Chapter 2: Extra

"AHHHHHH!"

"Ahhh! What the fuck! Why are you screaming!?"

’Raymond’ shot upright in bed, his chest heaving. Hearing his roommate’s startled yell, he turned his gaze to the side.

He wanted to see if the voice had really come from someone else.

There was a man with short green hair, deep penetrating eyes, and an annoyed expression at the door, looking at him.

His earlier shock seemed to have been replaced with confusion as he stared at ’Raymond’.

"Hey, what was that?"

The moment ’Raymond’ saw him, he knew exactly who the guy was. The resemblance was uncannily similar.

"Fred? How..."

It was an extra.

A lackey for a previous mini-villain in The Fool’s novel, the creator of the story Main Character Goes Brt! Brt!

Right now, he was seeing this extra in the flesh.

That’s not all, everything felt so real!

"You...! Why are you still haunting me with your dogshit story until this time! I have had enough of you killing me already! Just stop!"

From Fred’s perspective, his friend’s actions sounded like the complaint of a crazed man who couldn’t distinguish reality from an illusion.

Someone who would need medical help.

There was confusion, but there was also uneasiness about how ’Raymond’ was acting.

If ’Raymond’ can explain the situation, Fred might get an idea of what was happening and get his support.

But even ’Raymond’ was confused and had not an inkling of an idea what was happening.

That’s why Fred asked in concern after ’Raymond’ continued to be silent.

"Are you okay?"

’What is this... what the hell is this?’

As far as he could remember, ’Raymond’ had desperately tried to drag the author to the window and pull him down along with him.

He’s going to die anyway, so why not put out one last hurrah?

It was their head that made contact with the floor first.

And he could still feel the subconscious pain till now.

He remembered how he was screaming. And just now, he was screaming still... until he stopped.

As a professional hater and having read countless books throughout his boring life, ’Raymond’ didn’t appear to be surprised.

He started to realize something.

’Wait, nah. There’s no way, right?’

The green-haired man, Fred, opened the door and left, leaving ’Raymond’ in the room alone after he wasn’t answered.

Once he saw that lackey out of the room, ’Raymond’ stood from his place, almost falling to the ground since he wasn’t ’used’ to the body he was in.

However, it took a few seconds till he regained his footing and slowly walked towards the available mirror in the room.

Soon, figments of memories that weren’t ’his’ appeared on his head that made it throb slightly.

His eyes got stuck in the mirror the instant he had taken a look at himself.

There, stood a young man with decisive features.

Dark blue eyes, disheveled black hair, and an above-average build. His gaze carried a strange mix of calm and hatred.

One thing to note about the person ’Raymond’ he was seeing was the scar above his left eyebrow.

’Ah... this is not me. This is another extra from this dogshit novel, another lackey of the same mini villain like Fred...’

’Raymond’ nodded in acknowledgment as he slowly turned around, his movement appearing sluggish.

Just as he wanted to return from his bed, the overwhelming situation made his aching head throb painfully before his eyes rolled and he fell to the floor.

He fainted.

...

"..."

Raymond’s eyes slowly quivered until they opened. His dark blue pupils came back to life after he witnessed the situation he was in.

His gaze fell on the ceiling. Then he touched his face, until dragging his fingers to his eyes to open and close them.

He turned his head to look at himself in the mirror, then let it fall back onto the ground.

’I’ve transmigrated for real... And an extra... It’s literally like the web novels I’ve read, criticized, and detested... I just have a question though, why in the freaking world is it on my killer’s world!?’

Raymond scratched his head annoyingly while moving towards his bed, feeling its warmth.

Then, used a pillow to cover his face before screaming at the top of his lungs to cover his voice.

He got transmigrated after he was killed.

And it was the body of an extra.

"Ahhhh...!"

For a good few minutes, it was the only thing Raymond did before he eventually needed to stop, sensing his throat parched and sore.

"Damn it...! Damn this all!"

He could still remember it vividly, the excruciating pain, and the moment that felt like an eternity.

