoever. ’I know that lanky punk and his friends all too well. Even if this guy beat them, it proves nothing. I could do the same.’

Lin Yun said nothing as the two stared calmly at each other. The man’s Cultivation was at the Seventh Layer of the Primordial Ocean Realm, while the men behind him were all at the Sixth Layer. ’Still,’ Lin Yun thought, ’judging by their auras, they’re quite a bit stronger than the lanky man and his crew.’

After a moment, Lin Yun couldn’t be bothered with any more nonsense. "So," he asked directly, "you’re determined to see this through to the bitter end?"

"And you think *you’re* the wall I’m going to hit?" the man sneered, looking at Lin Yun with contempt.

Now that it had come to this, Lin Yun knew words were useless. ’It seems they’ll only listen to my fists.’

As if by unspoken agreement, Elemental Power erupted from both Lin Yun and the man simultaneously. As expected of a Direct Disciple of Flawless Palace, the man’s Elemental Power, at the Seventh Layer of the Primordial Ocean Realm, was exceptionally stable and dense.

However, while that level of strength might be impressive against other geniuses, it was far from enough to face Lin Yun. Aside from his slightly lower Cultivation, Lin Yun’s current aptitude could only be described as that of a Demon Fiend.

In the world of Martial Artists, the saying "might makes right" held true everywhere. They attacked at almost the same instant, their fists colliding violently.

When Lin Yun threw a punch with his Black Steel Tyrant Fist, he seemed to transform into a sovereign king holding dominion over millions of lives, his entire being exuding a tyrannical aura.

In Lin Yun’s hands, the Black Steel Tyrant Fist had already begun to transcend its original boundaries. When he executed it, it was less a Martial Skill and more of a conceptual state—an intent of pure tyranny.

Their first exchange of blows ended in a draw. However, once Lin Yun went on the offensive, he was like a rampaging dragon, unleashing a torrential assault on his opponent.

At first, the man could barely withstand Lin Yun’s assault. But as the fight wore on, a sharp pain shot up his arm with every collision of their fists.

Just how strong was Lin Yun’s physical body? He possessed a Flawless Flesh Body at the Second Layer, which had been reforged by a Divine Ape Demon Core. Competing with Lin Yun in physical strength was simply suicidal.

The man quickly realized just how formidable Lin Yun’s body was. ’This isn’t a human body,’ he thought. ’It’s a humanoid tyrannosaur!’

Realizing the disparity in their physical prowess, the man created distance, no longer daring to clash head-on. Normally, with Lin Yun’s speed, his opponent wouldn’t have been able to escape his attack range. But Lin Yun let him. ’If you’re going to put someone in their place, you have to do it thoroughly,’ he mused. ’Break them until they completely lose their confidence.’

"Purple Mist Seal!" Having created some distance, the man unleashed Flawless Palace’s signature Martial Skill: the Purple Mist Seal.

With a thrust of his palm, a massive, purple-gold seal dozens of zhang in size materialized and came crashing down toward Lin Yun.

The Purple Mist Seal this man unleashed was on a completely different level from the one used by the Elder who had been in charge of the servant disciples.

This man had actually comprehended its True Intent, making it more than ten times stronger than the Elder’s version.

Faced with the incomparably mighty Purple Mist Seal, Lin Yun neither dodged nor retreated. He simply looked up at the descending seal and threw a fierce punch.

"Is he actually going to take the Purple Mist Seal head-on...?" Seeing Lin Yun’s action, the onlooking Direct Disciples rubbed their eyes in disbelief. ’Is he that arrogant? To think he can just tank the Purple Mist Seal!’

To the horrified shock of the crowd, Lin Yun’s Black Steel Tyrant Fist slammed into the Purple Mist Seal. Instantly, a brilliant light erupted from the point of impact, engulfing Lin Yun completely.

Rampant Energy surged outwards. Then, as everyone watched, the terrifyingly powerful Purple Mist Seal was brutally shattered by Lin Yun’s single punch.

He hadn’t just withstood it—he had blown it to pieces. He had completely crushed his opponent with absolute power.

"He... he actually shattered the Purple Mist Seal."

"Does that mean his Combat Power has already reached the top tier of the Direct Disciples?"

"That’s impossible."

The onlooking Disciples murmured in disbelief. There were over a hundred Direct Disciples in total, but the top tier—the strongest among them—consisted of only twelve people. Their Combat Power might be slightly weaker than that of the Core Disciples, but they were unquestionably the best among the Direct Disciples.

Even the man fighting him stared in utter disbelief as he watched Lin Yun destroy his Purple Mist Seal. It was as if he’d seen a ghost. ’Is he really that strong?’

’I’m a genius, there’s no doubt about it,’ he thought. ’Otherwise, a Main Seat Elder of Flawless Palace wouldn’t have accepted me as his Disciple. But facing Lin Yun... for the first time, I feel utterly crushed.’

’I’m no match for him in close combat; his body is terrifyingly powerful. And my Martial Skills are useless—he shattered my Purple Mist Seal with a single punch.’

Looking at the man, who was standing there in a daze, a cold glint appeared in Lin Yun’s eyes. His voice was like ice as he spoke, "Lu Bingning and Lan Xi are my women. Today, I’ll see just how many people have designs on them. However many come, that’s how many I’ll beat down."
