Chapter 33: I Can Smell His Seed Inside You, Inquisitor
Maya Sirius’s head snapped back once, and she smiled. "You have a very large mouth for a creature that shouldn’t exist."
Crimson ice billowed from her lips, causing the marble beneath her feet to turn into frost.
Bone crackled in her right arm as she pulled it back slightly. ’I will erase you like I did with every single one of the thousand men that had risen to challenge me, making you the extra.’
Glowing crimson light sparked at the tips of her long, sharp fingernails as she closed them together and aimed them at the center of Levi’s throat.
Senna squeezed her thighs and clutched her reddened face with her palms while staring at the moving fingernails with blood-veined eyes. ’Please don’t kill him. Please.’
Lyra closed her eyes so as not to watch, but her mind kept on reeling with images of the aftermath, causing thin tears to trail down her face.
Saintess Lilith’s sparkling Aether flashed out of her eyes as she propelled herself a step forward.
The moment a smile splashed on the elders’ faces, a loud banging sound echoed and caused every action to freeze.
Leaves lying flat on the ground at the front of the High Inquisitor’s tower plummeted open and smacked against the sides of the tower walls.
Three paladins wearing side-clicking white robes rushed out with their hands placed on the hilts of their swords.
A sharp vibration lanced through the ground as Mother Beatrice stepped out of the tower’s gate and into the courtyard.
Eyes calmed when rays of her golden robes stretched across the courtyard like a second Aethermoor sun.
Maya’s fingernails remained static at the peak of Levi’s throat, and she hissed before tilting her head.
A loud stone-cracking sound erupted as Mother Beatrice struck the stone floor with her golden staff. "Sovereign Maya."
Maya drew her hand back and closed her eyes, then sighed with dissatisfaction. Sharp clicking sounds echoed as she closed her fingers and clenched her arm into a fierce fist.
Cloth-swaying sounds echoed as the tip of Mother Beatrice’s golden robes swept across the ground as she walked toward Maya and Levi. "The Holy Capital does not permit unauthorized executions. Let alone within the academy grounds."
A wave of a concussive blast shattered all the chains, causing the air to hitch and releasing every reddened face to calmness. "Levi is currently under my personal investigation."
Maya’s crimson eyes sparkled when she cracked her eyes open and locked them on Beatrice’s. "Your investigation, Inquisitor?"
A mocking smile spread on her lips as she squared her shoulders. "Don’t lie to me. I can smell the stench of his seed inside you from here."
Maya’s chest heaved as she laughed and brushed her left palm over her face. "You’ve already been broken by this little beast. Inquisitor, or let’s say, a whore..."
Heat flashed across Mother Beatrice’s face when she noticed the elders leaning on each other’s shoulders and whispering words only they could hear. ’I don’t need to show anger right away; else they will believe everything Maya is saying.’
Mother Beatrice forced a smile onto her face and closed the distance. The mark on the skin of her upper left breast burned when she anchored herself closer to the Crimson Sovereign and a few meters away from Levi.
Lyra cleared her throat and stepped up. "The academy rules state that any dispute between high-tier entities must only be resolved in a formal duel."
She positioned herself by Levi’s side and gave Mother Beatrice a silent wink. She placed her hand on the hilt of her dark longsword when the Crimson Sovereign whipped a sharp glare toward her. ’Let’s see what she does since Mother Beatrice is now here to help.’
Sharp gasps seeped out of the elders and the students when Senna Drae, the half-blood and the rebel, intervened and lined up at Levi’s left side.
Her fluffy, kissable lips brushed against Levi’s left ear when she leaned in. "I won’t go anywhere this time; so, don’t try commanding me."
’So he has all three of these ladies on his side already.’ Maya glanced at Mother Beatrice, Lyra Ashveil, and Senna Drae, then smiled. ’That’s an interesting and most useful way of making me wipe them all out.’
Waves of alien energy surged through her bones when her obsession attraction began to tingle in her cold heart.
Levi nodded once and raised his shoulder calmly when Maya Sirius looked at him. ’Do me the honor and activate her Obsession.’
Just as he lowered his shoulders, the blue panel shimmered before his eyes.

’That will be nice in a few minutes.’ Levi blinked once and shifted his gaze to Lilith Orin, who stood there with trembling legs. ’Why don’t you join me like your sisters, my little one.’
A sharp clapping sound echoed as Maya Sirius tapped her fingers and turned toward Lyra. "A duel. You’re serious?"
Her crimson silk gown rustled as she laughed and focused fully on Levi. "Very well. I will play your little academic game, Senior Battle Mage."
She swung her neck twice and walked toward her carriage. "Tomorrow at dawn, in the Grand Arena."
She turned and focused harshly on Saintess Lilith’s trembling, lewd body. "If he survives three strikes from my Crimson Blade..."
Maya Sirius shook her head and pivoted her focus from Lilith to Mother Beatrice. "I will let him live as my pet."
Gasps lifted upward from the students, but the elders smiled with joy.
’This lady has some nerve.’ Levi moved a step forward and slowly cracked his neck. "And if I lose?"
’What a pity he’s the one asking it. I knew he would lose, so let me give him a little of my punishment.’ Maya Sirius smiled with dark satisfaction as her gown rustled. "I will dissect your core and feed it to my beasts."
She turned and brushed the fur of her crimson-winged beast while her gaze trawled between the four ladies who had had their energies corrupted by Levi.
Levi coughed once to clear his throat, drawing all attention to him. "One strike is all I need to make you crawl and beg, Maya."
Maya’s crimson-winged beasts lifted their heads sharply when Maya’s smile vanished from her face and was replaced with anticipation. ’That’s something I heard years ago.’
She entered her carriage and vanished, leaving the courtyard filled with the lingering pressure of her blood-red magic that strikes without care. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
Lilith Orin walked sluggishly toward Lyra when the elders went back to their towers laughing.
Levi sighed and brushed his palms against his chest. He turned and straightened his shoulders when he saw all four women standing together. "We have a lot of work to do tonight."
He turned and folded his arms over his chest while keeping his eyes locked on the crystal-glowing, late afternoon sky. "I need more Aether before dawn comes."