Touching his abdomen where The Fool had struck him as if it were a conscious habit that couldn’t be removed, Raymond shivered with hate taking over his heart.

He clenched both of his fists.

"Okay, if I did transmigrate to this trash novel, and as an extra/lackey of the mini-boss that the main character had previously defeated, what should I do...?"

Raymond quickly adjusted his mental state on the matter.

As a professional hater, he read countless books about the same situation as his.

Most of those he read, the characters just cried, were afraid, and were confused, which didn’t help their situation at all.

He wasn’t going to be one of those whimsical and brain-dead mc’s.

"Based on the memories that I received from this body, I can deduce that the two mini-arcs had already happened. Two of those arcs are involved with the mini villain, which made the main character miserable in his time at the academy. This mini villain is no other than Fergus Viola."

Raymond said as he began to pick up a notebook on the side and began to write what he knew of this novel.

Fergus Viola is among what Raymond called "young master," as he was born with pure blood from the well-known Viola Family. He was someone revered as an exceptionally skilled and talented genius.

He thought he was on the top of the food chain, as every young master thinks for themselves...cliche, until he realized he wasn’t due to the figure ’main character’.

He was absolutely defeated in their first confrontation.

Then, it continued to be that way until he was arrested and put in juvenile prison, since his actions and his evil deeds weren’t something that could be hidden even by his family’s supporters in the academy and the people helping him.

Two of those mini-arcs were part of those failed confrontations.

First is kidnapping the main character, which only activates the main character’s hidden powers.

This made Fergus extremely jealous, but at the same time, the main character attracted many people who only wished to help and groom him.

Like a strength-related type of groom.

’Companionships are formed, blah blah, that center around the main character. This companionship includes leads such as female leads, female supporting leads, male supporting leads, blah blah. It involved teachers as well as secret aides. Hah, this happened in a span of a month if I remember correctly...’

The second mini arc that already happened still involved Fergus, but it’s more like he was used just to gauge out the main character’s strength.

A third party used his hatred towards the main character. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

As expected, the main character drew the best of his abilities, showing one of his powers, which is [Sword Of Wrath], and used it on Fergus.

Without the intervention of a teacher, Fergus might not be in prison right now and he most definitely kissed his life goodbye.

Gone to ashes, in a way.

This just happened a week ago, but it was the worst time for Fergus.

"Calculating the days, it’s been a month and a week after the first Chapter. Not too long had passed, but it wasn’t short either. I think that’s it..."

After having to re-read them, Raymond tore them to pieces to avoid a leak that could potentially lead to an unforeseeable outcome.

At most, only his roommate, Fred, would be the one to see it and ask him what this information was about.

He didn’t want that.

’I’ve remembered them in my head.’

Remembering the passing arcs that he recalled on the shitty novel that caused him to be killed, Raymond let out a consoled sigh as he added.

"It would’ve been better if I were at the start of the novel, but alas, I don’t hold my fate and transmigrated at the time that could be said the latest Chapter of the story..."

Remembering once more the pain The Fool had given to him, Raymond covered himself with a pillow again and shouted in a muffled voice.

"I’m going to kill you...! Wait, I already killed you... Then, I’ll kill you if I see you in the afterlife! Fuck, so fucking frustrating! Argh!"

Raymond removed the pillow and then relaxed.

Raymond stood up from his bed and scanned the academy dorm room. It almost felt like he was back with the university life, though not quite the same as in his previous world.

It’s mostly what one could expect when transmigrated into another world... mysterious and extraordinary.

"So I’m an extra, huh."

Raymond looks at ’himself’ or the body that he transmigrated onto and can’t help but smirk.

"Then, I’ll be an extra."

He slightly moved his gaze upwards on the mirror, particularly above his head, as he saw something that looked more like a flag hovering through the air.

"If I’m an extra, why the hell does this flag look like I’m going to be a main character?"

Raymond let out a short, humorous laugh before his expression turned stern.

"No, seriously, what the hell is this flag?"
