Chapter 1465: Chapter 58: Gate’s Inhabitants (Part 4)
And within the gate, a shadow about as tall as Fisher faintly emerged, like it was standing on the other side of the gate, slowly approaching the door.
"..."
Fisher, holding Emhardt in his arms, cautiously took a step back, keeping a close eye on the silhouette as it came nearer, until it was fully revealed...
Upon seeing the figure, Fisher was completely dumbfounded, frozen in place.
The figure in the gate was about the same height as him, but her build was slightly more slender...
The "slightly more slender" description was actually a stark understatement, their physiques were worlds apart.
The figure wore Dragon Court attire similar in color to his, except his was the male version, while the figure donned a form-fitting, gender-neutral long top and trousers, with ample space in strategic areas, highlighting her graceful curves.
Her appearance also shared Fisher’s features: black hair and eyes, with defined facial features. But while her long hair flowed and her lips were a striking red, contrasting with Fisher’s short hair and slight stubble, her skin was delicate and fresh, radiating both vigor and a hint of ethereal charm.
By now, Fisher started to realize that the woman in the gate bore an uncanny resemblance to him, almost nine-tenths alike, or in other words, apart from the gender difference, everything else was identical!
The woman’s expression was stern, as if she too had just arrived at this "Competitive Gate," exploring its secrets, only to discover other suspicious figures "hidden" within...
She shared a momentary and tacit eye contact with Fisher, and seeing him outside the gate, she also paused with unprecedented vigilance.
She too clutched at her bosom, taking a step back and squashing her clearly outlined softness under her hands, which left Fisher dumbfounded as he involuntarily touched his own chest to make sure nothing inappropriate had grown there, only to find Emhardt’s square body.
Feeling Fisher’s touch, Emhardt, still in his arms, softly inquired,
"What’s wrong, what’s wrong, why did you suddenly stop talking, Fisher?"
He obviously panicked, fearing they had run into something filthy like "Paimon," too scared to lift his head.
But after pondering, he felt something off about the atmosphere.
For instance, logically, if Paimon was here, they’d likely start their usual teasing banter with Fisher, yet it was eerily quiet now?
Something was not right...
But then, if it’s not Paimon, could there be something else terrifying out there?
Thinking along these lines, nearly infinite courage arose within Emhardt.
So, he hastily struggled out of Fisher’s embrace to check the outside situation.
"This is..."
Popping out from behind the book cover, he quickly noticed the "female version of Fisher" in the gate, but before he could open his mouth wide in awe, in the next second, as soon as he stuck his head out, he observed the "female Fisher’s" distinct softness jiggle slightly, followed by a pink-covered Wisdom Book emerging similarly.
The pink-covered book had a lone phoenix eye, adorned with a few long, curled black lashes, and its small mouth also parted slightly in a ladylike manner, looking equally astonished.
Emhardt stared blankly at the situation inside the gate, and inevitably muttered,
"Your mom..."
