The middle-grade method requires a Cultivator to cultivate three phenomena during the Dao Foundation and Technique Refining stages. These are known as the Inner Three Medicines and signify a complete foundation. They must then gather three rare heavenly and earthly treasures, known as the "Outer Three Medicines." This combination is known as the Six Harmonies Great Medicine.
